POSITION OVERVIEW
The Office of the CRO moves fast, operates across ambiguity, and touches the most consequential priorities in our sales organization. To scale that work, we're hiring a Senior Program Manager who will function as a true extension of the Chief of Staff to the CRO — someone who can pick up a half-formed idea and turn it into a crisp framework, a sharp deck, and a stakeholder plan.
This is not a role for someone who needs a defined playbook. It's a role for a seasoned operator who brings their own structure to undefined problems, earns trust without relying on formal authority, and takes genuine pride in making others look brilliant. You'll be embedded in the highest-priority work of the sales org — from culture and peak performance initiatives to CRO leadership sessions to strategic coordination — and you'll be the engine that keeps it all moving.
We are open to candidates based in the United States and Canada.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design, rollout, and adoption of core sales culture initiatives
- Build structure, momentum, and accountability frameworks that make programs stick beyond launch
- Partner with sales leadership and enablement to ensure initiatives land in the field — not just on paper
- Coordinate inputs, documentation, and reporting across key strategic initiatives
- Maintain visibility and alignment for the CRO and Chief of Staff without becoming a heavy centralized PMO function
- Step into selective initiative ownership when the work calls for it
- Translate early-stage CRO ideas into polished, executive-ready narratives and decks
- Bring genuine craft to the work — clean structure, sharp visual hierarchy, and the ability to make a complicated idea feel obvious
- Build scalable templates and reusable frameworks that accelerate future work across the org
- Own regular check-ins and reporting on the status of key sales org priorities
- Synthesize progress, surface risks, and keep stakeholders oriented — without generating noise for noise's sake
- Design and facilitate workshops and working sessions for the sales team
- Ensure every session has a clear purpose, tight design, and outputs that actually drive action
- Step into ambiguous, cross-functional problems and create clarity and forward motion
- Serve as a trusted second set of hands for the Chief of Staff across a wide and shifting range of priorities
- Build relationships across the sales org that create influence and unlock execution without relying on title or authority
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in consulting, Chief of Staff functions, sales enablement, or senior program operations
- Demonstrated ability to take ambiguous, executive-level priorities and build them into structured, actionable programs
- Exceptional slide craft — strong visual thinker with the ability to make complex narratives land with a senior audience
- Strong EQ and executive presence; experienced operating in rooms where you may be the most junior person
- Bias toward execution — you care whether things actually land, not just whether they were well-designed
- Proven ability to work across senior stakeholders without formal authority, earning influence through quality and reliability
- Comfortable generating your own structure and moving forward in the absence of a clear brief or constant direction
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience supporting a senior GTM leader directly
- Background in sales culture, organizational transformation, or performance culture initiatives
- Familiarity with sales motion or GTM operating rhythms
- Experience in or exposure to Chief of Staff functions, with an interest in growing as a senior operator within a revenue or GTM organization
- Prior people management experience (not required, but indicative of the leadership maturity we're looking for)

Align your PM credentials to Autodesk's product domain
Autodesk prioritizes Project Managers with experience in software product delivery or construction technology workflows. Certifications like PMP or PMI-ACP strengthen your profile, but framing past work around Agile or Scrum in a SaaS environment matters more than the credential alone.
Target roles in Autodesk's platform and cloud divisions
Autodesk's fastest-moving hiring for Project Managers sits in its cloud platform and BIM product lines. Applying to teams building products like Autodesk Construction Cloud positions you where sponsorship decisions move faster and headcount is actively growing.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open PM roles by visa type
Not every Autodesk Project Manager listing explicitly mentions sponsorship. Search Migrate Mate to surface roles filtered by the visa types Autodesk actively supports, so you're applying to positions where your authorization needs are already accounted for.
Clarify your visa type before the offer stage
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm whether your timeline aligns with Autodesk's H-1B cap-subject filing window. USCIS requires H-1B petitions to be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start, so offer timing relative to your OPT expiration needs to be mapped out early in the process.
Understand how Autodesk structures LCA filings for PM roles
Autodesk files Labor Condition Applications with the DOL before submitting H-1B petitions. For Project Manager roles, the prevailing wage tier depends on the specific job duties and worksite location. Knowing which wage level your responsibilities fall under helps you evaluate whether an offer is structured correctly.
Request a clear sponsorship timeline once you receive an offer
Large technology employers like Autodesk typically route sponsorship through an in-house immigration team or outside counsel. Ask your recruiter at the offer stage who coordinates filing, what documents you'll need to provide, and what the expected USCIS processing timeline looks like for your visa category.

Does Autodesk sponsor H-1B visas for Project Managers?
Yes, Autodesk sponsors H-1B visas for Project Manager roles. The company files petitions through the standard USCIS cap-subject process each April, with an October 1 employment start date. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, Autodesk can file an H-1B transfer, which lets you start work as soon as USCIS receives the petition.
How do I apply for Project Manager jobs at Autodesk?
Apply directly through Autodesk's careers portal, where Project Manager listings are posted by team and location. Before applying, research which division the role sits in, since product, construction, and enterprise teams each have different scope expectations. Migrate Mate surfaces Autodesk PM listings filtered by visa sponsorship type, which helps you identify roles where your work authorization needs are already supported.
Which visa types does Autodesk commonly use for Project Manager roles?
Autodesk supports several visa categories for Project Managers, including H-1B, E-3 (for Australian citizens), TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), and F-1 OPT and CPT for students in eligible programs. For longer-term employment, Autodesk also files EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions, which typically require PERM labor certification through the DOL before the immigrant visa petition stage.
What qualifications does Autodesk expect for sponsored Project Manager roles?
Autodesk typically expects a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or business, along with hands-on experience managing software development or product delivery projects. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Asana is commonly referenced in listings. Senior PM roles often require experience coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple time zones, which reflects Autodesk's global product organization.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Project Manager at Autodesk?
Timeline depends on your visa category. H-1B cap-subject cases follow a fixed annual cycle, with petitions filed in April and employment starting October 1. H-1B transfers and E-3 or TN cases move faster, often within weeks of filing. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship typically takes one to three years depending on your country of birth and the DOL processing queue at the time of filing.
