At Commure, we're building the AI Operating System for healthcare, the foundation that defines how care is delivered, documented, and financed. Our platform spans the full care journey: Ambient AI and Dictation eliminating documentation burden at the point of care, intelligent Agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims, all on a single AI-native platform integrated with 60+ EHRs.
Healthcare carries a $1 trillion administrative burden and we're at the center of transforming it. Today, 500,000+ clinicians across 500+ healthcare organizations nationwide trust Commure to handle $25B+ in annual claims and support over 200 million patient interactions. Our latest $70M raise at a $7B valuation reflects the confidence the market has placed in this mission.
Our team works directly alongside clinicians, not through layers of process, which means the gap between what you build and its impact on patient care is immediate. We move fast, deploy daily, and take full ownership from early thinking to production. If you're energized by hard problems, high stakes, and a team that holds itself to a high bar, you'll find your people here.
The future of healthcare is being built right now. Come deliver this transformation.
About the Role
At Commure, our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Core team is building the autonomous backend that turns healthcare's most manual financial workflows into intelligent systems. The Claims Submissions team owns getting claims out the door correctly, the first time. It is in front of the entire revenue cycle: nothing else downstream matters if we can't reliably translate a clinical encounter into a clean, payer-accepted claim.
What You’ll Do
- Clearinghouse integrations: submitting claims through multiple clearinghouses and handling their heterogeneous response, verification, and error semantics.
- The claim generation pipeline: transforming structured claim payloads into valid electronic EDI claims across professional (CMS-1500), institutional (CMS-1450/UB), and dental (CDT) formats, plus paper-claim and PDF generation for payers that require mail or fax.
- Build the Eligibility Orchestrator's routing logic so the right payer gets the right claim, with guardrails that prevent acting on a coverage result that belongs to the wrong person.
- Scale a rule engine that runs hundreds of configurable conditions and actions per customer across high transaction volumes — safely, idempotently, and with full explainability for operations teams.
- Contribute to the technical direction of the RCM platform by proposing and implementing improvements to architecture, tools, and technologies.
- Build end-to-end products to revolutionize revenue cycle management for providers and administrators.
- Take ownership of end-to-end integration workflows, from design and development through to deployment and post-launch monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, and healthcare) to gather integration requirements, define technical approaches, and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
- Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Conduct in-depth code reviews, uphold best practices, and drive architectural improvements across the stack.
What You Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development industry experience.
- Proficiency in frontend languages like Typescript and React.
- Proficiency in backend languages like Python or Go.
- Experience including but not limited to Git, GCP / AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational DBs, and monitoring/alerting tools.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing end-to-end solutions and making successful architectural decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Frame your PM credentials around healthcare workflows
Commure builds infrastructure for clinical and operational teams, so your resume should highlight experience managing cross-functional projects in regulated or compliance-heavy environments. Agile delivery experience in healthcare or health tech settings signals immediate fit.
Confirm your visa type matches open roles
Commure sponsors H-1B, TN, and OPT, but eligibility varies by role seniority and your current status. Check whether the specific Project Manager opening lists sponsorship before applying, since not every position within a company carries the same authorization.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Project Manager roles at Commure
Browse Commure's open Project Manager listings filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate. This saves time identifying which roles actively support sponsorship rather than manually cross-referencing job boards that don't surface that information.
Prepare your OPT timeline before the offer stage
If you're on F-1 OPT, calculate your remaining authorized period before you start interviewing. Commure's hiring process for Project Manager roles typically involves multiple interview rounds, and you need enough OPT runway to start before your employer files the H-1B petition.
Understand the LCA requirement in your offer negotiation
Before Commure can file your H-1B petition with USCIS, the company must obtain a certified Labor Condition Application from the DOL confirming your offered wage meets the prevailing rate for your geographic work location. Factor this two-to-four week step into your expected start date.
Ask specifically about cap-exempt or cap-subject filing
If you need an H-1B and the lottery applies to you, timing your offer to align with the USCIS registration window in March is critical. Raise this directly with Commure's recruiter so HR can align your onboarding and petition filing to that annual cycle.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Commure sponsor H-1B visas for Project Managers?
Yes, Commure sponsors H-1B visas for Project Manager roles. The company has an active sponsorship history for this function, supporting candidates through both the USCIS lottery registration process and cap-exempt scenarios where applicable. Confirm sponsorship availability directly with the recruiter for the specific opening you're targeting, as support can vary by role level and business unit.
How do I apply for Project Manager jobs at Commure?
Apply directly through Commure's careers page or use Migrate Mate to browse and filter their open Project Manager roles by visa sponsorship type. Before applying, tailor your resume to highlight cross-functional project delivery in technology or healthcare settings. Commure's interview process typically includes a recruiter screen, hiring manager round, and a panel focused on program execution and stakeholder management.
Which visa types does Commure commonly sponsor for Project Manager roles?
Commure sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN visa, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Project Manager positions. TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican citizens in qualifying professional categories. If you're on OPT and receive an offer, Commure can support the transition to H-1B status through the annual USCIS registration window.
What qualifications does Commure expect for Project Manager roles?
Commure typically looks for Project Managers with experience leading technical or clinical product initiatives in a software or healthcare technology environment. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum delivery frameworks is expected. Roles often require coordinating across engineering, product, and clinical operations teams, so demonstrated experience managing stakeholders in cross-functional settings strengthens your application significantly.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take after receiving an offer from Commure?
Timeline depends on your visa type. For H-1B, the DOL LCA certification takes two to four weeks, followed by USCIS adjudication that can range from a few weeks with premium processing to several months standard. OPT authorization is already in place when you start. Build buffer time into your start date discussion with Commure's HR team so petition filing deadlines don't create gaps in your work authorization.
