INTRODUCTION
Adobe's Partnerships organization drives growth and access to new technology by partnering with top tech companies. This role leads Partnerships Strategy & Operations, a team of highly motivated strategy specialists that acts as the accelerant for the Partnerships organization. You'll own two connected mandates: Define strategy by identifying high-impact opportunities and crafting the frameworks the Partnerships team follows. Also, drive insights and operational excellence by tracking performance and managing the budget, headcount, and goals and achievements rhythms.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy: Lead the "top of the funnel" and "see around corners." Anticipate high-impact opportunities aligned to Adobe's product priorities. Set category strategy and prioritization for the rest of the Partnerships team to complete. Keep the strategy aligned to the company's priorities through annual Interlocks and QBRs. Feed collaborative insights back as input to Adobe's broader strategy and prioritization.
Insights & Operations: Track partnership metrics and derive insights to iterate on strategy. Define and track Corporate Partnerships OKRs; own budget tracking, headcount planning, and resource reallocation; design end-to-end partnership processes that keep the group aligned and efficient.
Leadership & Communication: Manage and develop the team, coaching it to turn analyses into actionable recommendations, and persuasively communicate the partnerships strategy and plan to cross-functional teams and executives.

- Experience building and leading high-performing teams.

Frame your experience around product strategy
Adobe recruits Strategy Managers with backgrounds in SaaS, digital media, or platform businesses. Align your resume and cover letter to Adobe's core product lines, like Creative Cloud or Experience Cloud, not generic corporate strategy.
Target teams with active headcount early
Adobe's Strategy Manager openings cluster around product launches and fiscal planning cycles. Roles posted in Q4 and Q1 often reflect approved headcount, which improves your chances of a sponsored offer moving quickly through internal approval.
Confirm visa eligibility before your final interview
Adobe sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT for this role. Before your final round, confirm which category applies to your nationality and whether your OPT or grace period timeline aligns with Adobe's typical offer-to-start window.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation thoroughly
USCIS scrutinizes Strategy Manager H-1B petitions because the role title can seem broad. Gather evidence that your specific duties require a directly related bachelor's degree or higher, and that Adobe's job description reflects that standard.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified Adobe openings
Strategy Manager roles at Adobe don't always appear on general job boards with accurate sponsorship details. Use Migrate Mate to browse Adobe listings confirmed for visa sponsorship so you're applying where sponsorship is already on the table.
Negotiate your start date around H-1B cap deadlines
If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, USCIS registration opens in March with an October 1 employment start. Work backward from that date when negotiating your offer to avoid a gap in work authorization.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Strategy Managers?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Strategy Manager roles. Because the position title can appear generalist, Adobe's legal team typically documents the role as requiring specialized knowledge in areas like product strategy, market analysis, or enterprise software. Ensuring your job description reflects a specific degree requirement in a related field strengthens the petition.
How do I apply for Strategy Manager jobs at Adobe?
Applications go through Adobe's careers portal, where Strategy Manager roles are listed by business unit, including Digital Media, Digital Experience, and corporate functions. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse Adobe's open Strategy Manager positions filtered for visa sponsorship eligibility, which saves time screening roles that won't lead to a sponsored offer.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly use for Strategy Manager roles?
Adobe sponsors H-1B for most nationalities, E-3 visa for Australian citizens, and TN visa for Canadian and Mexican nationals with qualifying degrees. F-1 OPT and CPT are also supported for students transitioning from university programs. If you're on OPT, Adobe can bridge you to an H-1B petition if your STEM extension window aligns with the cap registration cycle.
What qualifications does Adobe look for in a Strategy Manager?
Adobe typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field, with an MBA preferred for senior-track roles. Practical experience in SaaS business strategy, financial modeling, or go-to-market planning carries significant weight. Familiarity with Adobe's product ecosystem or the broader digital experience and creative software market strengthens your candidacy noticeably.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship for a Strategy Manager role at Adobe?
If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, factor in that USCIS registration opens each March and employment can't begin before October 1. Adobe typically needs several weeks to prepare and file a petition after an offer is accepted. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your expiration date against this timeline before accepting an offer to avoid an unauthorized gap in employment.
