INTRODUCTION
At Commure, we're building the AI Operating System for healthcare, the foundation that defines how care is delivered, documented, and financed. Our platform spans the full care journey: Ambient AI and Dictation eliminating documentation burden at the point of care, intelligent Agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims, all on a single AI-native platform integrated with 60+ EHRs.
Healthcare carries a $1 trillion administrative burden and we're at the center of transforming it. Today, 500,000+ clinicians across 500+ healthcare organizations nationwide trust Commure to handle $25B+ in annual claims and support over 200 million patient interactions. Our latest $70M raise at a $7B valuation reflects the confidence the market has placed in this mission.
Our team works directly alongside clinicians, not through layers of process, which means the gap between what you build and its impact on patient care is immediate. We move fast, deploy daily, and take full ownership from early thinking to production. If you're energized by hard problems, high stakes, and a team that holds itself to a high bar, you'll find your people here.
The future of healthcare is being built right now. Come deliver this transformation.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is not a conventional scope management role. You'll serve as the decision-maker and process architect for every request that falls outside standard product boundaries fielding escalations from Sales, Operations, and Account Management, evaluating feasibility and business fit, and driving fast, defensible resolutions. You'll sit at the intersection of product, operations, and customer service, holding the line on scope while remaining a trusted partner to the business and building the systems that make both possible at scale.
You'll own EHR Credentialing operations across a team of four mapping workflows end-to-end, eliminating manual and error-prone steps through automation, and tracking the metrics that matter: cycle time, error rate, backlog size, and automation coverage. In parallel, you'll provide the operational backbone for Business Operations, owning onboarding, offboarding, and documentation management workflows to ensure ongoing compliance.
Across all of it, you'll be the process architect codifying exceptions triage, credentialing, and BizOps workflows into documented playbooks, leveraging AI tools and internal platforms like Retool and Vercel to eliminate manual work, and establishing the team's operating cadence through weekly reviews, SLA reports, and cross-functional syncs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5–8 years in operations, product operations, or technical operations
- ideally in high-growth SaaS or healthcare technology with demonstrated experience owning cross-functional processes that required triage, judgment, and stakeholder alignment
- Experience managing a small team, setting priorities, tracking output, and holding people accountable to SLAs while balancing competing commercial and operational needs
- Hands-on experience with SQL and BI or internal tooling platforms (Looker Studio, Retool, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to build reporting that stakeholders actually use
- Strong process design instincts you think in systems, document them clearly, and build playbooks that survive personnel changes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication: equally fluent writing policy documents, exception recommendations, and executive summaries
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in healthcare technology, EHR systems, or clinical workflow operations with familiarity in the credentialing landscape
- Experience in BizOps, GTM Ops, or Revenue Operations supporting Sales or Account Management teams, ideally at the boundary between Product and commercial functions
- Familiarity with AI tools and LLMs for automating repetitive workflows, and enough experience with low-code platforms like Retool or Vercel to collaborate effectively with technical builders
- Obsessively organized but adaptable you hold complex portfolios without losing the thread when priorities shift, and you manage upward proactively without being asked
- A systems thinker and low-ego operator who translates process needs into scalable solutions and builds trust through consistent follow-through
- Someone who can say no clearly and fairly with a documented reason and make high-stakes, manual processes clean, transparent, and repeatable

Frame your resume around operational metrics
Commure operates at the intersection of healthcare and enterprise software, so quantify process improvements, cross-functional project outcomes, and system rollouts. Hiring teams for Operations Manager roles want to see evidence of scale, not just task ownership.
Confirm LCA filing before accepting an offer
Before your H-1B transfer or new petition moves forward, your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL. Ask the recruiting team which immigration counsel handles filings so you know the timeline before your start date.
Target Commure's clinical and go-to-market operations tracks
Commure's Operations Manager openings span product deployment, revenue cycle, and clinical workflow teams. Tailoring your application to a specific operational vertical increases relevance and signals domain fluency beyond generalist project management experience.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by visa type
Commure posts Operations Manager roles across multiple hiring cycles. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for positions that align with your visa category, so you're applying to openings where sponsorship is already expected by the hiring team.
Align your OPT or CPT timeline with Commure's onboarding cycles
F-1 students targeting Commure should map their OPT start date to the role's anticipated start window. USCIS recommends filing the EAD application up to 90 days before your program end date, so initiate that process before you receive an offer.
Address specialty occupation eligibility for operations roles early
USCIS scrutinizes H-1B petitions for operations titles more than for engineering roles. Come prepared with a job description that ties your duties directly to a specific academic discipline, whether that's industrial engineering, information systems, or healthcare administration.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Commure sponsor H-1B visas for Operations Managers?
Yes. Commure sponsors H-1B visas for Operations Manager roles, and the company works with immigration counsel to handle petitions for qualifying candidates. Because operations titles receive closer scrutiny from USCIS under specialty occupation rules, your offer letter and job description should clearly link your duties to a degree-requiring discipline. Confirming this framing early in the offer process protects the petition.
How do I apply for Operations Manager jobs at Commure?
Applications go through Commure's careers portal, where roles are organized by team and function. To find openings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, browse Migrate Mate, which surfaces Commure's Operations Manager positions alongside their sponsorship history. When applying, tailor your materials to the specific operational vertical, whether clinical operations, revenue cycle, or product deployment, rather than submitting a generic resume.
Which visa types does Commure commonly use for Operations Manager roles?
Commure sponsors H-1B transfers and new cap-subject petitions, supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, and files EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa petitions for longer-term employees. TN status is also an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying operations roles. The right visa depends on your current status, nationality, and the specific position's requirements.
What qualifications does Commure expect for Operations Manager candidates?
Commure's Operations Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, healthcare administration, information systems, or industrial engineering, along with direct experience managing cross-functional workflows or implementations. For H-1B eligibility, your degree field needs to align with the job duties. Experience in healthcare technology environments or with clinical operations and enterprise software rollouts is a meaningful differentiator in the applicant pool.
How do I think about the sponsorship timeline when targeting Commure?
If you're transferring an existing H-1B, Commure can file a cap-exempt petition and you can start on portability once the new petition is filed and 365 days have passed since your I-140 approval. For cap-subject candidates, the H-1B lottery runs in March for an October 1 start, so offers made in Q1 are the most viable. F-1 OPT holders should confirm their authorization window covers the full onboarding period before accepting.
