INTRODUCTION
The opportunity
Adobe Design is looking for a design leader who is energized to lead through ambiguity and transformation: a visionary who can help shape how people access knowledge and information while on the go, every day from their mobile devices.
You will lead and shape design strategy across Acrobat's mobile surfaces, evolving some of Adobe's most successful products while creating the conditions for your team to completely reinvent them. Document Cloud is Adobe's fastest-growing cloud, reaching over 650 million monthly active users through products including Acrobat, Sign, and Scan. Our legacy of innovation speaks for itself: TIME's Best Invention two years running, and a Fast Company top 10 spot in Applied AI for 2026.
You are the kind of leader people want to follow. You build environments where designers develop strong points of view, feel safe taking creative risks, and grow into the best versions of themselves. You know that the work only gets better when the people doing it feel seen, challenged, and genuinely supported.
This is not a role for someone who needs the path clear before they start moving. It is for a design leader who inspires while rallying others, thrives in ambiguity, brings rigor to big ideas, and can hold complex systems and the human moment at the same time.
If you are ready to influence how the world works at scale, invest deeply in the people who will help get it there, and leave something lasting behind, we would love to meet you.

-
A curiosity about how people discover, adopt, and get value from products on mobile, and a desire to influence that full arc through design.

Frame your portfolio around Adobe's product lines
Adobe hires Product Owners to work on platforms like Experience Cloud, Creative Cloud, and Document Cloud. Tailor your case studies to show cross-functional ownership, data-driven prioritization, and enterprise SaaS experience rather than generic agile delivery examples.
Target roles classified as specialty occupations
H-1B eligibility requires your role to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. Product Owner positions at Adobe that require a bachelor's degree in a specific technical or business field clear this bar more cleanly than generalist program manager titles.
Time your application around H-1B cap registration
USCIS opens H-1B cap registration in March each year, with an October 1 start date. If you receive an Adobe offer in mid-year, ask HR early whether cap-exempt filing or a bridging arrangement on your current status is possible.
Use OPT STEM extension strategically if you're on F-1
F-1 holders with STEM degrees can work up to three years on OPT before needing an H-1B transfer. Adobe is E-Verify enrolled, which is required for STEM OPT authorization, so confirm your offer letter specifies the qualifying STEM role code.
Research open Product Owner roles on Migrate Mate
Filter Adobe's active Product Owner openings by visa type on Migrate Mate to identify which roles are actively sponsored and which teams are hiring. This helps you prioritize applications to positions where sponsorship is already in motion rather than negotiating it from scratch.
Clarify LCA filing timelines before accepting an offer
Adobe's legal team must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting your H-1B or E-3 petition. Ask your recruiter which internal team handles immigration and whether LCA preparation begins immediately after offer acceptance to avoid delays in your start date.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Product Owners?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Product Owner roles. Adobe participates in annual H-1B cap registration through USCIS and files petitions for approved candidates. Because selection is determined by lottery when registrations exceed the cap, timing your offer to align with the March registration window improves your chances of an October 1 start date.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly sponsor for Product Owners?
Adobe sponsors H-1B, E-3 visa (for Australian citizens), TN visa (for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying NAFTA categories), L-1 visa for internal transfers, and immigrant visa categories including EB-2 and EB-3 for Green Card sponsorship. F-1 OPT and CPT are also supported, particularly for candidates in STEM-eligible degree programs joining from universities.
What qualifications does Adobe expect for Product Owner roles?
Adobe typically looks for a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field, combined with hands-on experience owning a product backlog in an enterprise SaaS environment. Experience with analytics platforms, API-driven products, or digital experience tools is particularly relevant given Adobe's product focus. Demonstrated cross-functional leadership matters as much as technical fluency.
How do I apply for Product Owner jobs at Adobe?
Start by browsing open Product Owner positions directly or through Migrate Mate, which filters Adobe's listings by visa sponsorship type so you can focus on roles aligned with your immigration status. When applying, tailor your resume to Adobe's specific platforms and flag your visa situation early in recruiter conversations so sponsorship logistics don't surface late in the process.
How do I plan my timeline if Adobe sponsors my visa?
For H-1B, registration opens in March and work authorization begins October 1 at the earliest, so factor a six-plus month gap into your planning. E-3 petitions for Australian citizens can be processed directly at a U.S. consulate in roughly two to four weeks. TN status for Canadian nationals can be obtained at a port of entry. Ask Adobe's HR team which pathway applies to you and when LCA preparation will begin.
