- Identifying and driving opportunities to onboard the adoption of third-party and in-house cloud infrastructure solutions for deployments, support, security, compliance and observability across DGX Cloud.
- Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and quantitatively demonstrating the value and impact delivered by your programs.
- Proactively identifying, resolving, and mitigating risks and issues that could affect scope, schedule, and quality across all program aspects.
- Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement, consistently seeing opportunities for process improvements within our cloud infrastructure operations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of technical program management experience. You have driven the planning and execution of large-scale cloud infrastructure programs with outside organizations. You focus strongly on software engineering projects within a matrixed organization.
- Extensive hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, preferably gained from working at a major Cloud Service Provider (CSP).
- Domain knowledge in the bring-up and end to end operations of compute, storage and GPU (including common failure points at the HW and SW levels).
- Expert-level proficiency with Jira, Smartsheet, or similar program management tools, with the ability to expertly guide engineering teams on their use of the tools.
- Outstanding strategic and tactical thinking abilities, coupled with a strong capacity to build consensus and drive program success.
- Comfort and efficiency in growing within ambiguous environments.
- Possess excellent communication and technical presentation skills, particularly for executive audiences.
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- In depth knowledge of NVIDIA GPU products, including deployment and bring-up.

- Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD for Level 4, and 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD for Level 5.
- You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.

Tailor your resume to NVIDIA's scale
NVIDIA's Program Manager roles emphasize cross-functional execution across GPU, AI, and data center programs. Highlight experience managing technical roadmaps, coordinating between hardware and software teams, and delivering at scale. Generic project management experience won't stand out in their candidate pool.
Target roles in NVIDIA's infrastructure divisions
NVIDIA's highest-volume Program Manager hiring concentrates in AI infrastructure, compute platforms, and supply chain. Filtering your search by these divisions improves your odds of landing a role where sponsorship is a standard part of the hiring process, not an exception.
Clarify visa type before the offer stage
NVIDIA sponsors both H-1B and E-3 visas for Program Managers. If you hold Australian citizenship, confirm with the recruiter that E-3 is an option, since it bypasses the H-1B lottery and has no annual cap.
Understand NVIDIA's PERM timeline expectations
For Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3, PERM labor certification typically takes 18 to 24 months from filing. Clarify during offer negotiation whether NVIDIA initiates PERM at a set tenure milestone, as policies vary by business unit and manager.
Validate your credentials against a specialty occupation standard
Program Manager roles at NVIDIA require a directly related degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline. USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation status for PM titles, so your degree field and job duties need to align tightly in the offer letter.
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles
Identifying which NVIDIA Program Manager openings are actively sponsoring visas takes time without the right filter. Use Migrate Mate to browse NVIDIA's current openings by visa type so you only apply to roles where sponsorship is already confirmed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does NVIDIA sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. Because H-1B is subject to an annual lottery, NVIDIA typically submits registrations in March for an October 1 start date. If you're already on H-1B with a different employer, NVIDIA can file a transfer petition outside the lottery, letting you start sooner.
Which visa types does NVIDIA commonly use for Program Manager roles?
NVIDIA sponsors H-1B, E-3 visa, and immigrant visas including EB-2 and EB-3 for Program Managers. Australian citizens are often steered toward the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and allows two-year renewable status. For long-term permanent residence, NVIDIA initiates PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through the EB-2 or EB-3 categories depending on the role's degree requirements.
What qualifications does NVIDIA expect for Program Manager roles?
NVIDIA's Program Manager postings consistently require a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a closely related technical field. Relevant experience coordinating cross-functional programs in hardware, AI infrastructure, or semiconductor environments is weighted heavily. An MBA or advanced technical degree can strengthen candidacy for senior-level roles, but the underlying technical fluency is non-negotiable.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at NVIDIA?
Applications go through NVIDIA's careers portal. To find openings that include visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate to filter NVIDIA's Program Manager listings by visa type before applying. When you apply, tailor your materials to the specific program area, whether AI platforms, data center, or supply chain, since NVIDIA's hiring teams are organized by business unit and review candidates accordingly.
How do I plan my timeline if NVIDIA is sponsoring my H-1B?
If you need a new H-1B, plan for an October 1 start date at the earliest, with USCIS registration opening in March. Premium processing can reduce USCIS adjudication to 15 business days once a petition is filed, but the lottery window itself can't be accelerated. If you're transferring an existing H-1B, NVIDIA can file a concurrent petition and you may be able to start before USCIS issues a final approval under portability rules.
