JOB DESCRIPTION
About the Team
The JPMorganChase Private Bank Digital Team is dedicated to designing and delivering world-class digital experiences for our clients and advisors. We sit at the intersection of technology, design, and strategy — building products that simplify complexity, deepen relationships, and set the standard for digital wealth management. Our mission is to create cohesive, intuitive, and innovative digital solutions that empower both clients and the advisors who serve them.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sr Associate Product Manager to join our Digital Team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the end-to-end product development process, helping to shape and deliver seamless digital experiences for Private Bank clients and advisors. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in design, engineering, data & analytics, and business stakeholders to translate strategic vision into impactful products.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about building great user experiences, energized by the product lifecycle, and curious about the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in wealth management.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Execution: Partner with senior product managers and stakeholders to support the full product development lifecycle — from discovery and ideation through delivery and iteration. Help define product requirements, write user stories, and maintain a well-groomed backlog. Coordinate across engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
Client & Advisor Experience: Champion the end-user perspective by synthesizing client and advisor feedback, analyzing usage data, and identifying opportunities to improve digital experiences. Contribute to the creation of cohesive journeys that bridge client-facing and advisor-facing platforms.
AI & Innovation: Stay current on advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging digital technologies. Identify and advocate for opportunities to integrate AI-driven capabilities — such as personalization, intelligent workflows, and predictive insights — into our product roadmap.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, technology, data science, compliance, and business partners to align on priorities and deliver integrated solutions. Communicate product updates, trade-offs, and progress clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Analytics & Insights: Leverage data and analytics to inform product decisions, measure feature performance, and support a culture of continuous improvement. Help define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that reflect product health and user satisfaction.
Qualifications
Required: A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in product management, digital strategy, consulting, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. A genuine passion for building exceptional user experiences and a strong sense of product intuition. Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Design, or a related discipline.
Preferred: Experience working in financial services, wealth management, or fintech. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Exposure to or strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and their applications in digital products. Experience with user research, A/B testing, or design thinking frameworks. MBA or advanced degree is a plus but not required.
What We Offer
An opportunity to shape the digital future of one of the world's most prestigious private banks. A collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team culture. Exposure to cutting-edge technology and AI initiatives. Career growth and mentorship within JPMorganChase's global network.

Align your credentials to financial technology
JPMorganChase Product Owner roles consistently require demonstrated experience with Agile delivery in regulated industries. Before applying, document projects where you owned backlogs, defined acceptance criteria, and shipped features in compliance-heavy environments like payments, lending, or risk management.
Target teams within Chase's digital products
Roles embedded in consumer banking, commercial payments, or fraud technology move faster through internal approvals than generalist enterprise IT positions. Search for Product Owner openings tied to specific product lines rather than broad technology transformation programs.
Clarify sponsorship eligibility before the offer stage
Ask your recruiter directly which visa categories are available for the specific role during the first interview round, not after receiving an offer. JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, E-3, and H-1B1 visas, and the applicable category depends on your nationality and the team's budget cycle.
Understand how H-1B timing affects your start date
If you need a new H-1B cap-subject petition, USCIS only accepts filings in April for an October 1 start. Structure your job search timeline around this window so your offer aligns with when JPMorganChase can actually file.
Build your Product Owner profile for Migrate Mate
Filter for Product Owner roles at JPMorganChase that actively list visa sponsorship using Migrate Mate. It surfaces sponsorship-confirmed openings so you're not spending time on roles where sponsorship is uncertain before you've even applied.
Prepare for PERM if you're targeting permanent residency
JPMorganChase sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards through PERM labor certification filed with the DOL. If long-term U.S. residency is your goal, ask your hiring manager early whether the role is eligible, since PERM timelines can run two or more years.

Find Product Owner at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Product Owners?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Product Owner roles. The company participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery each spring, so roles requiring a new cap-subject petition have an October 1 start date at the earliest. If you're already on H-1B status with another employer, JPMorganChase can file an H-1B transfer, which lets you start sooner without waiting for the next cap window.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly use for Product Owner roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Product Owners, depending on your nationality. Australian citizens are eligible for the E-3, which has no lottery and is significantly easier to obtain. Chilean and Singaporean nationals may qualify for the H-1B1. For permanent residency, JPMorganChase also sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards through PERM labor certification with the DOL.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for a sponsored Product Owner role?
JPMorganChase typically expects Product Owners to have experience leading Agile or Scrum teams, owning a product backlog, and delivering in regulated or compliance-driven environments. Roles in payments, risk, or digital banking often require familiarity with financial services workflows. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is generally required for H-1B specialty occupation eligibility, and advanced degrees strengthen EB-2 petitions.
How do I apply for Product Owner jobs at JPMorganChase?
Apply directly through JPMorganChase's careers portal, or use Migrate Mate to browse Product Owner openings at JPMorganChase that are confirmed to offer visa sponsorship. When you apply, tailor your resume to reflect Agile delivery experience and domain knowledge relevant to the specific team. Follow up with your recruiter early in the process to confirm which visa categories the role supports before advancing to final rounds.
How do I know if my Product Owner offer at JPMorganChase will lead to a timely visa filing?
Once you have a verbal offer, ask the recruiter which visa category applies and whether the team has budget approved for the current fiscal year. H-1B cap-subject filings happen once a year in April for October starts, so an offer extended in mid-summer may mean a wait of several months. H-1B transfers, E-3s, and H-1B1s can be filed year-round and move faster.
