We connect people around the globe with stories and interactive experiences by pairing exceptional content with world-class innovation. The Games Finance & Strategy (F&S) team develops strategic insights to advance the company’s gaming initiative and is primarily responsible for programming and growth strategy, performance/audience insights, competitive analyses, and metric development. Executives and senior management depend heavily on our team to accurately assess, contextualize, and forecast the business and lead the strategic analysis that is used to inform critical business decisions.

- Regularly present reports on performance and progress in an easy-to-understand format to senior business leaders
- Collaborate directly with top leaders in the Games organization: identify underlying trends, translate high-level thoughts into actionable strategies with measurable goals, and assist in socializing these strategies and coordinating execution across a diverse set of stakeholders
- Netflix Games is fast-growing with a flat organizational structure, which means that employees are often asked to perform tasks with a range of difficulties. You must be motivated, disciplined, and able to work effectively autonomously.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of experience in a highly analytical role, ideally in management consulting, investment banking, or in a strategy & operations-focused role at a top-tier media or technology company
- Strong passion for games, Netflix IP, or the entertainment industry at large
- Experience conducting quantitative analyses (including modeling) and qualitative analyses that can drive insights and results
- Excellent communication/presentation skills with a track record of presenting complex analyses to senior management clearly and concisely

Frame your strategy work around measurable outcomes
Netflix strategy teams care about quantifiable business impact, not just process ownership. Document how your work influenced revenue, market entry, or competitive positioning. Concrete outcomes are what clear the bar during resume screens and visa sponsorship decisions.
Target roles tied to Netflix's expansion priorities
Netflix consistently hires strategy talent for content licensing, international market development, and platform monetization. Aligning your application to one of these known growth areas makes you a stronger fit for roles where the company is most likely to sponsor.
Understand how Netflix structures its immigration process
Large technology companies like Netflix typically manage visa sponsorship through in-house immigration counsel alongside external law firms. Once an offer is extended, your main job is responding quickly to document requests so the LCA and I-129 timelines stay on track.
Clarify your visa status early in the recruiter conversation
Netflix recruiters at this scale are experienced with H-1B, E-3, and TN sponsorship, but they need to know your specific status to plan the offer timeline. Stating your current authorization and any upcoming deadlines upfront avoids delays after an offer is made.
Use Migrate Mate to filter and track Netflix strategy openings

Find Strategy at Netflix JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Netflix sponsor H-1B visas for Strategys?
Yes, Netflix sponsors H-1B visas for Strategy roles. As a large U.S. technology employer, Netflix files H-1B petitions through the annual USCIS lottery, which opens in March each year with an April 1 filing window. If you're currently on OPT or another status, confirming your timeline with the recruiter early helps both sides plan around the H-1B cap cycle.
How do I apply for Strategy jobs at Netflix?
Applications go through Netflix's careers site, where Strategy roles are posted under business operations, corporate development, or content strategy depending on the team. Tailoring your resume to the specific business unit matters here. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse verified Netflix Strategy openings filtered by the visa types they sponsor, which saves time identifying the right roles.
Which visa types does Netflix commonly use for Strategy roles?
Netflix sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT for Strategy positions, with the right category depending on your nationality and current status. Australian citizens typically pursue the E-3 path, which has no lottery and faster processing. Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations may use TN. If you're on F-1 OPT, Netflix can file an H-1B petition before your OPT expires.
What qualifications does Netflix expect for Strategy roles?
Most Strategy roles at Netflix expect a bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field, with an MBA common at senior levels. Beyond credentials, Netflix places heavy weight on demonstrated impact in prior strategy roles, comfort with ambiguous problem sets, and experience working directly with executive stakeholders. Industry experience in media, technology, or consumer products is frequently reflected in job descriptions.
How does the visa sponsorship timeline work after a Netflix offer?
After an offer is accepted, Netflix's immigration team initiates the Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which typically certifies within seven business days. The I-129 petition then goes to USCIS. Standard processing runs several months, though premium processing is available for a faster USCIS decision. If you're transferring an existing H-1B, you can start work once the petition is filed under portability rules.
