Align your background with Adobe's operations stack
Adobe's Operations roles increasingly require fluency in tools like Workday, Coupa, or Salesforce. Tailor your resume to reflect hands-on experience with enterprise systems, not just process management, to pass Adobe's technical screening for these positions.
Target roles that map to specialty occupation criteria
H-1B eligibility requires your Operations role to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. Focus on positions with specific degree requirements listed in the job description, such as Supply Chain Analyst or Business Operations Manager, rather than generalist coordinator titles.
Time your application around Adobe's fiscal hiring cycles
Adobe's Operations teams tend to ramp hiring ahead of its fiscal Q1 and Q3 starts. Applying in those windows improves your odds of receiving an offer early enough to file an H-1B petition before the April 1 USCIS deadline.
Confirm your OPT or CPT authorization covers the role start date
Adobe hires F-1 candidates on OPT and CPT for Operations internships and full-time roles. Verify your OPT end date and any STEM extension eligibility before accepting an offer, since your authorization must remain valid through onboarding and E-Verify completion.
Prepare for Adobe's PERM-based green card process early
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, Adobe typically initiates PERM labor certification after you've been in role for at least a year. Understand that DOL's PERM processing timeline currently runs many months, so factor this into your long-term status planning.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Operations roles at Adobe
Adobe regularly posts Operations positions that include visa sponsorship, but they're not always easy to filter on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to browse Adobe's current sponsorship-eligible Operations openings and identify which visa types align with your specific situation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Operations roles?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Operations positions. The role must meet USCIS specialty occupation standards, meaning it typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field directly related to the position. Roles like Business Operations Analyst, Procurement Manager, or Supply Chain Strategist have historically met that bar at Adobe.
How do I apply for Operations jobs at Adobe?
You can search Adobe's careers site directly or use Migrate Mate to filter for Operations roles at Adobe that include visa sponsorship. When applying, highlight relevant enterprise tools, cross-functional project experience, and any previous work authorization history. Adobe's Operations hiring process typically includes a recruiter screen, a case study or take-home exercise, and multiple panel interviews.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly use for Operations hires?
Adobe sponsors H-1B, E-3 visa, TN visa, and J-1 visas for Operations roles, and also works with F-1 candidates on OPT and CPT. Australian citizens are well-positioned through the E-3 pathway, which has no lottery. Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying Operations roles may be eligible for TN visa status. For longer-term sponsorship, Adobe also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions.
What qualifications does Adobe expect for sponsored Operations positions?
Most Operations roles at Adobe require a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, information systems, or a related field. Senior positions often expect experience with enterprise resource planning platforms, cross-functional program management, and data-driven decision making. For H-1B purposes, the degree field should align directly with the role's core responsibilities, not just broadly with business.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship to work at Adobe?
If you need an H-1B, you must receive a job offer before April 1 for work authorization to begin October 1 of the same year. That means targeting Adobe Operations roles in the late fall through early spring. If you're currently on F-1 OPT, you can start work before the H-1B takes effect, provided your OPT authorization remains valid and Adobe files your petition in the April window.
