At Commure, we're building the AI Operating System for healthcare, the foundation that defines how care is delivered, documented, and financed. Our platform spans the full care journey: Ambient AI and Dictation eliminating documentation burden at the point of care, intelligent Agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims, all on a single AI-native platform integrated with 60+ EHRs.
Healthcare carries a $1 trillion administrative burden and we're at the center of transforming it. Today, 500,000+ clinicians across 500+ healthcare organizations nationwide trust Commure to handle $25B+ in annual claims and support over 200 million patient interactions. Our latest $70M raise at a $7B valuation reflects the confidence the market has placed in this mission.
Our team works directly alongside clinicians, not through layers of process, which means the gap between what you build and its impact on patient care is immediate. We move fast, deploy daily, and take full ownership from early thinking to production. If you're energized by hard problems, high stakes, and a team that holds itself to a high bar, you'll find your people here.
The future of healthcare is being built right now. Come deliver this transformation.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a builder - someone who loves solving hard operational problems with code, data, and product intuition. You are right for this role if you’re someone who can take an operational workflow, inspect the data, understand the business logic, build and modify tools, evaluate outcomes and ship measurable improvements. Part consultant, part product thinker, part data analyst, you’ll help us automate and scale traditionally manual workflows that underpin healthcare operations - from claim submissions to payment posting.
This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and implementation. You’ll design, test, and operationalize automations across our stack, work hands-on with Product, Engineering teams, and our customers to map and rebuild their workflows, and create systems that scale. You’ll be accountable for outcomes - building the infrastructure, tools, and processes that let our teams and our clients move faster and smarter.
We want people who are excellent operators, strong problem solvers, and comfortable building from scratch.
At Commure, there are no speed limits in your growth. If you show ownership and deliver results, your responsibilities - and impact - will grow rapidly. We value people who move fast, think deeply, take pride in solid execution, and deliver results for our customers.
This full-time position requires working 5 days a week in our Mountain View, CA office.
- Own high-impact processes: Own one or more automation surfaces end-to-end: instrumentation, workflow mapping, SQL/data analysis, tool changes, experiment evaluation, rollout, monitoring, and post-launch debugging.
- Design and automate workflows: Use SQL, APIs, scripts, and emerging tools (including LLMs and harnesses) to automate manual claim-related workflows and improve scalability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Account Management to influence roadmap priorities and scale successful solutions.
- Analyze and optimize: Build dashboards and reporting pipelines to monitor productivity, quality, and financial outcomes; identify bottlenecks and automate fixes.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in operations, consulting, or data-heavy roles at a tech company or fast-paced startup.
- Strong SQL fluency - comfortable querying, analyzing, and structuring data to drive insights and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and systems-thinking skills; able to diagnose root causes and design scalable solutions.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects end-to-end, working autonomously in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Bonus: Experience with AI Automation Infrastructure, such as:
- Prompt Iteration
- Evaluations
- Failure Analysis
- Agent Workflows
- Hallucination / Leakage / Overfitting Risks
- Human-in-the-Loop Design
- Confidence Thresholds
- Auditability
- Production Monitoring
- Bonus: Experience in healthcare operations, claims, or billing systems.
- Bonus: Experience building or integrating workflows via APIs, Python, or web automation tools (Zapier, Retool, custom scripts, etc.).
- Bonus: Experience with agentic workflow development, building orchestration scripts and validation scripts, and working with the cloud.
Who You Are
- You investigate metric drops relentlessly until you've identified a root cause.
- You validate dashboard queries before trusting the output.
- You work comfortably with raw logs, database records, and edge cases.
- You translate domain expert knowledge into scalable automation.
- You apply rigorous critical thinking to LLM outputs and build appropriate guardrails.
- You ship useful tools early and iterate rather than over-engineer a perfect design doc.

Tips for Finding Operations Project Manager Jobs at Commure
Frame Your PMP Credentials for Tech Healthcare
Commure operates in healthcare technology, so position your project management credentials around software deployment cycles, EHR integrations, or health system implementations. A PMP or CAPM tied to tech-adjacent outcomes reads stronger than generic ops experience.
Target Roles That Reference Cross-Functional Delivery
Commure's Operations Project Manager postings consistently emphasize cross-functional coordination across engineering and clinical teams. Apply to listings where the job description explicitly names engineering or product stakeholders, which signals active, funded headcount with sponsorship budget allocated.
Verify Your OPT Start Date Against Offer Timing
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your employment start date clears USCIS authorization. OPT begins on the date printed on your EAD card, not your offer letter date. A mismatch creates an unauthorized employment gap that can complicate future H-1B petitions.
Ask Directly About H-1B Filing Timelines in Interviews
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed by the April 1 deadline for an October 1 start. During the offer stage, ask Commure's recruiter when they plan to initiate your petition so you can confirm it clears the USCIS registration window for your target fiscal year.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Active Commure Openings
Operations Project Manager roles at Commure open and close quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter for current sponsorship-eligible listings at Commure so you're applying to verified, open roles rather than positions already in final-round hiring.
Prepare a Green Card Pathway Conversation for Late-Stage Interviews
Commure sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, which require a PERM labor certification filed with the DOL. If you're on H-1B and targeting long-term stability, raise the PERM timeline during offer negotiation, not after you've signed, so both parties align on filing expectations upfront.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Commure sponsor H-1B visas for Operations Project Managers?
Yes, Commure sponsors H-1B visas for Operations Project Manager roles. The company has a consistent record of supporting work visa petitions for this function. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, your employer must register you during the USCIS lottery window in March, with approved petitions taking effect October 1 of the same year.
Which visa types does Commure support for Operations Project Manager positions?
Commure supports multiple visa pathways for Operations Project Managers, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals. For longer-term employment authorization, Commure also sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards through the PERM labor certification process filed with the DOL.
What qualifications does Commure expect for Operations Project Manager roles?
Commure typically looks for candidates with experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a technology or healthcare technology environment. Familiarity with software development lifecycles, stakeholder communication across engineering and clinical teams, and formal project management credentials such as a PMP strengthen your profile. Experience with health system operations or EHR platforms is a practical differentiator.
How do I apply for Operations Project Manager jobs at Commure?
You can browse and apply for Operations Project Manager roles at Commure through Migrate Mate, which filters for sponsorship-eligible positions so you're not wasting time on listings that won't support your visa. Apply directly through the job posting, tailor your resume to highlight cross-functional project delivery in tech or healthcare contexts, and be prepared to address your visa status and authorization timeline early in the recruiter screen.
How do I plan my timeline if Commure files an H-1B petition for me?
USCIS opens H-1B registration in early March, with the lottery drawing typically completed by late March. If selected, your petition must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date. If you're currently on F-1 OPT, confirm your EAD expiration date covers this gap. USCIS premium processing is available and can return a decision within 15 business days, which helps clarify your status before you transition out of student work authorization.
