Frame your PM credentials around hardware delivery cycles
NVIDIA's Project Program Manager roles frequently involve GPU or systems programs with multi-year roadmaps. Highlight experience managing cross-functional dependencies in hardware or semiconductor environments, since software-only PM backgrounds get less traction here.
Target roles labeled program manager not project manager
NVIDIA's internal job architecture often uses 'Program Manager' for the cross-functional coordination roles that sponsor visas. Searching specifically for that title on their careers portal surfaces the highest-volume sponsorship pipeline for this function.
Verify your specialty occupation eligibility before applying
H-1B sponsorship for Project Program Manager roles requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. Confirm the job description ties degree requirements to a specific field like engineering, computer science, or operations research, not just any bachelor's degree.
Align your application timing with NVIDIA's hiring calendar
NVIDIA ramps Project Program Manager hiring ahead of major product launch cycles, typically in Q1 and Q3. Targeting those windows improves your odds of receiving an offer early enough to clear H-1B cap registration in April or begin E-3 consular processing without timeline pressure.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified NVIDIA sponsorship openings
Sorting through NVIDIA's full job board wastes time on roles that don't sponsor. Use Migrate Mate to filter Project Program Manager openings at NVIDIA specifically confirmed to support H-1B, E-3, or Green Card pathways, so you apply where sponsorship is already in scope.
Understand how NVIDIA structures the LCA before your offer stage
NVIDIA files a Labor Condition Application with DOL before submitting your H-1B or E-3 petition. The LCA locks in your work location and prevailing wage tier, so if your role involves distributed or hybrid work across multiple NVIDIA sites, confirm with your recruiter how that gets captured.

Find Project Program Manager at NVIDIA JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does NVIDIA sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Yes, NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for Project Program Manager roles. The position generally qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires a degree in a specific technical field such as electrical engineering, computer science, or systems engineering. NVIDIA's immigration team handles the USCIS petition process, including the Labor Condition Application filed with DOL, once you have a signed offer.
Which visa types does NVIDIA commonly use for Project Program Manager roles?
NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for most international candidates in this function. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and allows consular processing on a faster timeline. For longer-term pathways, NVIDIA supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, typically initiated after you've been in the role for a period of time and the employer decides to move forward with permanent residence.
What qualifications does NVIDIA expect for Project Program Manager roles?
NVIDIA's Project Program Manager openings typically require a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline. Experience coordinating cross-functional programs in semiconductor, hardware, or systems environments carries significant weight. Familiarity with program tracking methodologies, supply chain dependencies, or silicon bring-up schedules is frequently listed as a requirement rather than a preference in these job descriptions.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at NVIDIA?
You can search NVIDIA's careers portal directly or use Migrate Mate to browse Project Program Manager openings at NVIDIA that are filtered for visa sponsorship eligibility. Once you identify a role, apply through NVIDIA's applicant tracking system. Tailor your resume to reflect program management experience in hardware or GPU-adjacent environments, since NVIDIA's recruiting team screens heavily for domain fit before advancing candidates to technical interviews.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship through NVIDIA?
The H-1B cap registration window opens in March each year for an October 1 start date. If NVIDIA selects you in the lottery, your petition is filed and adjudicated over the following months. To hit that window, aim to have your offer finalized by February. If you miss the cap cycle, NVIDIA may be able to place you in a cap-exempt setting temporarily or explore whether an E-3 or other visa category applies to your situation.
