At Commure, we're building the AI Operating System for healthcare, the foundation that defines how care is delivered, documented, and financed. Our platform spans the full care journey: Ambient AI and Dictation eliminating documentation burden at the point of care, intelligent Agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims, all on a single AI-native platform integrated with 60+ EHRs.
Healthcare carries a $1 trillion administrative burden and we're at the center of transforming it. Today, 500,000+ clinicians across 500+ healthcare organizations nationwide trust Commure to handle $25B+ in annual claims and support over 200 million patient interactions. Our latest $70M raise at a $7B valuation reflects the confidence the market has placed in this mission. We've also been named to the Fortune Future 50 list and the 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards for “Overall NLP Company of the Year.”
Our team works directly alongside clinicians, not through layers of process, which means the gap between what you build and its impact on patient care is immediate. We move fast, deploy daily, and take full ownership from early thinking to production. If you're energized by hard problems, high stakes, and a team that holds itself to a high bar, you'll find your people here.
The future of healthcare is being built right now. Come deliver this transformation.
About the Role
This is not a conventional support or project management role. You'll serve as the operational owner for Ambient EHR integrations across our enterprise health system portfolio, acting as the connective tissue between Engineering, Implementation Consultants, Customer Success, and client IT teams. When an integration breaks, stalls, or behaves unexpectedly, you're the person who diagnoses what's actually happening, routes it to the right owner with the right context, and drives it to a fast, defensible resolution.
You'll own integration launch coordination end-to-end for new enterprise deployments, from kickoff and technical validation through go-live and stabilization, across a portfolio of 10+ EHRs. This includes account configuration and validation, provider and site setup verification, sync health monitoring, and coordinating client-side dependencies like network access, API credentials, and template builds.
You'll be the triage engine for integration issues in production: reproducing and scoping problems, distinguishing product bugs from configuration issues from client-environment problems, and holding the line on triage SLAs. You'll work directly in internal tooling, tracking issues in Linear, and you'll build the dashboards and health metrics that give leadership visibility into enterprise sync rates and error trends.
Across all of it, you'll be the process architect: codifying integration triage, launch, and escalation workflows into documented runbooks and playbooks that survive personnel changes, and establishing operating cadence through weekly status reporting to executive audiences, SLA reviews, and cross-functional syncs.
What You Have
Required:
- 8-10 years in operations, ideally in healthcare technology with demonstrated experience owning cross-functional workflows requiring triage, judgment, and stakeholder alignment
- Proven triage and escalation ownership: you can reproduce an issue, isolate root cause across product, configuration, and client environment, and route it with enough context that engineering doesn't have to re-investigate
- Strong documentation instincts: you think in systems, write runbooks that others can execute without you, and keep them current
- Strong written communication, equally fluent in executive status updates, internal escalation summaries, and client-facing emails to health system IT and clinical stakeholders
- A systems thinker and low-ego operator who builds trust through consistent follow-through, and who can deliver a clear, documented "no" when a request falls outside supported scope
Nice to Have:
- Direct experience with ambient AI clinical documentation workflows or point-of-care technology deployments
- Hands-on experience with at least one major EHR platform (Epic, Meditech Expanse, Athena, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or oncology EMRs)
- Working knowledge of EHR integration fundamentals: HL7, FHIR, REST APIs, token-based authentication, and the practical failure modes of each (auth errors, network/firewall blocks, data routing issues)
- Experience coordinating launches with enterprise health system IT teams, including navigating network access, SSID/firewall constraints, credentialing, and third-party template vendors
- Obsessively organized but adaptable: you hold a complex multi-client portfolio without losing the thread when priorities shift, and you manage upward proactively without being asked

Tips for Finding Business Operations Jobs at Commure
Align your background to healthcare tech operations
Commure operates in clinical workflow software and healthcare infrastructure. Frame your resume around cross-functional program management, process optimization, or data-driven operations work that maps to a technology company serving health systems.
Clarify your visa status before the first screen
Business Operations roles at Commure often involve multiple hiring managers across teams. Stating your visa type and authorization timeline upfront prevents late-stage confusion and signals you understand how sponsorship works at a fast-moving tech employer.
Gather documentation showing specialty occupation eligibility
For H-1B sponsorship, USCIS requires your role to qualify as a specialty occupation. Collect academic transcripts, job offer letters, and any certifications that connect your degree field directly to the operations function Commure is hiring for.
Target open roles that match DOL prevailing wage levels
Commure must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL certifying it will pay the prevailing wage for your role and location. Focus on mid-to-senior Business Operations titles, where compensation is more likely to clear that threshold without friction.
Use Migrate Mate to find active Business Operations openings
Commure posts roles across multiple job boards at varying times. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Business Operations positions at Commure that are open to visa sponsorship, so you're applying to live opportunities that match your authorization needs.
Plan your start date around H-1B cap timing if needed
If you need a new H-1B cap slot, USCIS registration opens in March with an October 1 start date. Coordinate with Commure's recruiting team early so your offer, LCA filing, and petition submission align with that statutory window.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Commure sponsor H-1B visas for Business Operations?
Yes, Commure sponsors H-1B visas for Business Operations roles. The company files Labor Condition Applications with the DOL and submits H-1B petitions through USCIS for qualifying positions. To improve your chances, ensure your degree field connects directly to the specific operations function you're applying for, since USCIS evaluates each role's specialty occupation status individually.
How do I apply for Business Operations jobs at Commure?
Search for open Business Operations roles on Commure's careers page or use Migrate Mate to filter for positions that include visa sponsorship. When applying, tailor your resume to highlight cross-functional operations experience in technology or healthcare settings. Be prepared to discuss your visa status and intended start date during the initial recruiter screen, as Commure moves quickly through its hiring process.
Which visa types does Commure commonly use for Business Operations hires?
Commure sponsors H-1B visas for full-time Business Operations roles and supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates. For Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying operations occupations, TN visa status is another pathway. Longer-term, Commure also pursues employment-based Green Card sponsorship through the EB-2 and EB-3 categories for eligible employees.
What qualifications does Commure look for in Business Operations candidates?
Commure typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree or higher in business, operations management, engineering, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in program management, analytics, or process improvement within technology companies. Healthcare sector experience is a differentiator given Commure's focus on clinical workflows. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and comfort working in fast-paced product environments are consistently valued.
How do I time my application around the H-1B sponsorship process at Commure?
If you need a cap-subject H-1B, USCIS opens registration each March for an October 1 start date. Plan to secure your offer and have Commure complete your Labor Condition Application with the DOL well before the registration window opens. If you're already on F-1 OPT, you have more flexibility, but build in time for standard USCIS processing, which can run several months without premium processing.
