Job Description
Power the firm's straight-through processing by owning the Account & Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI) golden source. In this Product Owner- Vice President role, you'll set the vision and roadmap for a controlled, auditable reference data platform that connects onboarding/Know Your Candidate (KYC) to critical downstream payment, settlement, and reporting flows—reducing manual touchpoints while improving data quality and production stability. As a Product Owner (Vice President), you will lead strategy and execution for an internal cross–line of business Account and SSI reference data platform, with accountability for outcomes across client onboarding, account maintenance, SSI maintenance, and downstream payment, settlement, and regulatory reporting processing. Sitting between upstream onboarding/KYC processes and a broad set of downstream consumers (e.g., trade allocation platforms, trade and cash settlement engines, payment/trading platforms, and reporting platforms), you will own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for a trusted golden source of client account and SSI reference data. You will drive how account and SSI data is captured, validated, approved, published, and consumed (via APIs and event-driven publishing), translating complex operational, risk, and regulatory requirements into prioritized, development-ready delivery with strong controls, traceability, and auditability. You will balance new feature delivery with remediation, data quality uplift, production stability, and standards-driven change through transparent prioritization and executive-ready reporting. Success will be measured by delivering a strategic, industry-aligned, and scalable solution that reduces data proliferation, improves the operational user experience, and reduces manual touchpoints in a global, matrixed environment.
Job responsibilities
- Own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for the Account & SSI golden source platform, aligned to business value, resilience, and controls; prioritize trade-offs across features, remediation, and regulatory/standards change (SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, BIC, IBAN, LEI).
- Lead global end-to-end delivery (sequencing, dependencies, release planning) and convert requirements into development-ready stories with measurable acceptance criteria (and clear DoR/DoD); run agile ceremonies with the Scrum Master and maintain documentation, approvals, change control, and traceability for audit/regulatory readiness.
- Drive data standards, lineage, stewardship, and quality with monitoring for accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and consistency; partner with Compliance/Risk on KYC, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and sanctions dependencies with clear policy alignment, evidence, and control design.
- Translate workflows/pain points across Operations, Middle Office, Payments, Treasury, Custody, and Front Office into increments improving operating outcomes; coordinate integrations from onboarding/KYC to downstream consumers (SWIFT, Fedwire, CHAPS, settlement engines, trading platforms, DTCC ALERT, SWIFT Ref) with defined publishing contracts and controlled rollout.
- Define and track OKRs/KPIs (data quality/timeliness, exceptions/repairs, settlement fails, STP, SLA adherence); provide executive-ready reporting on status/risks/remediation and lead production resilience, incident triage, and migration/cutover planning.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative or related field (Finance, Maths, Stats, CS, Engineering).
- Certifications (CSPO, SAFe POPM, PMP, or PRINCE2).
- Exposure to Markets, Investor Services, custody, clearing and Prime brokerage.
- Working knowledge (SSI utilities DTCC ALERT, SWIFT).
- Executive stakeholder influence across Technology, Operations, Compliance, and business leaders in a global, matrixed environment.
- Comfort with ambiguity and sound judgement; makes explicit trade-offs framed in risk, operational impact, and value.
- Strong ownership and follow-through, with attention to detail in requirements, controls evidence, and delivery commitments.
- Strategic thinker with a bias for execution, balancing long-term platform health with near-term delivery outcomes.
- Clear, concise communicator to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior forums.

Frame Your Experience Around Regulated Technology
JPMorganChase's TPM roles frequently involve payments infrastructure, risk systems, or compliance tooling. Tailor your resume to highlight experience with regulated or auditable systems, not just general product delivery, before you apply.
Target Lines of Business with Active Backlogs
JPMorganChase posts TPM roles across Consumer and Community Banking, Corporate and Investment Bank, and Asset Management. Engineering-heavy lines like the firm's internal developer platform or merchant services tend to have more active pipelines for internationally sponsored hires.
Get Your Immigration Documents Audit-Ready Early
Large financial institutions run background and work authorization checks before making an offer. Have your degree credentials evaluated for U.S. equivalency, and if you're transferring from another H-1B employer, locate your approval notices and I-94 records ahead of any formal screening.
Understand the H-1B1 and E-3 Pathways Available to You
If you're a citizen of Singapore, Chile, or Australia, JPMorganChase's sponsorship history includes H-1B1 visa and E-3 filings, which skip the H-1B lottery entirely. Confirm which category applies to your nationality before your offer conversation so you can set realistic start-date expectations.
Negotiate Start Dates Around USCIS Processing Windows
For new H-1B cap registrations, employment can't start before October 1 of the fiscal year. If you're mid-process, request premium processing from your recruiter early. USCIS premium adjudication runs 15 business days and JPMorganChase routinely uses it for technical roles.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Open Roles Verified for Sponsorship
Filtering open TPM positions by sponsorship eligibility saves time when targeting a large employer like JPMorganChase. Use Migrate Mate to browse verified Technical Product Manager openings where sponsorship has been confirmed based on the firm's actual DOL filing history.

Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Technical Product Manager roles. The firm is a registered H-1B employer that files Labor Condition Applications with the DOL for qualifying positions. TPM roles typically meet the specialty occupation standard given the degree requirements in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase sponsor for Technical Product Manager roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors multiple visa categories for Technical Product Managers, including H-1B, E-3 visa for Australian citizens, H-1B1 visa for citizens of Singapore and Chile, and employment-based Green Card pathways such as EB-2 and EB-3. The right category depends on your nationality, current status, and how quickly you need to start.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Technical Product Manager roles?
Most TPM postings at JPMorganChase require a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related technical field, along with demonstrated experience managing software delivery in a cross-functional environment. Exposure to financial services, payment systems, or risk and compliance technology is frequently listed as preferred, and some senior roles require an MBA or equivalent.
How do I apply for Technical Product Manager jobs at JPMorganChase?
You can find and filter verified Technical Product Manager openings at JPMorganChase on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles based on confirmed sponsorship history. Once you identify a role, applications go through JPMorganChase's careers portal. Tailor your application to the specific line of business and include measurable delivery outcomes rather than generic product management language.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a JPMorganChase Technical Product Manager offer?
Timeline depends on your visa category. An E-3 or H-1B1 visa can move quickly, sometimes within four to six weeks from LCA filing to visa issuance. A cap-subject H-1B requires winning the March lottery before work can begin on October 1. JPMorganChase typically uses premium processing for technical roles to compress USCIS adjudication to 15 business days.
