Frame your PM portfolio around Adobe's product suite
Adobe recruits Software PMs who can speak directly to document intelligence, digital experience platforms, or creative cloud workflows. Tailor your case studies to show experience with SaaS product lifecycle management, not just general agile delivery.
Distinguish between Adobe's internal transfer and external hiring
Adobe frequently files H-1B petitions for both new external hires and internal transfers from overseas entities. If you're already employed at a multinational, an L-1 visa to H-1B conversion pathway through Adobe may be faster than applying from scratch.
Target roles explicitly labeled as visa-sponsorship eligible
Use Migrate Mate to filter Software Product Manager openings at Adobe by visa type, so you're only pursuing roles where sponsorship has been confirmed, rather than spending weeks on positions that exclude international candidates at the offer stage.
Prepare your credentials before the offer window closes
Adobe's hiring moves quickly once an offer is extended. Have your degree equivalency evaluated in advance if you hold a three-year bachelor's degree, since USCIS requires the specialty occupation standard to be met before the I-129 petition is filed.
Understand how Adobe handles H-1B cap timing
Cap-subject H-1B filings must be submitted by early April for an October 1 start date. If you receive an Adobe offer in late spring, confirm whether the role qualifies for cap-exempt filing through a partner institution or whether you'll need to wait for the next lottery cycle.
Confirm the LCA prevailing wage tier during offer negotiation
Adobe files Labor Condition Applications with DOL before submitting any H-1B petition. The LCA locks in the prevailing wage level for your specific location and role title, so verify that your offered salary meets or exceeds the certified wage before signing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Software Product Managers?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Software Product Manager roles. The company files petitions for both cap-subject candidates entering the H-1B lottery and cap-exempt transfers where applicable. Because H-1B selection is not guaranteed, Adobe typically factors lottery timing into offer start dates and may extend conditional offers pending registration results.
How do I apply for Software Product Manager jobs at Adobe?
Applications go through Adobe's careers site, where Software Product Manager roles are listed by product area, including Experience Cloud, Creative Cloud, and Document Cloud. Migrate Mate surfaces these openings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can identify roles where Adobe has confirmed it will sponsor before investing time in the application process.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly use for Software Product Manager hires?
Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for most Software PM hires from countries without a dedicated treaty visa. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3 visa, which bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely. Canadian nationals may qualify under the TN visa. Adobe also supports F-1 OPT extensions and STEM OPT for recent graduates, and can sponsor EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term hires.
What qualifications does Adobe expect for sponsored Software Product Manager roles?
Adobe's Software PM roles typically require a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, which aligns with USCIS specialty occupation requirements for H-1B eligibility. Practical experience shipping SaaS or enterprise software products matters significantly. Roles aligned with Adobe's AI and machine learning initiatives increasingly favor candidates with hands-on experience in data-driven product development or platform integrations.
How do I think about the timeline from offer to visa approval at Adobe?
For H-1B, count on a minimum of six months from offer to work authorization if you need to go through the lottery, with an October 1 start date as the earliest possible. E-3 and TN visas can move faster, often within four to eight weeks of the offer. Adobe's immigration team typically coordinates with outside counsel to manage DOL Labor Condition Application filing before the USCIS petition is submitted.
