Frame your PMP credentials for consulting contexts
Westwood operates in professional services, so certifications like PMP or PMI-ACP carry real weight. Translate your credentials into consulting-relevant outcomes on your resume, showing how you managed scope, stakeholders, and deliverables across client engagements.
Clarify LCA obligations with the hiring team early
For H-1B sponsorship, Westwood must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting your petition to USCIS. Confirm this step is in their standard onboarding process for sponsored hires before accepting an offer.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Westwood Program Manager openings
Westwood posts Program Manager roles across multiple locations and project types. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Westwood openings that align with your visa type, so you're not manually sorting through postings that won't lead to sponsorship.
Distinguish your EB-2 versus EB-3 eligibility upfront
If you're targeting Green Card sponsorship through Westwood, the classification matters. EB-2 typically requires an advanced degree or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers professionals with a bachelor's. Consulting firms often file under EB-3 for Program Manager titles, which affects your PERM timeline.
Negotiate sponsorship terms before signing the offer letter
Program Manager offers in consulting sometimes separate base compensation from relocation or visa costs. Confirm in writing whether Westwood covers H-1B filing fees, premium processing, and legal counsel costs before you countersign, since these terms vary by seniority level.

Find Program Manager at Westwood Professional Services JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Westwood Professional Services sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Westwood Professional Services sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. As a consulting and professional services firm, they have an established sponsorship track record for this function. If you're currently on OPT or transitioning from another employer's H-1B, Westwood can initiate the H-1B petition process, including the required Labor Condition Application filing with the DOL, once you have a qualifying offer.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Westwood Professional Services?
You can browse and apply for Program Manager openings at Westwood Professional Services directly through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can identify positions aligned with your status. Applications typically require a resume tailored to consulting delivery, and some postings specify clearance requirements or industry vertical experience. Applying through a targeted platform reduces time spent on roles that don't support your visa type.
Which visa types does Westwood Professional Services commonly use for Program Manager roles?
Westwood sponsors a range of visa categories for Program Managers, including H-1B, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for students in eligible STEM or business programs, J-1 for qualifying exchange visitors, and EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant visas for candidates pursuing permanent residence. The right pathway depends on your nationality, degree level, and where you are in the immigration process.
What qualifications does Westwood Professional Services expect for Program Manager candidates?
Westwood typically expects Program Manager candidates to have a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, information systems, or a related field, along with direct experience managing cross-functional projects or client-facing programs. PMP certification is commonly preferred. In consulting contexts, experience with stakeholder management, budget oversight, and delivery governance across multiple workstreams carries more weight than industry-specific background alone.
How do I time my application around H-1B cap deadlines if I'm on OPT?
USCIS accepts H-1B cap-subject petitions in April for an October 1 start date, so your offer should be secured by late February or March to give Westwood time to file. If your OPT expires before October 1 and you have a STEM extension, the 24-month window can bridge the gap. Confirm with Westwood's HR team that they're prepared to file within the cap registration window, since consulting firms vary in how early they initiate the process.
