Align your portfolio to financial products
JPMorganChase evaluates product managers on experience with regulated, complex product ecosystems. Frame your portfolio around payments, lending, trading platforms, or consumer banking rather than generic SaaS or consumer tech.
Target roles inside specific lines of business
JPMorganChase's product management hiring runs through distinct business units like Chase Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking, and the Corporate Investment Bank. Applying to the right division sharpens your fit and gets your application in front of the relevant hiring team faster.
Clarify E-3 or H-1B1 eligibility before applying
JPMorganChase sponsors both the E-3 for Australian citizens and the H-1B1 visa for Chilean and Singaporean nationals. These visas bypass the H-1B lottery entirely, so flag your nationality in recruiter conversations early to avoid being funneled into the wrong sponsorship track.
Prepare for a specialty occupation demonstration
For H-1B petitions, USCIS requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation. Product management titles with broad scope can draw scrutiny, so request a role-specific job description from your recruiter that ties the position to a defined technical or business discipline.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by visa type
JPMorganChase posts Manager, Product Management openings across dozens of locations and business units. Use Migrate Mate to filter live listings by the visa types JPMorganChase sponsors, so you're only investing time in roles where your sponsorship situation is already a match.
Account for PERM timelines if you want a Green Card
JPMorganChase sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards through the PERM labor certification process, which can take a year or more before USCIS even begins adjudication. Raise your long-term immigration goals during the offer stage, not after you've already started.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Manager, Product Managements?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Manager, Product Management roles. The company has a dedicated immigration function that handles petitions across its lines of business. Because the H-1B is subject to an annual lottery, timing matters. JPMorganChase typically initiates H-1B registrations in March for an October 1 start date, so your offer and onboarding timeline needs to align with that cycle.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly sponsor for Manager, Product Management roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, E-3 visa, and employment-based Green Cards including EB-2 and EB-3 for this role. The H-1B1 covers Chilean and Singaporean nationals, and the E-3 visa is exclusive to Australian citizens. Both avoid the H-1B lottery and can move faster. Green Card sponsorship through PERM is typically available after an initial period of employment.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Manager, Product Management positions?
JPMorganChase generally looks for product managers with a bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field, several years of product ownership experience, and familiarity with financial services or regulated technology environments. For visa purposes, the degree needs to align with the role's defined specialty. Experience with Agile delivery, stakeholder management at scale, and data-driven prioritization is consistently weighted in the hiring process.
How do I apply for Manager, Product Management jobs at JPMorganChase?
You can browse and apply for Manager, Product Management roles at JPMorganChase directly through their careers site or through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm your eligibility before applying. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific line of business and flag your visa status in the recruiter screening call to ensure sponsorship is confirmed early in the process.
How do I navigate the visa sponsorship process once I receive an offer from JPMorganChase?
Once you have an offer, JPMorganChase's in-house immigration team or an outside counsel partner typically takes the lead on filing. For H-1B, they'll file the petition with USCIS, and for E-3 or H-1B1 visa roles, the process moves directly to a consular interview. Confirm your start date accounts for USCIS processing windows, and ask whether premium processing is available if you're on a tight timeline, such as a 60-day grace period between jobs.
