Align your architecture credentials with financial services
JPMorganChase Solutions Architect roles typically require experience with cloud platforms, API integration, or enterprise system design in regulated industries. Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP carry weight, especially when your portfolio shows work in compliance-sensitive environments.
Target divisions with active infrastructure buildouts
JPMorganChase's technology modernization efforts are concentrated in commercial banking and corporate technology. Applying to roles tied to those divisions increases your odds of landing a team that has approved visa filings for Solutions Architects before.
Use Migrate Mate to find open visa-sponsoring roles
Identifying which JPMorganChase Solutions Architect postings explicitly support visa sponsorship saves significant time. Migrate Mate filters open roles by sponsorship history so you're targeting positions with a real path forward, not guessing from job descriptions.
Clarify your visa category early in recruiter conversations
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, E-3, and H-1B1 visas for qualifying roles. Telling your recruiter your current status and which visa category applies helps their immigration team assess timeline fit before an offer is extended, avoiding delays at the offer stage.
Prepare for an LCA-driven salary benchmark
Before JPMorganChase can file your H-1B or E-3 petition, the employer must submit a Labor Condition Application to the DOL certifying your offered wage meets the prevailing wage level. Knowing the wage tiers for your metro area helps you negotiate from an informed position.
Plan around the H-1B cap if you're not already in status
If you're on OPT and JPMorganChase extends an offer, the April lottery registration window and October 1 start date are fixed by USCIS. Confirm your OPT expiration and any STEM extension eligibility before signing so your employment authorization bridges the gap without interruption.

Find Solutions Architect at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Solutions Architects?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Solutions Architect roles. The company has a well-established immigration program and regularly files petitions for technology positions across its divisions. Sponsorship is typically handled through the company's internal legal team, so once you receive an offer, the process is coordinated internally rather than requiring you to find outside counsel.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly use for Solutions Architect roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Solutions Architects, covering candidates from most countries, Singapore and Chile specifically for H-1B1, and Australia for the E-3. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, the company also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways, which typically begin after a period of employment.
How do I apply for Solutions Architect jobs at JPMorganChase?
You can search for open Solutions Architect roles directly on JPMorganChase's careers site or use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for positions with confirmed visa sponsorship. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect enterprise architecture experience relevant to financial services, and note your visa status in early recruiter conversations so sponsorship eligibility can be confirmed before the process advances.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Solutions Architect roles?
JPMorganChase typically looks for a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, which also satisfies the specialty occupation requirement for H-1B and E-3 sponsorship. Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, systems integration, or enterprise architecture in a regulated industry strengthens your application considerably. Practical experience in financial services or similarly complex enterprise environments is a consistent differentiator.
How do I navigate the visa filing timeline after receiving an offer from JPMorganChase?
Timeline depends heavily on your current visa status. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, JPMorganChase must register you in the USCIS lottery, which runs in March for an October start. If you're transferring an existing H-1B, filing can happen year-round and work authorization continues under portability rules while the petition is pending. For E-3 applicants, consular processing typically moves faster since there's no cap or lottery.
