Frame Your PM Credentials Around Fintech Complexity
Brex evaluates Technical Project Managers on their ability to manage cross-functional engineering work in regulated financial environments. Certifications like PMP or CSPO carry more weight when paired with documented experience coordinating compliance-adjacent or API-heavy product delivery.
Target Roles Tied to Core Infrastructure Teams
Brex's open Technical Project Manager postings tend to cluster around payments infrastructure, developer tooling, and platform engineering. Applying to roles within these verticals positions you closer to teams with established sponsorship pipelines rather than newer or experimental functions.
Browse Brex Openings Directly Through Migrate Mate
Filtering for sponsorship-confirmed Technical Project Manager roles saves time you'd otherwise spend cold-applying. Use Migrate Mate to surface Brex openings where visa sponsorship is part of the hiring pattern, so you're not discovering that detail after an offer stage.
Clarify Sponsorship Type Before Accepting an Offer
Brex sponsors multiple visa categories, and which one applies to you affects your timeline significantly. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm whether Brex will file an H-1B cap petition before your OPT expires, since the April lottery window and a potential gap period need to be planned around.
Align Your Start Date to the H-1B Cap Calendar
If your offer requires an H-1B cap petition, USCIS only allows an October 1 start date for cap-subject cases. Negotiate your offer with that constraint explicit, and ask whether Brex uses premium processing to reduce the approval-to-start gap.
Verify Brex's E-Verify Enrollment Before Your Final Round
Employers sponsoring TN or OPT STEM extensions must be enrolled in E-Verify. Confirming Brex's enrollment status through the E-Verify employer search before your final interview round prevents late-stage surprises if your authorization depends on it.

Find Technical Project Manager at Brex JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Brex sponsor H-1B visas for Technical Project Managers?
Yes, Brex sponsors H-1B visas for Technical Project Manager roles. The H-1B is the most common long-term sponsorship path for this function at Brex, and the company has a consistent track record of filing cap petitions for eligible candidates. If you're currently on OPT or another nonimmigrant status, confirm the sponsorship commitment and timeline early in the offer process.
Which visa types does Brex commonly sponsor for Technical Project Manager roles?
Brex sponsors several visa categories for Technical Project Managers, including the H-1B, TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), F-1 OPT and CPT for students in active programs, and immigrant visa pathways like the EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card for longer-term sponsorship. The right path depends on your nationality, educational background, and how far along you are in your career.
How do I apply for Technical Project Manager jobs at Brex?
Apply directly through Brex's careers page or use Migrate Mate to find and filter Technical Project Manager openings at Brex where visa sponsorship is confirmed. Brex's Technical Project Manager hiring process typically includes a recruiter screen, a hiring manager conversation, and a structured loop covering cross-functional leadership, technical scoping, and delivery execution. Tailoring your materials to fintech infrastructure or payments experience strengthens your application.
What qualifications does Brex look for in Technical Project Manager candidates?
Brex looks for Technical Project Managers with experience coordinating engineering-heavy initiatives in fast-moving, cross-functional environments. A background in software development, API integrations, or financial products is a meaningful differentiator. Formal project management credentials such as PMP or Agile certifications are valued, but Brex places strong weight on demonstrated ability to drive delivery across engineering, compliance, and product teams simultaneously.
How do I time my application if my current visa status is expiring soon?
If you're on F-1 OPT, you have a 60-day grace period after employment ends, but you cannot start a new job without active work authorization. The H-1B cap lottery runs in March for an October 1 start, so gaps between OPT expiration and H-1B activation are common. Raise your timeline with Brex's recruiting team early so they can assess whether a cap petition, OPT extension, or alternative visa category fits your situation.
