Overview
Emerging Mid-Market (EMM) is one of QuickBooks’ highest-leverage growth bets — and it is scaling faster than the planning infrastructure behind it. This role stands up the planning command center for EMM: an independent forecast and point of view the team owns, a disciplined rhythm of business, and quota and capacity plans that connect targets to the inputs required to hit them. Sitting in the Planning & Reporting Center of Excellence and partnering closely with EMM Sales leadership and Finance, you turn a reactive, run-the-business reporting function into a forward-looking planning engine.
Responsibilities
Forecast & World-View
- Build and own an independent EMM forecast and revenue point of view — a world-view the team owns, not a roll-up of others’ numbers
- Drive forecast hygiene and deal-signal discipline (e.g., Gong-based forecasting), with weekly accuracy and variance analysis against plan
- Maintain the planning source of truth — weekly channel splits and operational plans — as the single reference for EMM targets
Rhythm of Business & Reporting
- Run the EMM rhythm of business — own the WBR/QBR cadence, the materials, and the follow-through on decisions
- Produce business performance reporting that sales leadership and Finance trust and act on
- Automate recurring reporting to remove manual effort and free the team for higher-value work
Quota & Capacity Planning
- Own EMM quota and capacity planning — translate segment targets into seller-level quotas and the inputs required to hit them
- Build and maintain a CAC-rightsized capacity model that connects investment to required capacity and expected output
- Manage Anaplan hierarchy and planning data integrity; partner with Finance on forecasting and quota setting
Qualifications
This role is for a planner who owns the numbers end to end — rigorous enough that leaders forecast and staff with confidence, and clear enough to turn a model into a decision.
Required
- 5–8+ years in sales planning, revenue / sales operations, FP&A, or business analytics at a SaaS or technology company
- Proven experience owning forecasting and a revenue point of view — building bottoms-up models and explaining variance to plan
- Hands-on quota and capacity planning — translating targets into seller-level goals and the inputs required to hit them
- Advanced modeling in Excel / Google Sheets; proficiency with a planning platform (Anaplan or similar) and BI tools (Tableau); SQL a plus
- Agentic AI fluency - had experience running State of the Art AI tool stack with agentic go-to-market use cases
- Strong command of the sales funnel and core B2B SaaS metrics — pipeline, conversion, productivity, and ARR
- Exceptional attention to detail and data integrity — your numbers are trusted without re-checking
- Clear communication — able to turn a forecast or capacity model into a story leaders and Finance act on
- Comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field
Preferred
- Experience standing up or running a rhythm of business (WBR / QBR) for a sales organization
- Familiarity with Anaplan hierarchy management and forecasting tools such as Gong
- Track record of automating recurring reporting to reduce manual effort
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Advanced or the SMB / Emerging Mid-Market segment
- Prior partnership with Finance on forecasting and quota setting
- Github repositories to showcase AI GTM fluency

Frame Your PMP Around Intuit's Product Org
Intuit's operations roles sit close to product and engineering. Tailor your resume to show project coordination across software release cycles, not just general ops work. Reviewers are looking for candidates who understand agile delivery environments.
Confirm Sponsorship Before Your First Interview
Intuit sponsors multiple visa types for this role, but individual hiring teams control timelines. Ask your recruiter directly whether the specific Operations Project Manager opening is approved for sponsorship before you invest time in multiple interview rounds.
Target Intuit Roles Through Migrate Mate
Search for Operations Project Manager openings at Intuit on Migrate Mate, which filters jobs by visa sponsorship type. This saves you from applying to postings where sponsorship eligibility is ambiguous or not confirmed for your visa category.
Align Your Degree Field With Specialty Occupation Standards
USCIS requires that your degree field directly relates to the operations management role. A business, engineering, or information systems background strengthens your H-1B petition. A general degree in an unrelated field can draw a Request for Evidence.
Understand Intuit's Fiscal Year Hiring Cycle
Intuit's headcount approvals typically align with its fiscal year, which ends in July. Operations Project Manager roles often open in the fall and spring. Timing your application ahead of those windows gives you the best chance of landing a role before H-1B cap season.
Plan Your Status Bridge If You're on OPT
If you're transitioning from F-1 OPT to H-1B through Intuit, confirm your OPT expiration date against USCIS cap-subject filing windows. A gap between your OPT end date and an October 1 H-1B start can leave you without work authorization.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas for Operations Project Managers?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas for Operations Project Manager roles. The company has a documented history of filing H-1B petitions across its operations and program management functions. Because H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed in April for an October 1 start, you'll want to secure your offer well before that window closes each year.
How do I apply for Operations Project Manager jobs at Intuit?
Apply directly through Intuit's careers site or browse open Operations Project Manager roles filtered by visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate. When you apply, tailor your resume to reflect cross-functional program delivery in a technology environment. After submitting, expect a recruiter screen followed by multiple rounds covering both behavioral and operational case-style questions.
Which visa types does Intuit commonly use for Operations Project Manager roles?
Intuit sponsors H-1B, E-3 visa, TN visa, F-1 OPT, and J-1 visas for operations roles, along with immigrant pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship. E-3 visa is available to Australian citizens and is often faster to process than H-1B. TN visa works for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or professional categories under the USMCA.
What qualifications does Intuit expect for Operations Project Manager candidates?
Intuit typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, combined with experience managing cross-functional projects in a technology or software environment. PMP certification or familiarity with agile frameworks is a common differentiator. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree field should align with the role's specialty occupation requirements under USCIS standards.
How long does the sponsorship and hiring process take at Intuit?
From offer letter to visa approval, the timeline depends on your visa type. H-1B sponsorship through Intuit follows the standard USCIS cap cycle, with premium processing available to reduce adjudication to 15 business days. E-3 and TN visas can move faster, sometimes within weeks. The PERM labor certification process for Green Card sponsorship typically takes one to two years beyond the initial employment start.
