This PM will:
- Partner with engineering teams to launch campaign reporting metrics to meet the needs of advertisers and agencies
- Translate users’ reporting needs into actionable technical requirements
- Prioritize the product roadmap, managing near-term product delivery while formulating a long-term product strategy to provide the most relevant and innovative reporting and measurement to Netflix’s advertisers
- Be an expert on the methodologies of our campaign delivery metrics, including viewability, audience reach and frequency, eCPMs, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in sales, solutions engineering, measurement analysts, ad operations, marketing, strategy, policy, and legal, as well as external auditors, to bring reporting products to market that meet MRC’s standards
- Drive the MRC accreditation process and roadmap; be the expert in MRC requirements and the technical changes required to secure accreditation for Netflix’s reporting metrics
We’re seeking a candidate who has:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with a proven record of successfully launching and scaling platforms
- Experience launching and scaling advertising reporting products
- A thorough understanding of digital advertising reporting and measurement needs; knowledge of CTV publishers is a plus
- Experience working on MRC accreditations or past experience with audit processes
- Has experience collaborating closely with advertisers, agencies, measurement partners, ad tech partners, and publisher sales and measurement analyst teams
- Has experience collaborating with Engineering, Data Science, and other Product Teams

Frame your portfolio around product impact
Netflix engineering managers are evaluated on their ability to ship product at scale, not just manage headcount. Document specific outcomes you owned, such as latency improvements, feature adoption rates, or cross-functional launches, before your first conversation.
Target roles open to multiple visa types
Netflix sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT for engineering management roles. If your visa category is less common at large tech employers, lead with your authorization type early in recruiter screens so sponsorship logistics get resolved before the offer stage.
Align your interview narrative to Netflix culture docs
Netflix hiring panels weight cultural fit as heavily as technical depth. Product Engineering Managers who can articulate how they handled autonomy, disagree-and-commit moments, and direct feedback loops tend to move further in the loop than candidates who lead only with credentials.
Confirm LCA filing timelines before accepting
Netflix must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before your H-1B petition reaches USCIS. Ask your recruiter when the LCA will be filed and whether premium processing is part of your offer package so your start date is realistic.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open Product Engineering Manager roles
Netflix posts engineering management roles across multiple geographies and business units at different times. Use Migrate Mate to filter open Product Engineering Manager positions at Netflix by visa type so you only apply to roles that match your sponsorship situation.
Account for your OPT cap-gap window during hiring
If you're on F-1 OPT and your EAD expires before October 1, the USCIS cap-gap rule extends your work authorization if an H-1B petition is filed on your behalf in time. Raise this with Netflix's immigration team as soon as you enter the offer stage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Netflix sponsor H-1B visas for Product Engineering Managers?
Yes, Netflix sponsors H-1B visas for Product Engineering Manager roles. This function is central to Netflix's engineering organization, and the company has a consistent history of filing H-1B petitions for qualified candidates in technical leadership positions. Sponsorship is typically handled through Netflix's in-house immigration team in coordination with outside counsel once an offer is extended.
Which visa types does Netflix commonly sponsor for Product Engineering Manager roles?
Netflix sponsors H-1B, E-3 visa, TN visa, EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visas for Product Engineering Manager positions. E-3 visa is available exclusively to Australian citizens, and TN visa applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals under USMCA. The right category depends on your citizenship, degree field, and whether you're already in the U.S. on a qualifying status.
What qualifications or experience does Netflix expect for Product Engineering Manager candidates?
Netflix generally expects Product Engineering Managers to have a background in software engineering combined with demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams shipping consumer-facing products at scale. A degree in computer science or a related field is common, though Netflix also evaluates hands-on engineering depth, product judgment, and experience operating in high-autonomy environments without heavy process infrastructure.
How do I apply for Product Engineering Manager jobs at Netflix?
You can search and apply for Product Engineering Manager roles directly through Netflix's careers site, or use Migrate Mate to browse open Netflix positions filtered by visa sponsorship type. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect product ownership and engineering leadership outcomes. Netflix recruiters screen for both technical credibility and alignment with their culture of high performance and direct communication.
How do I plan my timeline for an H-1B or Green Card petition with Netflix?
For H-1B, the annual cap-subject filing window opens April 1 for an October 1 start date, so offers made in the preceding months align with that cycle. Netflix typically files through its immigration counsel once your offer is finalized. For Green Card sponsorship via EB-2 or EB-3, the PERM labor certification process can take one to two years before the I-140 petition stage, so it's worth raising your long-term plans with Netflix's immigration team early in your tenure.
