Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Cloud Data Engineer Jobs at Adobe Jobs
Align your portfolio to Adobe's stack
Adobe's data engineering work centers on cloud-native pipelines, often involving Spark, Kafka, and platforms like AWS and Azure. Tailor your resume and GitHub portfolio to reflect hands-on experience with these tools before you apply.
Target teams with active pipeline work
Adobe hires Cloud Data Engineers across product analytics, Experience Platform, and marketing technology divisions. Identifying which team a role sits in helps you frame your application around the specific data infrastructure challenges they're solving.
Request H-1B filing confirmation before accepting
Before signing an offer, confirm in writing that your employer will file the H-1B petition and whether they cover premium processing. A 15-business-day USCIS premium processing upgrade removes ambiguity on your start date.
Verify your prevailing wage tier early
DOL wage levels for Cloud Data Engineers vary by metro area. Adobe offices in San Jose, San Francisco, and New York each carry different prevailing wage thresholds. Knowing your tier before negotiating salary prevents mismatches that can delay LCA certification.
Browse open roles through Migrate Mate
Finding Cloud Data Engineer openings at sponsors like Adobe is faster when you filter by visa type. Use Migrate Mate to surface roles at Adobe that match your visa category and target timeline, so you're not sorting through postings that won't support sponsorship.

Find Cloud Data Engineer at Adobe JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Cloud Data Engineers?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Cloud Data Engineers. The company files petitions through the standard annual lottery, with a cap-subject deadline each March for an October 1 start. If you're already on H-1B with another employer, Adobe can file an H-1B transfer, which lets you start without waiting for a new lottery cycle.
How do I apply for Cloud Data Engineer jobs at Adobe?
Apply directly through Adobe's careers portal, where Cloud Data Engineer roles are listed by team and location. Tailor your application to the specific pipeline or platform the team works on. You can also use Migrate Mate to filter Adobe's open roles by visa sponsorship type before applying, so you know upfront whether the position aligns with your immigration situation.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly sponsor for Cloud Data Engineer roles?
Adobe sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and O-1 visas for technical roles, and supports F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates. For longer-term pathways, Adobe also files PERM labor certifications to support EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions. The right category depends on your citizenship, degree level, and career stage.
What qualifications does Adobe expect for Cloud Data Engineer roles?
Adobe's Cloud Data Engineer roles typically require a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a closely related field. Hands-on experience building distributed data pipelines, working with streaming systems like Kafka or Spark, and deploying on major cloud platforms is expected. Senior roles often require experience with real-time data architecture at scale.
How do I time my application around the H-1B cap?
USCIS opens H-1B registrations in March each year for an October 1 start date. If you're on F-1 OPT, make sure your OPT expiration and any available STEM OPT extension bridge the gap. A 24-month STEM OPT extension gives you time to go through one or more lottery cycles while remaining authorized to work at Adobe.
