We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.
We recently launched a new ad-supported tier to offer our members with more choice in how they consume their content. Our new tier allows us to attract new members at a lower price point, while also creating a compelling path for advertisers to reach audiences that are deeply immersed.
Our Team:
The Ads Platform team builds the advertising systems and integrations that power the delivery of ads using our world class content delivery ecosystem. We deliver ads in a manner that’s thoughtful of our members’ viewing experience and drives great outcomes for advertisers.
Our team is new and yet faced with the ambitions of building highly performant advertising systems and delivering high impact to our business by monetizing our incredible slate of content. As one of the newest entrants in the Connected TV advertising space that’s rapidly growing, we seek to build unique value propositions that differentiate Netflix from other ad-supported streaming services.
We are looking for a Product Manager in the advertising space who is excited to join us on this journey.
About the Role:
This PM will be responsible for ads experimentation and incrementality measurement products. This role will focus on building measurement products for customers that utilize various experimentation and incrementality methodologies so they can isolate the causal impact Netflix’s ad campaigns have on their media objectives. These customers include advertisers and agencies, as well as third party partners such as measurement or other ad tech vendors.
This PM will:
- Partner with engineering, user experience and data science teams to launch experimentation and incrementality measurement products that meet the needs of advertisers, agencies, third-party measurement vendors, and other ad tech providers
- Prioritize the product roadmap, managing near-term product delivery while formulating a long-term product strategy to provide the most relevant and innovative measurement to Netflix’s advertisers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in sales, solutions engineering, measurement analysts, ad operations, marketing, strategy, policy, and legal to bring products to market and increase adoption
- Be an expert on the methodologies of our growing experimentation and incrementality measurement suite, including Conversion Lift, Brand Lift, A/B Testing, Multi-armed bandit algorithms, Search Lift and Geo Lift
We’re seeking a candidate who has:
- 8+ years of Product Management experience with a proven record of successfully launching and scaling 0-1 products
- Strong experimental design & causal inference knowledge: randomization, power analysis, sample size determination, MDE, holdout methodology design, statistical significance, confidence intervals
- Ability to apply advanced causal inference methods beyond A/B testing, including multi-armed bandit theory (exploration/exploitation tradeoff, regret minimization)
- Delivered a roadmap and executed on ads experimentation and incrementality measurement products
- Has a thorough understanding of the ads measurement, conversion ingestion, and identity ecosystems, including CTV experience and familiarity with measurement
- Has experience collaborating closely with advertisers, agencies, measurement partners, and publisher sales and measurement analyst teams
- Has experience collaborating with Engineering, User Experience, Data Science, and other Product Teams

Frame your PM portfolio around platform scale
Netflix evaluates Product Managers on decisions made at scale. Before applying, rebuild your portfolio narratives around systems thinking, data-driven tradeoffs, and cross-functional alignment, not feature launches alone. Streaming infrastructure and personalization experience resonates with their hiring bar.
Confirm your visa type before applying
Netflix sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, and J-1 visas. Identify which category applies to you before reaching out to recruiters, so you can answer sponsorship questions directly and avoid delays during offer conversations.
Target roles that align with your degree field
H-1B specialty occupation requirements mean your degree must relate to the Product Manager role's scope. Degrees in computer science, information systems, or engineering typically satisfy USCIS standards for technical PM positions at software companies like Netflix.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Netflix roles
Filtering for visa-sponsoring employers manually is time-consuming. Use Migrate Mate to browse open Software Product Manager positions at Netflix alongside their sponsorship history, so you're applying to roles where sponsorship is already confirmed.
Start OPT roles with cap-gap timing in mind
If you're on F-1 OPT and starting at Netflix before the H-1B lottery, confirm your OPT end date against the October 1 H-1B activation date. Cap-gap protection extends your status if your petition is filed on time, but the window is fixed and non-negotiable.
Get your LCA certified before your start date
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can process your H-1B petition. Netflix's legal team handles this, but you should confirm LCA certification is complete before negotiating a firm start date to avoid offer reschedule complications.

How do I apply for Software Product Manager jobs at Netflix?

Which visa types does Netflix commonly sponsor for Software Product Managers?
Netflix sponsors H-1B, E-3 visa, TN visa, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1 visa, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for this role. E-3 visa is available to Australian citizens only, and TN visa applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals. If you're currently on OPT or CPT, Netflix can typically support your status while an H-1B petition is in progress.
What qualifications does Netflix expect for Software Product Manager roles?
Netflix typically looks for Product Managers with experience driving product decisions in high-scale software environments, strong data analysis capability, and a track record of aligning engineering and design teams around measurable outcomes. For visa eligibility purposes, a bachelor's degree or higher in a technical or business field directly related to the role is also required to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation standards.
How do I time my application if my work authorization is expiring soon?
If you're on OPT with less than six months remaining, prioritize companies with established H-1B sponsorship infrastructure like Netflix, and aim to have an offer in hand before the H-1B registration window in March. USCIS typically opens H-1B registration in early March for an October 1 start. If selected in the lottery, your employer has until late June to file the full petition.
