Align your certifications to Deloitte's practice areas
Deloitte's cybersecurity hiring clusters around risk advisory, cloud security, and government contracts. Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or FedRAMP-adjacent credentials signal direct fit and reduce friction during the sponsorship conversation with hiring managers.
Target Deloitte's government and public sector practice
Deloitte's federal practice frequently sponsors manager-level cybersecurity roles because clearance-eligible candidates are scarce. Focusing your applications there improves your odds of reaching a team with both budget and genuine urgency to sponsor.
Search Deloitte's open roles through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Deloitte's current Cybersecurity Manager openings by visa type so you're only applying to positions where H-1B, E-3, or EB-2 sponsorship has been documented, not just assumed.
Request premium processing before your start date
Deloitte typically files H-1B petitions through its internal immigration team. Ask your recruiter early whether premium processing is included, because USCIS standard processing can run several months and delay your onboarding if your current status has a hard expiration.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation early
USCIS scrutinizes consulting-firm petitions closely because the work is often performed at client sites. Have your degree transcripts, a detailed job duties letter, and any prior approval notices ready before your employer begins the H-1B or EB-2 PERM filing.

Find Cybersecurity Manager at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Cybersecurity Managers?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Cybersecurity Managers and has one of the more established immigration support programs among consulting firms. Sponsorship is handled through Deloitte's internal immigration team in coordination with outside counsel. Manager-level roles in risk advisory and cybersecurity are regularly included, though approval depends on the specific practice area and project staffing needs at the time of your offer.
How do I apply for Cybersecurity Manager jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, but you can use Migrate Mate to identify which open Cybersecurity Manager postings are associated with visa sponsorship before applying. Deloitte's hiring process for this level typically includes an application review, recruiter screen, and a multi-round interview covering technical competency, client delivery experience, and leadership scenarios. Having a clear narrative around your domain specialization, whether cloud security, risk advisory, or federal compliance, meaningfully improves your progression through the process.
Which visa types does Deloitte sponsor for Cybersecurity Manager roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for this role depending on your nationality, and supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for longer-term employees. Australian citizens qualify for the E-3, which has no lottery and can be processed consularly. H-1B1 is available to Chilean and Singaporean nationals. All other nationalities typically rely on the H-1B cap-subject process, which means timing your job search around the March registration window matters.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for a sponsored Cybersecurity Manager role?
Deloitte generally expects a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a closely related field, plus several years of progressive cybersecurity experience in areas like threat management, identity, or cloud security. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA strengthen your profile. For sponsored roles specifically, your degree field needs to align clearly with the job duties because USCIS applies heightened scrutiny to consulting-firm H-1B petitions filed for client-site work.
How do I manage my visa timeline when negotiating a start date at Deloitte?
If you're on OPT or a previous employer's H-1B, your available grace periods and transfer rules affect how quickly you need a filed petition. For H-1B transfers, USCIS allows you to start working once Deloitte files the petition, not after approval. For cap-subject cases, you'd need to wait until October 1 of the fiscal year. Confirm with Deloitte's immigration team whether premium processing is included, since standard USCIS processing adds meaningful uncertainty to your onboarding timeline.
