Frame your PMP or credentials for infrastructure
STV's Program Manager roles center on infrastructure, transportation, and engineering consulting. Highlight credentials like PMP certification alongside project delivery experience in those sectors. Generic program management backgrounds won't stand out the way domain-specific ones do.
Target STV's active project regions strategically
STV staffs Program Managers against active project wins, so roles open in clusters tied to contract awards. Research their publicly announced contracts in transit, highways, and facilities to identify which office locations are actively hiring.
Clarify your visa type before the recruiter conversation
STV sponsors multiple visa categories for this role. Know whether you need H-1B cap filing, OPT extension, or TN status before the first call. Recruiters in consulting move fast, and ambiguity about your timeline can stall an otherwise strong candidacy.
Use Migrate Mate to filter STV Program Manager openings
New openings at STV for this role don't always surface cleanly on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for STV Program Manager positions by visa type, so you're applying to roles where sponsorship is confirmed rather than assumed.
Align your offer timing with the H-1B cap window
H-1B cap registrations open in March for an October 1 start. If your offer comes through mid-year, work with STV's immigration counsel to understand whether cap-exempt filing or a bridge arrangement covers the gap period.

Find Program Manager at STV JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does STV sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, STV sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. The company has an active sponsorship track record for this function, covering both initial cap-subject H-1B filings and transfers for candidates already holding H-1B status with another employer. If you're mid-cycle and already have an approved H-1B, a transfer typically allows you to start sooner than waiting for a cap filing.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at STV?
You can apply through STV's careers portal directly, or use Migrate Mate to find and filter STV Program Manager openings by visa sponsorship type. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect infrastructure or engineering consulting experience, as STV's Program Manager roles are heavily project-delivery focused. Attach any relevant certifications, particularly PMP, to make your application complete from the start.
Which visa types does STV commonly use for Program Manager roles?
STV sponsors H-1B, TN, J-1, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Program Manager positions, and also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term candidates. TN is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management roles. If you're on OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility and end date before starting the conversation with STV's recruiting team.
What qualifications does STV expect for Program Manager roles?
STV typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field, combined with experience managing large-scale infrastructure or consulting programs. PMP certification is frequently listed as preferred. Familiarity with government or public-sector project delivery is a practical advantage, given STV's client base in transit agencies and municipal infrastructure.
How do I navigate the sponsorship process timeline after receiving an offer from STV?
Once you have an offer, STV's immigration counsel or HR team initiates the sponsorship process, which varies by visa type. H-1B cap cases require USCIS registration in March for an October start, so timing matters. For TN or H-1B transfers, the timeline is shorter. PERM-based Green Card processes require DOL-compliant recruitment steps that typically run 12 to 24 months before the petition is filed.
