Align your portfolio to Molex's vertical markets
Molex serves industrial and commercial clients where solutions architecture means translating hardware ecosystems into business outcomes. Before applying, reframe your experience around supply chain connectivity, retail tech integration, or manufacturing systems to match how Molex defines the role.
Verify your OPT STEM extension eligibility early
Solutions Architect roles at Molex often fall under STEM-qualifying SOC codes. Confirm your degree and job duties align before accepting an offer, since USCIS requires the employer to be enrolled in E-Verify for STEM OPT authorization to proceed.
Prepare documentation that bridges technical and business scope
Molex's H-1B petitions for Solutions Architects need to establish specialty occupation status. Gather evidence that your role requires a specific bachelor's degree field, not just general technical knowledge, since generalist job descriptions are a common RFE trigger.
Target open requisitions tied to specific business units
Molex posts Solutions Architect roles across distinct product divisions. Applying to a requisition tied to a specific vertical, such as data solutions or connector systems, strengthens your fit narrative and gives recruiters a clearer path to justifying sponsorship internally.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active Molex openings filtered by visa type
Molex sponsors across multiple visa categories for this role. Migrate Mate lets you filter Solutions Architect positions by sponsorship type so you're applying to roles already aligned with your immigration status, saving time and reducing the risk of a late-stage sponsorship conversation.
Understand PERM timing before negotiating your start date
If Molex moves you toward an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathway, DOL's PERM labor certification adds months before an I-140 can be filed. Factor this into your start date negotiation so your H-1B cap-gap or status doesn't lapse while the process is in motion.

Find Solutions Architect at Molex JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Molex sponsor H-1B visas for Solutions Architects?
Yes, Molex sponsors H-1B visas for Solutions Architect roles. The company has an established pattern of filing H-1B petitions for technical positions, including solutions and systems architecture functions. If you're in H-1B status or going through the annual lottery, Molex's consistent sponsorship activity for this role category makes it a realistic target.
How do I apply for Solutions Architect jobs at Molex?
Applications go through Molex's careers portal, where roles are posted by business unit and region. To find positions already flagged for visa sponsorship, Migrate Mate aggregates open Molex Solutions Architect listings and filters by sponsorship type, which helps you identify the right requisitions before applying directly through the company.
Which visa types does Molex commonly use for Solutions Architect roles?
Molex sponsors across several categories for this function, including H-1B, F-1 OPT and CPT, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, J-1, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and where you are in the immigration process at the time of hire.
What qualifications does Molex expect for a Solutions Architect role?
Molex typically looks for a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical field, combined with hands-on experience designing or implementing enterprise connectivity solutions. For H-1B purposes, your degree field needs to directly relate to the job duties, so roles that blend sales and architecture may require additional documentation to establish specialty occupation status.
How do I time my application if my OPT or H-1B status is expiring soon?
If your OPT is expiring, confirm whether the role qualifies for STEM extension and that Molex participates in E-Verify before your final semester. For H-1B holders between jobs, you have a 60-day grace period to secure a new sponsor. Molex's willingness to file across multiple visa types gives you flexibility, but start the conversation with recruiters about your timeline before accepting an offer.
