We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.
We recently launched a new ad-supported tier to offer our members with more choice in how they consume their content. Our new tier allows us to attract new members at a lower price point, while also creating a compelling path for advertisers to reach audiences that are deeply immersed.
Our Team:
The Ads Platform team builds the advertising systems and integrations that power the delivery of ads using our world class content delivery ecosystem. We deliver ads in a manner that’s thoughtful of our members’ viewing experience and drives great outcomes for advertisers.
Our team is new and yet faced with the ambitions of building highly performant advertising systems and delivering high impact to our business by monetizing our incredible slate of content. As one of the newest entrants in the Connected TV advertising space that’s rapidly growing, we seek to build unique value propositions that differentiate Netflix from other ad-supported streaming services.
We are looking for a Product Manager in the advertising space who is excited to join us on this journey.
About the Role:
As part of the Ads Measurement & Reporting team, this PM will be responsible for building and evolving our reporting products that help advertisers and their agencies understand their campaign delivery on Netflix. This person will own the technical aspects of our ongoing Media Ratings Council (MRC) accreditation process, its expansion in coverage and scope, and the associated metrics and reports.
This PM will:
- Partner with engineering teams to launch campaign reporting metrics to meet the needs of advertisers and agencies
- Translate users’ reporting needs into actionable technical requirements
- Prioritize the product roadmap, managing near-term product delivery while formulating a long-term product strategy to provide the most relevant and innovative reporting and measurement to Netflix’s advertisers
- Be an expert on the methodologies of our campaign delivery metrics, including viewability, audience reach and frequency, eCPMs, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in sales, solutions engineering, measurement analysts, ad operations, marketing, strategy, policy, and legal, as well as external auditors, to bring reporting products to market that meet MRC’s standards
- Drive the MRC accreditation process and roadmap; be the expert in MRC requirements and the technical changes required to secure accreditation for Netflix’s reporting metrics
We’re seeking a candidate who has:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with a proven record of successfully launching and scaling platforms
- Experience launching and scaling advertising reporting products
- A thorough understanding of digital advertising reporting and measurement needs; knowledge of CTV publishers is a plus
- Experience working on MRC accreditations or past experience with audit processes
- Has experience collaborating closely with advertisers, agencies, measurement partners, ad tech partners, and publisher sales and measurement analyst teams
- Has experience collaborating with Engineering, Data Science, and other Product Teams

Frame Your PM Experience Around Impact
Netflix evaluates PMs on ownership of measurable outcomes, not process management. Before applying, reframe your resume and portfolio around subscriber growth, retention, or revenue impact you drove, since that language maps directly to how Netflix defines PM success.
Target Roles Aligned to Your Visa Category
Netflix sponsors multiple visa types, but your category shapes which roles are realistic right now. F-1 OPT candidates should prioritize roles with cap-exempt hiring paths, while H-1B holders mid-petition should confirm whether a role qualifies for H-1B transfer before accepting an interview.
Prepare Your Specialty Occupation Evidence Early
For H-1B filings, USCIS scrutinizes whether a PM role qualifies as a specialty occupation. Gather documentation showing the position requires a specific bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field, such as computer science, engineering, or information systems, not a general business background.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Netflix PM Openings
Netflix posts PM roles across product domains like personalization, content, and payments. Search Migrate Mate to filter Netflix openings by visa type and role level, so you're only spending time on positions that match your sponsorship situation.
Engage Netflix Recruiters During the April H-1B Window
USCIS opens H-1B registration each March for an April 1 cap-subject start date. If you need cap-subject sponsorship, timing your offer and I-129 filing to meet that window matters. Align your interview timeline so an offer can realistically land in February or March.
Clarify Sponsorship Scope Before the Offer Stage
Netflix distinguishes between sponsoring a new H-1B petition and transferring an existing one. During recruiter screening, ask directly whether the role supports your specific visa status, since some PM teams move faster on candidates who can transfer without waiting for a new cap-subject slot.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Netflix sponsor H-1B visas for Product Managers?
Yes, Netflix sponsors H-1B visas for Product Manager roles. The company files both cap-subject petitions for candidates needing new H-1B slots and cap-exempt transfers for those already holding H-1B status with another employer. If you're targeting a cap-subject H-1B, your offer timeline needs to align with USCIS's annual registration window, which opens each March.
How do I apply for Product Manager jobs at Netflix?
Apply directly through Netflix's careers portal, which lists PM openings by product domain and seniority level. Tailor your application to highlight measurable product outcomes and cross-functional leadership, since Netflix screens heavily on demonstrated ownership and judgment. You can also browse Netflix PM roles filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate to find positions that match your sponsorship situation before applying.
Which visa types does Netflix commonly sponsor for Product Manager roles?
Netflix sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for PM roles. E-3 is available to Australian citizens and is often faster to process than a cap-subject H-1B. TN applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. If you're on OPT, Netflix can sponsor the H-1B transition before your OPT expires.
What qualifications does Netflix expect for Product Manager roles?
Netflix PM roles typically require a bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical field, such as computer science, engineering, or statistics, plus several years of product experience shipping consumer-facing features at scale. Senior and staff-level PM roles also expect experience owning a product line end to end, including defining strategy, running experiments, and influencing engineering and design decisions without direct authority.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for Netflix PM offers?
Timeline depends on your visa category. H-1B transfers for candidates already in status can move in two to four weeks with premium processing through USCIS. Cap-subject H-1B petitions follow the April 1 fiscal year cycle, so a role starting October 1 requires registration in March. E-3 consular processing at Australian consulates typically runs two to four weeks after your employer files the Labor Condition Application with DOL.
