About The Team
We make the invisible, visible. The Strategic Business Development and Solutions Team is a hands-on unit of workflow practitioners, solution builders, and creative technologists, who live at the intersection of imagination and execution. We don’t just advise — we build, demo, and deliver real-world workflows that help enterprise customers unlock the full power of Frame.io. We’re a team of experimenters. We run tests, break things on purpose, learn fast, and bring those insights back to Product and our customers. Curiosity isn’t a soft skill here — it’s the job. Think of us as the people who turn “what if” into “what’s next”!
What You’ll Be Doing
Our ideal teammate thrives where customer experience, technical possibility, and product vision collide. The role acts as the connective tissue between pre-sales excitement and post-sales reality — translating big ideas into tangible, working solutions that customers can actually use. This role involves building, experimenting, and advising equally. You will work directly with customers, explore new AI capabilities, and guide Frame.io’s direction. We seek a person who asks thoughtful questions, experiments continuously, and improves solutions through iteration.
Your Impact
- Partner with Sales, Solution Architects and Forward Deployed Engineering to ensure customers can implement every workflow that was prioritized and promised.
- Develop, ideate, and showcase end-to-end workflows using Frame.io's extensibility as a clear driver of operational efficiency, content velocity, and cost savings. Include AI-augmented pipelines that route, classify, or transform content with LLM processing.
- Deliver proof-of-value engagements — hands-on demos, workflow prototypes, and tailored solution documentation that make customers say “yes, exactly that.”
- Run structured experiments with emerging agentic AI capabilities. Test hypotheses and detail what works and what doesn’t. Develop a point of view on where intelligent automation builds the most value for creative operations teams.
- Explore and prototype agentic workflows that automate multi-step tasks across enterprise systems. Use LLMs, tool-use APIs, and autonomous decision logic to reduce manual work and speed up content operations. Not every experiment ships, but all of them teach us something.
- Grow into a trusted advisor with alpha and beta customers — building, testing, and documenting workflows for new features before they ship, and feeding sharp, actionable feedback.
- Build sales enablement gold: playbooks, demo environments, video walkthroughs, and workflow documentation — with a growing emphasis on agentic AI use cases.
- Be a data-driven voice in the room. Use structured field intelligence and hands-on customer evidence to highlight workflow gaps. Influence the product roadmap with reproducible examples, not just gut feelings.
What You Bring
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in creative operations, post-production, digital marketing, or solutions consulting — you know how creative teams actually work.
- API workflow chops: you can architect and configure API-based integrations across complex enterprise tech stacks, including AI/ML service APIs like Adobe Firefly, OpenAI or Anthropic.
- Curiosity about agentic AI drives you, and you have enough technical knowledge to take action. You might not have shipped a production multi-agent system. However, you have tinkered with tool-calling agents, or built useful applications with an LLM or equivalent experience. You know where to begin and are eager to progress.
- Communication presence across every room: you can whiteboard workflow architecture with practitioners and deliver an AI-powered value narrative to a business leader.
- Cross-functional agility: you work well with Sales, Product and Marketing. A self-starter who can drive work forward without a lot of hand-holding.
- A genuine itch to understand how things work — and an even stronger itch to make them work better. You’re energized by ambiguity, not paralyzed by it, and you treat every customer engagement as a chance to learn something new.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.

Frame your experience around Adobe's product ecosystem
Adobe hires BDMs to drive adoption of Creative Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Document Cloud. Tailor your resume to show partnership or revenue experience within SaaS or digital marketing platforms, not just general business development credentials.
Confirm LCA filing before negotiating your offer
Before you sign, ask whether the Labor Condition Application has been filed with DOL. The LCA locks in your prevailing wage classification, which directly affects your offered salary and the visa petition timeline.
Target Adobe's enterprise and mid-market BDM tracks separately
Adobe posts BDM roles across distinct verticals including digital media and digital experience. Applying to the segment that matches your industry background improves fit signals and reduces the chance your application stalls at the recruiter stage.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Adobe BDM openings by visa type
Not every Adobe BDM listing is open to sponsorship candidates. Use Migrate Mate to surface roles where Adobe has actively sponsored the visa type you hold or need, so you apply where your profile is already a fit.
Time your application around cap-dependent visa cycles
If you need an H-1B, Adobe must file your petition before the April 1 USCIS registration window closes. Engaging Adobe's recruiting team by January gives the immigration team enough runway to prepare your case.
Prepare a degree-to-role equivalency narrative for specialty occupation review
USCIS scrutinizes BDM petitions for specialty occupation eligibility. A business, marketing, or economics degree tied clearly to Adobe's technical sales environment strengthens the petition and reduces the risk of a Request for Evidence.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Business Development Managers?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Business Development Manager roles. The position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation given the analytical, strategic, and technical sales demands of the role within Adobe's software ecosystem. Your employer's legal team files Form I-129 with USCIS after your Labor Condition Application is certified by DOL. Cap-subject candidates must be registered in the annual H-1B lottery, which opens in March.
How do I apply for Business Development Manager jobs at Adobe?
Applications go through Adobe's careers portal at adobe.com/careers. BDM roles are posted across business units including Digital Media and Digital Experience. Filter by function and location, then apply directly. If you need visa sponsorship, flag that early in the recruiter screening call. Migrate Mate also aggregates Adobe BDM listings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, which saves time if you want to prioritize roles where sponsorship is actively supported.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly sponsor for Business Development Manager roles?
Adobe sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas most commonly for BDM roles, with E-3 available exclusively to Australian citizens. F-1 OPT and CPT holders can often start without a full petition. Adobe also supports TN visa holders in qualifying USMCA occupations and has Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 labor certification (PERM) for longer-tenure employees. The right visa depends on your nationality, degree, and current immigration status.
What qualifications does Adobe expect for Business Development Manager candidates?
Adobe's BDM postings typically require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in SaaS sales, partner development, or enterprise account management. Familiarity with Adobe's product suite or the broader digital marketing technology space is a strong differentiator. Roles at the senior level often expect cross-functional collaboration experience with product, legal, and finance teams in a complex sales cycle environment.
How do I navigate the visa sponsorship timeline for a BDM role at Adobe?
Timeline depends on your visa type. E-3 and TN visas can often be processed at a U.S. consulate within weeks of receiving an offer. H-1B petitions are cap-subject, meaning USCIS registration must happen in March for an October 1 start date, creating a six-month minimum lead time. If you're already on OPT, you may be able to start sooner and file for H-1B during the next cap season. Align your offer negotiation with these filing windows.
