Frame your PMP around supply chain complexity
Molex operates across global manufacturing and component supply networks. Certifications like PMP or CAPM carry more weight when your resume connects them to hardware production cycles, supplier coordination, or cross-border logistics rather than software delivery.
Target roles that list LCA-covered wage tiers
Before applying, search DOL's FLAG system for Molex's Labor Condition Applications under Project Manager titles. This shows you which prevailing wage levels they've filed at, helping you gauge whether your experience aligns with their typical H-1B sponsorship profile.
Clarify your OPT or CPT start date early
If you're on F-1 status, Molex's recruiting team needs to know your work authorization window before extending an offer. Have your OPT card or CPT authorization letter ready, and confirm your end date upfront so there's no gap between your start date and their onboarding timeline.
Ask about PERM timing during the offer stage
For Project Manager roles, Molex has supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways. If permanent residence matters to you, ask your recruiter whether the role is structured to support PERM filing, and get a realistic sense of when that process typically begins relative to your start date.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Project Manager roles
Molex posts Project Manager openings across multiple locations and business units. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles at Molex that align with your visa type, so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already a known part of the hiring process.

Find Project Manager at Molex JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Molex sponsor H-1B visas for Project Managers?
Yes, Molex sponsors H-1B visas for Project Manager roles. The company has filed H-1B petitions for this function across multiple recent hiring cycles. Because H-1B sponsorship requires USCIS approval and is subject to the annual cap and lottery, your best path is to engage with Molex's recruiting team early in the calendar year, well before the April filing window.
How do I apply for Project Manager jobs at Molex?
Apply directly through Molex's careers portal, and use Migrate Mate to browse and filter their current Project Manager openings by visa type. In your application and any recruiter conversations, be explicit about your visa status and sponsorship needs upfront. Molex's talent acquisition team is experienced with sponsored hires, so transparency early in the process avoids delays later.
Which visa types does Molex commonly use for Project Manager roles?
Molex sponsors Project Managers across several visa categories, including H-1B, F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates, J-1 for qualifying exchange visitors, and EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term permanent residence. The right category depends on your citizenship, degree level, and where you are in your career. TN status does not apply to Project Manager roles.
What qualifications does Molex expect for sponsored Project Manager positions?
Molex typically looks for a bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or a related field, plus demonstrated experience managing cross-functional or manufacturing programs. A PMP certification strengthens your profile. For H-1B eligibility, the role must qualify as a specialty occupation, so your degree field needs to have a direct relationship to Project Manager duties as Molex defines the position.
How do I think about timing when pursuing a sponsored Project Manager role at Molex?
Timing depends on your current status. F-1 OPT gives you up to 12 months of work authorization, with a 24-month STEM extension possible if your degree qualifies. For H-1B sponsorship, USCIS opens registration in March for an October 1 start, so offers need to come months in advance. If you're already in valid status, Molex can sometimes pursue cap-exempt or change-of-status filings depending on your situation.
