Frame Your PMP Around Fintech Delivery
Brex evaluates Project Development Managers on cross-functional delivery in fast-moving financial products. Tailor your resume to show you've shipped projects with regulatory, compliance, or payment infrastructure components, not just general software delivery.
Target Brex Roles During H-1B Cap Season
Brex files H-1B cap petitions on the April 1 submission deadline. If you're not yet in H-1B status, apply to open Project Development Manager positions between January and March to align your offer timeline with USCIS registration in March.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Active Openings
Brex posts Project Development Manager roles across product, engineering, and operations verticals, and availability shifts quickly. Search Migrate Mate to filter for current openings that include visa sponsorship, so you're applying to positions that are actively hiring international candidates.
Prepare a Specialty Occupation Evidence File
For H-1B approval in a Project Development Manager role, USCIS requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation. Gather job postings, industry salary surveys from the DOL wage database, and your degree transcripts showing a field directly tied to the work.
Negotiate Offer Timing Around Filing Windows
Once you receive an offer, work with Brex's immigration team to confirm whether premium processing is available for your petition. A 15-business-day USCIS adjudication window under premium processing can prevent gaps in your authorization if you're transitioning from OPT.

Does Brex sponsor H-1B visas for Project Development Managers?
Yes, Brex sponsors H-1B visas for Project Development Manager roles. The company works with immigration counsel to file cap-subject petitions each April and supports cap-exempt transfers for candidates already holding H-1B status with another employer. If you're in the H-1B lottery process, aligning your application timeline with Brex's Q1 hiring cycle gives you the best chance of having an offer in place before USCIS registration opens in March.
Which visa types are commonly used for Project Development Manager roles at Brex?
Brex sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathways for Project Development Manager roles. F-1 candidates with STEM-eligible degrees can use the 24-month OPT extension as a bridge to H-1B sponsorship. Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or professional categories may also be eligible for TN status, which requires no USCIS petition and can be obtained at the port of entry.
How do I apply for Project Development Manager jobs at Brex?
Use Migrate Mate to find and browse Project Development Manager openings at Brex that include visa sponsorship. Once you identify a role, apply directly through Brex's careers portal. Tailor your application to highlight cross-functional project delivery in financial services or fintech environments, since Brex's hiring team looks for candidates who can manage dependencies across product, compliance, and engineering teams.
What qualifications does Brex expect for Project Development Manager candidates?
Brex typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, or a related field, combined with demonstrable experience managing complex technical or financial product initiatives. Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks, stakeholder management in regulated environments, and cross-functional coordination across engineering and compliance teams is valued. For H-1B purposes, your degree field should have a direct and logical connection to the responsibilities of the role.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship for a Brex Project Development Manager role?
If you're on F-1 OPT, you have up to 12 months of post-graduation work authorization, with a potential 24-month STEM extension if your degree qualifies. Brex would need to file your H-1B petition with USCIS by April 1 for a October 1 start date. Apply no later than January or February to allow time for the offer, Labor Condition Application filing with the DOL, and petition preparation before the registration window closes.
