Frame Your Credentials Around Financial Infrastructure
Brex evaluates Technical PMs on experience with payments, APIs, or banking-adjacent products. Before applying, document your work with financial data systems, compliance workflows, or developer-facing products so your background maps clearly to their core platform.
Confirm Sponsorship Fit Before the Process Starts
Not every open Technical PM role at Brex will have sponsorship approved at the same stage. Ask the recruiter directly which roles have sponsorship budget allocated, since H-1B sponsorship decisions at fintech companies often depend on team headcount and fiscal quarter.
Use DOL LCA Data to Validate Role Leveling
Before negotiating your offer, search DOL Labor Condition Application disclosure data for Brex Technical PM filings to understand how they level and classify the role. Mismatched role titles between your offer letter and the LCA can create complications at the USCIS petition stage.
Build a Portfolio Showing Cross-Functional Ownership
Brex Technical PM interviews test whether you can own outcomes across engineering, compliance, and design in regulated financial contexts. Prepare case studies where you drove product decisions involving risk, fraud, or payment infrastructure rather than consumer feature work alone.
Search Verified Sponsoring Companies on Migrate Mate
Finding companies that sponsor Technical PMs in fintech takes real filtering. Use Migrate Mate to browse open Technical Product Manager roles at employers with verified sponsorship history, so you're targeting positions where sponsorship is realistic before investing in the application process.

Find Technical Product Manager at Brex JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Brex sponsor H-1B visas for Technical Product Managers?
Yes, Brex sponsors H-1B visas for Technical Product Manager roles. Brex has an established pattern of filing H-1B petitions for technical and product functions, which reflects their reliance on specialized talent in financial infrastructure. If you're on an existing H-1B, Brex can file a transfer petition without waiting for the annual lottery, provided you have an approved I-140 or are in valid H-1B status.
How do I apply for Technical Product Manager jobs at Brex?
Apply directly through Brex's careers page, where Technical PM roles are listed by team and product area. Tailor your resume to highlight experience with developer tools, payments, or enterprise financial products. During the initial recruiter screen, confirm that the specific role includes visa sponsorship, since not all open requisitions are approved for sponsorship at the same time.
Which visa types does Brex commonly use for Technical Product Manager roles?
Brex sponsors H-1B visas most commonly for Technical PM roles, along with TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. F-1 OPT and CPT are also supported for eligible candidates earlier in the hiring process. For longer-term pathways, Brex has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions through the PERM labor certification process for Technical PM talent.
What qualifications does Brex expect for Technical Product Manager candidates?
Brex typically expects a computer science or engineering background combined with product management experience, particularly in payments, APIs, or B2B financial software. Technical PMs at Brex are expected to work closely with engineers on system design, so familiarity with API architecture, data modeling, or compliance-adjacent product requirements strengthens a candidacy significantly compared to consumer product experience alone.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take when joining Brex as a Technical Product Manager?
If you're transferring an existing H-1B, Brex can file a cap-exempt petition and you can start once USCIS receives it, typically within a few weeks with premium processing. For new H-1B lottery registrations, USCIS selects in March for an October 1 start date, meaning a six-month-plus gap between selection and authorization. To find Technical PM roles at Brex and other sponsoring employers, browse Migrate Mate for verified openings that match your visa type.
