How to Get Visa Sponsorship in STV Visa Sponsorship USA
Target engineering and infrastructure roles
STV's core business is infrastructure consulting, transportation, buildings, and energy. Roles in civil, structural, and mechanical engineering align closely with their sponsored positions. Focus your application on technical disciplines where the specialty occupation requirement is straightforward to satisfy.
Understand STV's H-1B sponsorship pattern
STV has a strong track record sponsoring H-1B petitions, making it a reliable target for candidates on F-1 OPT or those needing cap-subject H-1B support. Their active sponsorship history signals that international hiring is part of their standard recruiting process, not an exception.
Green Card sponsorship is on the table
STV sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, which matters if you're thinking long-term. When interviewing, ask about their internal immigration support process, knowing they have an established pathway gives you leverage to plan your U.S. career trajectory from day one.
OPT and CPT candidates have a real shot
STV sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, which means they're accustomed to onboarding students directly from U.S. universities. If you're finishing an engineering or technical degree, targeting STV early in your job search is a practical move before your OPT clock starts.
Search for STV openings through verified sponsorship data
When browsing STV's open roles, prioritize positions in project delivery, design, and program management, these align with their historical sponsorship activity. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and confirm STV's track record before applying.
Prepare for a technical and compliance-oriented hiring process

Does STV sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, STV sponsors H-1B visas and does so with notable consistency. They are an active H-1B sponsor within the consulting and infrastructure engineering sector, making them a strong target for candidates who need cap-subject H-1B support or are transitioning from F-1 OPT. Their sponsorship activity reflects an established process for hiring international talent into technical roles.
Which visa types does STV sponsor?
STV sponsors a broad range of visa types, including H-1B, EB-2, EB-3 Green Cards, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and J-1. This range is notable for a firm of their size and signals that international hiring is embedded in their recruiting operations, not handled case by case.
Which roles and departments at STV are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at STV is concentrated in technical and project-based roles, civil engineers, structural engineers, transportation planners, program managers, and design professionals. These positions map directly to STV's core infrastructure consulting work, where specialty occupation status is well-established and the degree requirement is clear-cut.
How do I find visa-sponsored job openings at STV?
The most reliable approach is to search for STV on Migrate Mate, which surfaces employers with verified sponsorship histories so you can confirm their track record before investing time in an application. Filter by visa type to match openings against your specific authorization needs, whether that's H-1B, OPT, or TN.
How do I time my application to STV given their sponsorship process?
For H-1B sponsorship, the cap filing window opens in March for an October 1 start date, which means you need an offer in hand well before that. TN and OPT transitions can move faster. Start conversations with STV recruiters at least three to four months before your intended start date to leave room for the LCA certification and petition process.
