Tailor your resume to NVIDIA's EPM scope
NVIDIA's Engineering Program Managers own end-to-end delivery across GPU, networking, and AI platform programs. Highlight cross-functional coordination, silicon or systems-level program experience, and schedule risk management rather than general project management credentials.
Pursue PMP or technical domain certifications first
NVIDIA's EPM job postings frequently reference formal program management credentials alongside engineering depth. Holding a PMP certification or demonstrable expertise in semiconductor or compute systems strengthens your specialty occupation case for H-1B purposes before you apply.
Target NVIDIA's hardware and AI infrastructure teams
EPM openings at NVIDIA cluster around GPU architecture, data center, and autonomous vehicle programs. Filtering your search by these business units surfaces roles with the highest sponsorship activity and aligns your application with teams that regularly hire internationally.
Use Migrate Mate to identify NVIDIA EPM openings
Sponsored EPM roles at NVIDIA aren't always labeled clearly on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter NVIDIA openings by visa type so you're only spending time on roles where sponsorship is actively offered for your status.
Confirm LCA filing timing before your start date
NVIDIA must file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting your H-1B petition to USCIS. Build at least four to six weeks into your expected start date timeline to account for LCA certification and I-129 preparation.
Clarify E-3 portability if you're changing NVIDIA teams
Australian nationals on an E-3 at NVIDIA can move between internal program management roles, but a material change in job duties may require a new LCA and updated visa documentation. Confirm with NVIDIA's immigration team whether an internal transfer triggers a refiling obligation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does NVIDIA sponsor H-1B visas for Engineering Program Managers?
Yes, NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for Engineering Program Manager roles. The company works with immigration counsel to file Labor Condition Applications with the DOL and I-129 petitions with USCIS on behalf of qualifying candidates. EPM positions typically satisfy the specialty occupation requirement given the technical degree expectations in NVIDIA's job postings.
How do I apply for Engineering Program Manager jobs at NVIDIA?
Applications go through NVIDIA's careers portal at nvidia.com/en-us/about-nvidia/careers. Filter by the Engineering Program Management job family and review each posting for sponsorship eligibility language. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse NVIDIA EPM openings filtered by visa type, which saves time if you need confirmed sponsorship support before applying.
Which visa types does NVIDIA use for Engineering Program Manager roles?
NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for the broadest pool of international candidates and E-3 visas for Australian citizens. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, NVIDIA supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways, which typically involve PERM labor certification filed with the DOL before an immigrant petition is submitted to USCIS.
What qualifications does NVIDIA expect for Engineering Program Manager roles?
Most NVIDIA EPM postings require a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, along with several years of program management experience in hardware or software development. Experience coordinating across silicon design, software, and operations teams is frequently cited. A PMP certification can strengthen both your application and your specialty occupation classification for visa purposes.
How do I navigate the visa sponsorship timeline when accepting an NVIDIA EPM offer?
If you need H-1B sponsorship, NVIDIA must secure a certified LCA from the DOL before filing with USCIS, a process that typically takes four to eight weeks in total. Cap-subject H-1B petitions are tied to the April lottery, so offers made outside that window may require a cap-exempt route or a change from another status. Align your target start date with your recruiter early.
