Align your stack with Deloitte's client delivery work
Deloitte's engineering roles often support client-facing implementations, not internal tooling. Tailor your resume to show experience with enterprise platforms like Salesforce, SAP, or cloud-native architectures on AWS or Azure rather than consumer product development.
Prepare degree equivalency documentation before applying
Deloitte's H-1B petitions for software engineers require a direct nexus between your degree and the role. If your degree is in a non-CS field, gather a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator before your first interview round.
Target Deloitte's USI and federal consulting divisions specifically
Deloitte's U.S. India and government consulting arms run structured engineering hiring cycles with dedicated HR teams familiar with sponsorship workflows. These divisions process visa filings more routinely than smaller practice areas, making sponsorship conversations more straightforward.
Browse open roles on Migrate Mate to filter by visa type
Deloitte posts Full-stack Software Engineer openings across multiple business units, and not all teams sponsor equally. Use Migrate Mate to surface active roles at Deloitte filtered by the visa categories you need, so you're applying where sponsorship is already confirmed.
Raise sponsorship before the offer stage, not after
Deloitte's recruiting process involves multiple stakeholders, and compensation approvals can stall if visa costs surface late. Confirm the hiring manager's practice area sponsors your visa type during the final-round interview, before the offer letter is drafted.

Find Full-stack Software Engineer at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Full-stack Software Engineers?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Full-stack Software Engineers and is one of the more active filers in the consulting sector. Sponsorship availability depends on the specific practice area and project type. Roles tied to technology consulting and digital transformation tend to have the most consistent sponsorship track record.
How do I apply for Full-stack Software Engineer jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal at deloitte.com/careers. You can also find and filter Deloitte's Full-stack Software Engineer openings by visa type on Migrate Mate, which helps you identify which roles are actively sponsoring before you apply. Expect a multi-stage process: recruiter screen, technical assessment, and one or two case or behavioral rounds.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly use for Full-stack Software Engineers?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Full-stack Software Engineers, depending on your nationality. Australian citizens are eligible for the E-3, which has no lottery and is processed year-round. For permanent residency, Deloitte files EB-2 and EB-3 petitions through the PERM labor certification process with the DOL.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for Full-stack Software Engineer roles?
Deloitte generally expects a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a closely related field, as this is required to support H-1B specialty occupation status. Hands-on experience with modern frameworks like React, Node.js, or Java is standard. Client-facing consulting experience or familiarity with enterprise systems strengthens your candidacy significantly.
How do I time my application if the H-1B cap applies to me?
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March for an April lottery, with approved petitions taking effect October 1. If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, target Deloitte's recruiting cycles between October and February to align offer timing with registration. Missing the registration window means waiting a full year for the next cap season.
