ServiceNow HRSD Solution Architect - CL5
Role Overview: As a ServiceNow HRSD Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in implementing and optimizing Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions, with a particular focus on the HR workflows, case management, and employee service centers. Your extensive experience and deep knowledge of the ServiceNow HRSD module will be pivotal in delivering solutions that meet client needs, delight users, and drive tangible value for Deloitte's business investments. You will leverage your deep expertise in ServiceNow and HRSD module to design, configure, and deploy high-quality, outcome-focused solutions. The ideal candidate will be a role model and mentor, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of ServiceNow solutions. Recruiting for this role ends on 4/26/26.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Outcome-Driven Accountability: Embrace and drive a culture of accountability for customer and business outcomes. Develop solutions that solve complex HR problems with valuable outcomes, ensuring high-quality, lean designs and implementations.
-
Technical Leadership and Advocacy: Serve as the technical advocate for ServiceNow HRSD solutions, ensuring architectural integrity, feasibility, and alignment with business and customer goals, NFRs, and applicable architecture and engineering standards—being responsible for solution architecture blueprints, high-level architecture designs, and integration architecture into the technical landscape and technology stack.

Engineering Craftsmanship: Possess passion and experience as an individual contributor, responsible for the engineering designs and technical feasibility of solutions, being hands-on with design as well as configuration part of the time, contributing to team velocity. Actively engage with engineers to ensure architecture is understood and can be implemented, working with them closely during sprints, helping resolve any technical issues through to production operations: reviewing implementations, actively driving technology debt reduction, and helping drive engineering quality. Be self-driven to learn new technologies, experiment with engineers, and inspire the team to learn and drive application of those new technologies.
-
Customer-Centric Engineering: Develop lean engineering solutions through rapid, inexpensive experimentation to solve customer needs. Engage with customers and product teams to deliver the right architectural solution in the right way at the right time.
-
Incremental and Iterative Delivery: Exhibit a mindset that favors action and evidence over extensive planning. Utilize a leaning-forward approach to navigate complexity and uncertainty, delivering lean, supportable, and maintainable solutions.
-
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Integration: Work collaboratively with empowered, cross-functional teams including product management, experience, delivery, infrastructure, and security. Integrate diverse perspectives to make well-informed decisions that balance feasibility, viability, usability, and value. Foster a collaborative environment that enhances team synergy and innovation.
-
Advanced Technical Proficiency: Possess deep expertise in modern software engineering practices and principles, including OOD/OOP, Agile methodologies, DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment. Act as a Role-Model, leveraging these techniques to optimize solutioning and product delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes with minimal waste. Demonstrate proficiency in ServiceNow HRSD implementation, from conceptualization and design to implementation and scaling, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
-
Domain Expertise: Quickly acquire domain-specific knowledge relevant to the business or implemented ServiceNow modules. Translate business/user needs and UX/UI designs into technical requirements and designs. Navigate various enterprise functions such as business and enabling areas as well as product, experience, delivery, infrastructure, and security to drive product value and feasibility as well as alignment with organizational goals.
-
Effective Communication and Influence: Exhibit exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts clearly and compellingly. Inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels through well-structured arguments and trade-offs supported by evidence, evaluations, and research. Create coherent narratives that align technical solutions with business objectives.
-
Engagement and Collaborative Co-Creation: Engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels, from team members to senior executives. Align your credentials to Deloitte's client verticals
Deloitte's Solutions Architect roles are often tied to specific industry practices like government, financial services, or healthcare. Tailor your resume and certifications to the vertical you're targeting, cloud, SAP, or Salesforce credentials carry more weight in specific practices.
Position yourself for project-based Labor Condition Applications
Deloitte files Labor Condition Applications with the DOL tied to client project locations, not just its own offices. Confirm with your recruiter which worksite address will appear on your LCA, since remote or client-site arrangements can affect prevailing wage determinations and filing timelines.
Clarify visa pathway eligibility before the offer stage
Deloitte sponsors multiple visa types for Solutions Architects. If you're Australian, ask explicitly about E-3 processing, which moves faster than the H-1B cap cycle and doesn't require lottery registration. Know which pathway fits your situation before negotiating your start date.
Target roles posted under specific technology alliances
Deloitte's Solutions Architect openings frequently appear under alliance-specific teams partnered with AWS, Microsoft, or Google Cloud. Filtering by these practice areas surfaces roles with more defined sponsorship precedents and clearer technical qualification criteria than generalist listings.
Search open Solutions Architect roles on Migrate Mate
Deloitte posts Solutions Architect positions across multiple practice areas simultaneously. Use Migrate Mate to browse current openings filtered by visa type, so you can identify which roles align with your sponsorship pathway before applying.
Prepare for USCIS specialty occupation scrutiny in consulting
USCIS has historically scrutinized H-1B petitions for consulting roles, particularly when job duties span multiple client sites. Document the direct relationship between your specific degree field and your Solutions Architect responsibilities to strengthen the specialty occupation argument in your petition.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Solutions Architects?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Solutions Architects. The firm has a dedicated immigration team that manages petitions through the annual H-1B cap cycle, including lottery registration in March. Because consulting roles have faced USCIS specialty occupation challenges historically, Deloitte's legal team typically prepares detailed job duty documentation to support each petition.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly sponsor for Solutions Architect roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, and E-3 visas for Solutions Architects at the nonimmigrant level. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, the firm supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways, which generally require PERM labor certification filed with the DOL. The right pathway depends on your nationality, degree, and career stage.
How do I apply for Solutions Architect jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, where roles are listed by practice area and technology alliance. Filtering by relevant cloud platforms or industry verticals narrows results to the most relevant openings. You can also browse current Deloitte Solutions Architect postings filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate before applying directly through Deloitte's site.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for Solutions Architect roles?
Most Solutions Architect roles at Deloitte require a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related engineering field, along with hands-on implementation experience in a major cloud or enterprise platform. Client-facing consulting experience is a strong differentiator. Alliance-specific certifications from AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud are frequently listed as preferred or required qualifications.
How do I plan my timeline around Deloitte's H-1B sponsorship process?
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March for an October 1 start date. To meet that window, you'd need an offer from Deloitte well before the registration period closes. If you miss the cap cycle, options include E-3 status if you're Australian, or remaining in OPT or another valid status until the next cycle. USCIS premium processing can reduce approval wait times to 15 business days once a petition is filed.
