At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.
We are looking for a finance and operations professional to help us scale our operations and elevate how we run source-to-pay at Netflix. The Finance Procurement Operations (FPO) team supports Netflix’s Source-to-Pay processes - how we source, procure, and pay our partners around the world. Within FPO, the Strategic Operations team is a strategic thought partner to leaders; we drive alignment across FPO, project-manage big cross-functional bets, drive impact and results, and help prioritize the FinTech and engineering work that powers our operations.
We’re looking for a Program Analyst to help us scale how we work.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a solid understanding of the S2P workflow, experience in project management, a process-innovation mindset, and a passion for developing strong cross-functional relationships. This position will be based in our Los Angeles office and report to the Strategic Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
-
Work closely with Program Leads and FPO leadership to support programs and strategies that improve our global operations.
-
Help define how we measure success for key programs: baselines, targets, and impact
-
Support FPO strategies and programs by providing project management support
-
Manage project plans, timelines, status updates, and escalations/risk to ensure everyone is aligned and the project is on track
- Drive follow-through on decisions and action items with stakeholders across time zones.
- Use data and process insight to identify what’s working, what’s not, and where we should focus.
-
FinTech / Systems Prioritization Support:
-
Help translate operational needs into clear requirements and input to engineering and product teams (e.g., Workday Financials, workflow tools, support tools).
- Review FPO-driven FinTech projects and perform prioritization and impact analysis to determine what Engineering works on
- Support UAT and rollout for new features or tools, and help track adoption and impact.
- Support change management: communications, training materials, FAQs, and light enablement for process or tool changes.
Qualities We’re Looking For
- 3-6 years of experience in Operational Finance, Finance/Procurement Operations, Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, or Program/Project Management
- Familiarity with S2P workflows (requisitions, POs, invoices, payments, vendor setup/management) is a plus.
- You’re analytically minded - comfortable working with data (Excel/Sheets, basic BI tools), spotting patterns, and turning numbers into insight.
- You’re a structured problem-solver who can bring order to ambiguity and break big problems into manageable pieces.
- You’re organized and able to juggle multiple workstreams without dropping details.
- You communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and you’re comfortable drafting concise decks and memos for different audiences.
- You enjoy understanding how things actually work end-to-end, and you’re motivated to make them better.
- You build strong relationships and are effective in a cross-matrixed, global environment.
- Experience with tools like Workday Financials, SmartSheets, Tableau, Freshdesk, or AI solutions is a plus, but not a requirement. You learn new tools quickly.

Job Roles at Netflix Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Netflix Visa Sponsorship USA
Target engineering and data roles first
Netflix's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical disciplines, software engineering, machine learning, and data science. If your background is in these areas, you're applying into the part of the organization with the strongest sponsorship track record.
Apply well before your current status expires
Netflix's hiring process for technical roles can span several rounds over weeks. If you're on OPT or nearing a status deadline, start your application early enough that an offer and petition can be filed before your authorization lapses.
Filter for verified sponsoring employers before applying
Not every job listing clearly states sponsorship availability. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your effort on employers like Netflix who have a documented record of filing.
Highlight streaming, platform, or content technology experience
Netflix hires internationally for roles tied to its core business: content delivery, recommendation systems, studio technology, and platform engineering. Framing your experience around these areas makes your application more relevant to their sponsorship-eligible openings.
Ask about Green Card sponsorship during the offer stage
Netflix has an active Green Card program alongside its nonimmigrant visa sponsorship. Once you have an offer in hand, it's appropriate to ask the recruiter about PERM sponsorship timelines, especially if you're already on H-1B and thinking long-term.

Does Netflix sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Netflix sponsors H-1B visas and is among the more active technology employers doing so. Sponsorship is most common in software engineering, data science, and related technical roles. Netflix also files Green Card petitions for longer-term employees, making it a strong option if you're thinking beyond the nonimmigrant stage.
Which visa types does Netflix sponsor?
Netflix sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and Green Card (EB-2 and EB-3) categories. The breadth of visa types it supports is notable, particularly the inclusion of E-3, which is available exclusively to Australian citizens and bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely.
Which departments or roles at Netflix are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Technical roles dominate Netflix's sponsorship activity. Software engineers, machine learning engineers, data scientists, and platform infrastructure specialists make up the bulk of sponsored positions. Product management and some business functions are also sponsored, though at lower volumes than engineering. Roles tied to Netflix's core streaming and content technology are your strongest bet.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Netflix?
Migrate Mate lets you filter job listings by employer sponsorship history, so you can browse Netflix openings specifically and confirm the visa types they've sponsored before applying. This saves time compared to screening individual listings for sponsorship language. Focus your search on engineering and technical categories for the highest concentration of eligible roles.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored by Netflix?
Align your application to Netflix's technical hiring priorities: streaming infrastructure, recommendation systems, content engineering, and data platforms are areas where they recruit internationally at volume. Be clear about your visa status and timeline early in the recruiting process. Netflix has established workflows for visa petitions, so they're not unfamiliar with the process, but they do expect candidates to communicate status proactively.
