Frame your AV domain expertise clearly
Zoox evaluates TPMs on their ability to bridge hardware and software in safety-critical systems. Before applying, document specific experience with sensor fusion, perception pipelines, or embedded systems so your background maps directly to autonomous vehicle product work.
Target Zoox roles with active LCA filings
Search DOL's FLAG system for Zoox Labor Condition Applications tied to product management titles. Active LCAs signal roles where sponsorship is already in motion and reduce the risk of pursuing a position where hiring managers haven't yet aligned with HR on sponsorship.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open TPM roles
Filter by visa type and employer to find Technical Product Manager openings at Zoox that explicitly support sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces roles verified against sponsorship history, saving you from applying to positions where international candidates are screened out early.
Prepare a specialty occupation narrative for your role
USCIS scrutinizes TPM roles closely because the title spans a wide experience range. Work with Zoox's immigration counsel to document that the specific position requires at minimum a bachelor's degree in a directly related technical field, not just general business or management.

Find Technical Product Manager at Zoox JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Zoox sponsor H-1B visas for Technical Product Managers?
Yes, Zoox sponsors H-1B visas for Technical Product Manager roles. Because TPM positions require both systems-level technical knowledge and product ownership experience, Zoox's filings for this function typically reflect senior or specialized roles. Cap-subject candidates should plan around the April registration window, while cap-exempt transfers from other sponsoring employers can file year-round.
How do I apply for Technical Product Manager jobs at Zoox?
Apply directly through Zoox's careers portal, where TPM roles are listed by product area including vehicle software, safety systems, and fleet operations. Tailoring your application to autonomous vehicle-specific product work increases visibility. You can also browse verified openings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate, which surfaces Zoox roles confirmed to support international candidates.
Which visa types does Zoox commonly use for Technical Product Manager roles?
Zoox sponsors across several categories for this role, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and F-1 OPT and STEM OPT for recent graduates. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, Zoox supports EB-2 and EB-3 pathways through PERM labor certification, which requires demonstrating no qualified U.S. workers are available for the position.
What qualifications does Zoox expect for Technical Product Manager candidates?
Zoox typically looks for TPMs with a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or a related technical field, combined with hands-on experience shipping products in complex hardware-software environments. Familiarity with automotive safety standards, sensor systems, or real-time systems architecture meaningfully differentiates candidates, particularly for roles tied to vehicle software or autonomy stack development.
How do I time my visa filing process when targeting a Zoox TPM offer?
Timing depends heavily on your current status. F-1 OPT candidates should verify their remaining authorized period and STEM extension eligibility before accepting an offer. H-1B transfers from an existing sponsor can start on day one at Zoox without waiting for USCIS approval under portability rules. E-3 and TN applicants can typically complete consular processing within a few weeks of receiving a certified LCA from Zoox's HR team.
