Frame your portfolio around Adobe's product lines
Adobe hires Technical PMs across Creative Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Document Cloud. Tailor your case studies to show experience managing APIs, platform integrations, or data-driven product features that align with these specific product areas.
Target roles tied to active LCA filings
Adobe files Labor Condition Applications with the DOL before sponsoring any H-1B. Roles with active LCAs are further along in the sponsorship pipeline, so prioritizing those positions reduces the risk of pursuing a role that stalls before filing.
Clarify sponsorship scope before your final interview
Adobe distinguishes between cap-subject H-1B sponsorship and cap-exempt transfers. If you're already on an H-1B with another employer, confirm whether your offer would use a transfer or require lottery registration before accepting.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Adobe TPM openings by visa type
Adobe posts Technical Product Manager roles across multiple locations with varying sponsorship eligibility. Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically by visa category so you're only spending time on roles that match your current status.
Align your degree field to the specialty occupation standard
USCIS requires a direct relationship between your degree and the Technical PM role. For Adobe, a background in computer science, information systems, or engineering carries more weight than a general business degree when supporting the specialty occupation determination.

Find Technical Product Manager at Adobe JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Technical Product Managers?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Technical Product Manager roles. Adobe participates in the annual H-1B lottery for cap-subject candidates and also supports H-1B transfers for those already holding valid status with another employer. The sponsorship process involves Adobe filing a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and then submitting the H-1B petition to USCIS on your behalf.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly use for Technical Product Manager roles?
Adobe sponsors a range of visa categories for Technical PMs, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for students completing U.S. degrees, and J-1 for eligible exchange visitors. For longer-term pathways, Adobe also supports EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa petitions leading to a Green Card.
How do I apply for Technical Product Manager jobs at Adobe?
You can browse and apply for Technical Product Manager positions directly through Adobe's careers portal. To find roles that match your visa status, Migrate Mate filters Adobe's open Technical PM positions by visa type so you can focus only on roles where your sponsorship category is supported. Applying with a tailored resume that reflects Adobe's specific product areas, such as Experience Cloud or Creative Cloud, improves your chances of clearing the initial screen.
What qualifications does Adobe typically look for in Technical Product Manager candidates?
Adobe generally expects Technical PM candidates to have a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a closely related technical field, combined with hands-on experience in software product development. Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, or enterprise SaaS products is common across their job descriptions. USCIS also requires the degree to be directly relevant to the role for H-1B specialty occupation eligibility, so a technical background matters beyond just the hiring decision.
How do I plan my timeline if Adobe is sponsoring my H-1B?
The H-1B cap registration window typically opens in March, with employment starting no earlier than October 1 of the same year. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT end date against that timeline and check whether a 24-month STEM extension is available to bridge the gap. If you miss the lottery, Adobe also sponsors E-3 and TN visas for eligible nationals, which have no annual cap and can be filed year-round.
