From Generative AI to healthcare research applications to accelerated graphics, the need for advanced perception and cognitive capabilities is rapidly proliferating. Want to be a part of this groundswell? Join our team!
We are seeking a Senior Software Product Manager to join the Product/Partner Management team to help define and create system software, tools and applications to enhance value and drive adoption of local AI solutions. With AI and agentic workflows increasingly integrated into traditional and new workflows, the demands for GPU compute and token creation are growing. You will drive the discovery of pertinent use cases and develop novel solutions to enhance the value of our local AI portfolio. This requires passion for solving customer challenges, working with leading-edge technology, and building products that delight while making good business sense.
What you’ll be doing:
- Identify and build premier user experiences on local AI platforms through software–from firmware level to the application layer.
- Lead the complete software lifecycle from requirements gathering to development to go-to-market.
- Engage with customers to understand business needs, pain points, and critical use cases.
- Lead multi-functional teams across engineering, partners, sales, and marketing.
- Communicate value proposition and product positioning to broad audiences.
- Establish KPIs to measure product performance (and competition)
What we need to see:
- BS in engineering, computer science (or equivalent experience); MBA/MS degree preferred.
- 12+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time on AI/ML, developer tools, or infrastructure products.
- Deep understanding of software development and data science/AI workflows in Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience taking products through full life-cycle; from inception to launch to sustained feature roadmaps.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation abilities.
- Strong analytical, marketing, and project management skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Desire to learn and digest new concepts.
- Hands-on experience with building local AI/agentic tools and workflows.
- Outstanding balance of deep technical and business knowledge.
- Understanding of CPU/GPU architecture and cloud/data center platforms.

Align your portfolio to NVIDIA's product domains
NVIDIA hires Software Product Managers for specific platforms like CUDA, DGX, and AI Enterprise. Tailor your resume and portfolio to show product lifecycle ownership in GPU computing, developer tools, or AI infrastructure rather than general software products.
Clarify your visa category before applying
NVIDIA sponsors H-1B, E-3, and EB-2 or EB-3 pathways. If you're Australian, the E-3 bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely. Confirm which category fits your nationality and background before your first recruiter conversation so you can speak to it confidently.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation early
For H-1B eligibility, USCIS requires that the role qualifies as a specialty occupation. Gather your degree transcripts, any equivalency evaluations, and evidence that your field of study directly supports product management in semiconductor or AI software domains.
Ask about LCA timing during the offer stage
NVIDIA must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before submitting your H-1B or E-3 petition. During offer negotiations, ask the recruiting team where they are in that process so you can plan your start date around realistic government processing windows.
Target NVIDIA's enterprise software product groups directly
NVIDIA's most active Software Product Manager hiring sits within its data center, networking, and AI software divisions. Applying to postings under those business units, rather than hardware-adjacent roles, increases the likelihood of landing in a group with established sponsorship workflows.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active NVIDIA openings
NVIDIA posts Software Product Manager roles across multiple business units, and availability shifts quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for NVIDIA positions that include visa sponsorship, so you're applying to verified openings rather than guessing from the main careers page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does NVIDIA sponsor H-1B visas for Software Product Managers?
Yes, NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for Software Product Manager roles. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards given the technical depth required, usually a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a closely related field. Your employer will file the H-1B petition on your behalf after securing a certified Labor Condition Application from DOL.
Which visa types does NVIDIA commonly sponsor for Software Product Manager roles?
NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for most international hires and E-3 visas for Australian citizens, which have no annual lottery. For longer-term pathways, NVIDIA also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, which typically becomes available after you've established yourself in the role. The right pathway depends on your nationality, degree, and career stage.
What qualifications does NVIDIA expect for Software Product Manager roles?
NVIDIA's Software Product Manager postings typically require a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a technical discipline, along with hands-on experience shipping software products in AI, cloud, or developer platform environments. Many roles also expect familiarity with GPU computing, CUDA programming, or enterprise software deployment at scale. An MBA is sometimes listed as preferred but rarely required.
How do I apply for Software Product Manager jobs at NVIDIA?
Apply through NVIDIA's careers portal or through Migrate Mate, which filters for NVIDIA roles that include visa sponsorship. Before applying, review the specific business unit the role sits in, as NVIDIA's data center, AI software, and developer relations teams each have distinct product scopes. Tailor your application to the platform or product line named in the posting rather than sending a generic resume.
How do I plan my timeline for H-1B sponsorship at NVIDIA?
H-1B cap-subject filings open in March each year for an October 1 start date, so timing your offer relative to that window matters. If you're selected in the lottery, USCIS processing runs several months. NVIDIA has experience managing this cycle, but you should confirm your preferred start date with the recruiting team early so both sides can plan around DOL and USCIS timelines realistically.
