Recruiting for this role ends on 6/30/2026.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Total Rewards Benefits Operate Manager, you will lead work at the intersection of H&W benefits strategy, administration operations, and enabling technology. You'll help clients and internal teams translate benefits requirements into scalable platform capabilities—understanding what leading benefits administration providers can deliver, how HCM platforms connect to those ecosystems, and what it takes to drive successful implementation and ongoing operations. This will be achieved either through use of Deloitte's proprietary BenefitIQ technology or an HCM solution as appropriate.
You'll be accountable for delivering high-quality outcomes, managing teams and stakeholders, and shaping product-enabled solutions that improve member experience, administrative efficiency, and compliance-aligned execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery workstreams supporting BenefitsIQ-enabled H&W programs (e.g., discovery, solution design, implementation support, optimization, operations readiness).
- Translate H&W benefit requirements into administration-ready designs (eligibility, enrollment, life events, evidence of insurability, deductions, billing, vendor feeds, reporting).
- Partner with product and delivery teams to define and refine platform features, configuration standards, and repeatable assets.
- Advise on end-to-end H&W administration capabilities across traditional provider platforms (e.g., enrollment experience, rules engines, eligibility, communications, carrier connectivity).
- Guide decisions on vendor/platform fit based on client context, administrative complexity, and operating model needs.
- Support operational design including SOPs, roles/responsibilities, case management, escalations, controls, and service metrics.
- Demonstrate a working understanding of core HCM concepts and integration patterns (e.g., worker/benefit event data, payroll deductions, file-based vs API, inbound/outbound feeds).
- Communicate effectively with client stakeholders (HR, Total Rewards, HRIT, Payroll, vendors) and internal leadership.
- Contribute to proposals, estimates, delivery plans, status reporting, and risk/issue management.
- Drive continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned and turning them into reusable playbooks and product backlog items.

Target service lines that align with your visa type
Deloitte's Technology, Consulting, and Advisory practices drive the bulk of its sponsored roles. If you're pursuing an H-1B or E-3, focus your applications on service lines where specialized degree requirements are clearest and sponsorship demand is highest.
Apply well before the H-1B registration window
Deloitte typically hires for sponsored roles months before the April H-1B lottery registration. Targeting open roles in late 2025 or early 2026 gives you the best chance of being included in Deloitte's annual cap-subject petition batch.
Australians should specifically ask about the E-3
Deloitte sponsors E-3 visas for Australian citizens, which avoids the H-1B lottery entirely. If you're Australian and have a qualifying specialty occupation offer, raise the E-3 option early in your recruiter conversations rather than defaulting to H-1B.
Understand that consulting roles require clear degree-to-role alignment
Deloitte operates in a specialty occupation framework where your degree field must directly support the role. Positions in audit, tax, risk advisory, and technology consulting tend to have the strongest alignment, which strengthens your visa petition's approvability.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified Deloitte openings by visa type
Deloitte posts roles across multiple business units with varying sponsorship eligibility. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and identify which Deloitte roles are actively open to international applicants.

Find Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas and is consistently one of the most active H-1B sponsors in the consulting and professional services sector. Sponsorship is most common in Technology, Consulting, and Advisory roles where specialty occupation requirements are clearly met. Deloitte participates in the annual H-1B cap registration each spring, so timing your application process accordingly is important.
Which visa types does Deloitte sponsor?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, and employment-based Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 categories. The H-1B is the most common pathway, but Australian citizens should ask about the E-3, which skips the lottery. Green Card sponsorship is available for longer-tenured employees and is handled through the PERM labor certification process.
Which roles and departments at Deloitte are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Deloitte is most concentrated in Technology, Risk Advisory, Management Consulting, and Audit and Assurance. These practices employ large numbers of workers in roles that clearly satisfy specialty occupation criteria. Roles requiring specific degrees in computer science, accounting, finance, engineering, or economics tend to have the straightforward degree-to-job alignment that strengthens a visa petition.
How do I time my application to maximize my chances of H-1B sponsorship at Deloitte?
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March each year, with employment typically starting October 1. Deloitte generally needs to identify sponsored candidates well before that window. Applying for full-time roles between October and January gives recruiters enough time to include you in the firm's cap-subject petition batch. Starting the process later in the spring significantly reduces your chances for that cycle.
How do I find open jobs at Deloitte that include visa sponsorship?
Deloitte lists roles across multiple service lines and geographic markets, and not every posting explicitly states sponsorship eligibility. Migrate Mate aggregates verified sponsor employers, including Deloitte, so you can browse current openings filtered by visa type and confirmed sponsorship history. This saves time compared to manually screening postings that may not disclose sponsorship status upfront.
