At Commure, we're building the AI Operating System for healthcare, the foundation that defines how care is delivered, documented, and financed. Our platform spans the full care journey: Ambient AI and Dictation eliminating documentation burden at the point of care, intelligent Agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims, all on a single AI-native platform integrated with 60+ EHRs.
Healthcare carries a $1 trillion administrative burden and we're at the center of transforming it. Today, 500,000+ clinicians across 500+ healthcare organizations nationwide trust Commure to handle $25B+ in annual claims and support over 200 million patient interactions. Our latest $70M raise at a $7B valuation reflects the confidence the market has placed in this mission. We've also been named to the Fortune Future 50 list and the 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards for “Overall NLP Company of the Year.”
Our team works directly alongside clinicians, not through layers of process, which means the gap between what you build and its impact on patient care is immediate. We move fast, deploy daily, and take full ownership from early thinking to production. If you're energized by hard problems, high stakes, and a team that holds itself to a high bar, you'll find your people here.
The future of healthcare is being built right now. Come deliver this transformation.
About the Role
This is not a conventional support or project management role. You'll serve as the operational owner for Ambient EHR integrations across our enterprise health system portfolio, acting as the connective tissue between Engineering, Implementation Consultants, Customer Success, and client IT teams. When an integration breaks, stalls, or behaves unexpectedly, you're the person who diagnoses what's actually happening, routes it to the right owner with the right context, and drives it to a fast, defensible resolution.
You'll own integration launch coordination end-to-end for new enterprise deployments, from kickoff and technical validation through go-live and stabilization, across a portfolio of 10+ EHRs. This includes account configuration and validation, provider and site setup verification, sync health monitoring, and coordinating client-side dependencies like network access, API credentials, and template builds.
You'll be the triage engine for integration issues in production: reproducing and scoping problems, distinguishing product bugs from configuration issues from client-environment problems, and holding the line on triage SLAs. You'll work directly in internal tooling, tracking issues in Linear, and you'll build the dashboards and health metrics that give leadership visibility into enterprise sync rates and error trends.
Across all of it, you'll be the process architect: codifying integration triage, launch, and escalation workflows into documented runbooks and playbooks that survive personnel changes, and establishing operating cadence through weekly status reporting to executive audiences, SLA reviews, and cross-functional syncs.
What You Have
Required:
- 8-10 years in operations, ideally in healthcare technology with demonstrated experience owning cross-functional workflows requiring triage, judgment, and stakeholder alignment
- Proven triage and escalation ownership: you can reproduce an issue, isolate root cause across product, configuration, and client environment, and route it with enough context that engineering doesn't have to re-investigate
- Strong documentation instincts: you think in systems, write runbooks that others can execute without you, and keep them current
- Strong written communication, equally fluent in executive status updates, internal escalation summaries, and client-facing emails to health system IT and clinical stakeholders
- A systems thinker and low-ego operator who builds trust through consistent follow-through, and who can deliver a clear, documented "no" when a request falls outside supported scope
Nice to Have:
- Direct experience with ambient AI clinical documentation workflows or point-of-care technology deployments
- Hands-on experience with at least one major EHR platform (Epic, Meditech Expanse, Athena, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or oncology EMRs)
- Working knowledge of EHR integration fundamentals: HL7, FHIR, REST APIs, token-based authentication, and the practical failure modes of each (auth errors, network/firewall blocks, data routing issues)
- Experience coordinating launches with enterprise health system IT teams, including navigating network access, SSID/firewall constraints, credentialing, and third-party template vendors
- Obsessively organized but adaptable: you hold a complex multi-client portfolio without losing the thread when priorities shift, and you manage upward proactively without being asked

Tips for Finding Business Operations Manager Jobs at Commure
Frame your credentials around healthcare tech operations
Commure builds software for health systems, so frame your experience around operational scaling in regulated or complex technology environments. Highlight cross-functional program coordination, vendor management, or data-driven process improvement over generic business administration.
Confirm your OPT or CPT timing before applying
If you're on F-1 status, map your OPT expiration against Commure's typical hiring cycle. A Business Operations Manager role often takes 6 to 10 weeks to close, so apply with enough runway to avoid gaps before an H-1B transfer or cap filing.
Target roles tied to specific product lines
Commure organizes its operations hiring around distinct product and platform teams. Roles attached to a specific business unit tend to move faster through headcount approval, which reduces the window between offer and visa filing initiation.
Raise visa sponsorship after a verbal offer not before
Bringing up sponsorship during early interviews shifts focus to cost and process before you've established your value. Once Commure signals intent to hire, ask directly whether the role is eligible for H-1B or employer-sponsored Green Card filing.
Understand the LCA requirement before your start date
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL and have it certified before USCIS can process your H-1B petition. Confirm with Commure's HR team that this is in motion at least 30 days before your anticipated start date.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by visa type
Commure posts Business Operations Manager openings across multiple teams at different times. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles that match your visa type so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already confirmed, not assumed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Commure sponsor H-1B visas for Business Operations Managers?
Yes, Commure sponsors H-1B visas for Business Operations Manager roles. The company has an established pattern of filing H-1B petitions across its operations and business functions, which reflects a deliberate approach to international hiring rather than case-by-case exceptions. If you receive an offer, confirm the sponsorship scope with your recruiter early in the process.
How do I apply for Business Operations Manager jobs at Commure?
Applications go through Commure's careers page, where roles are listed by team and location. Migrate Mate is the most direct way to browse open Business Operations Manager positions at Commure filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can focus only on roles where international candidates are actively considered. Tailor your resume to reflect operational experience in technology or healthcare software environments.
Which visa types does Commure commonly use for Business Operations Manager hires?
Commure sponsors H-1B transfers and new cap-subject filings, F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates, TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals, and employer-sponsored immigrant pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. The right category depends on your current status, degree, and country of citizenship. Business Operations Manager roles typically qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B standards given their analytical and strategic scope.
What qualifications does Commure expect for Business Operations Manager candidates?
Commure generally looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, operations, economics, or a related field, combined with experience scaling processes inside a technology company. Familiarity with SaaS business models, cross-functional program management, and data analysis tools carries weight. Because Commure works with health systems, exposure to healthcare workflows or regulated industries is a meaningful differentiator in a competitive candidate pool.
How do I think about the timeline from application to visa filing at Commure?
From initial application to a signed offer typically takes six to ten weeks depending on the team's urgency and interview stages. After an offer, the H-1B LCA certification with DOL takes one to two weeks, followed by the USCIS petition. Premium processing reduces the USCIS adjudication window to 15 business days. If you're on OPT, map these timelines against your authorization expiration to avoid a gap in work authorization.
