Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Operations Project Manager Jobs at Sodexo Jobs
Frame Your Credentials Around Sodexo's Contracts
Sodexo wins large institutional contracts in healthcare, education, and corporate dining. Tailor your resume to show project management experience within complex, multi-site service environments. Quantify scope: number of sites managed, team sizes, and contract values you oversaw.
Target Roles Tied to New Contract Launches
Sodexo often hires Operations Project Managers when onboarding new accounts. Watch for postings that reference transitions, startups, or mobilization. These roles signal urgent hiring timelines and stronger sponsorship motivation than backfill positions at stable accounts.
Clarify Your Visa Category Before Applying
Sodexo sponsors multiple visa types relevant to operations roles. Before your first interview, confirm whether your current status fits TN, F-1 OPT, or requires H-2B. Misaligned visa expectations early in the process cause unnecessary delays after an offer is extended.
Ask About LCA Filing Timelines During Offer Stage
For TN or H-1B sponsorship, your employer files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before petition submission. Ask your Sodexo recruiter which team handles immigration filings and whether they use in-house counsel or external attorneys, so you can plan your start date realistically.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Open Roles Filtered by Visa Type
Search for Sodexo's Operations Project Manager openings on Migrate Mate, which filters active postings by the visa types Sodexo has historically sponsored. This saves time and focuses your applications on positions where sponsorship is a realistic outcome.
Align Your PMP or Equivalent Credential Proactively
Sodexo's operations project management roles frequently reference PMP certification or equivalent structured methodology in their job descriptions. Holding or actively pursuing this credential signals readiness for their client-facing project delivery model and strengthens your specialty occupation case for visa purposes.

Find Operations Project Manager at Sodexo JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Sodexo sponsor H-1B visas for Operations Project Managers?
Sodexo's primary sponsorship for Operations Project Manager roles tends to involve visa categories like TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1. H-1B sponsorship is possible but less common for this function. If H-1B is your required path, raise it directly with the recruiter early so both sides can assess feasibility before you progress through multiple interview rounds.
Which visa types does Sodexo commonly use for Operations Project Manager roles?
Sodexo has sponsored Operations Project Managers under TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and H-2B visas. TN is the most straightforward for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management roles. F-1 OPT is commonly used for recent graduates. The right visa depends on your citizenship, degree field, and how Sodexo classifies the specific position.
How do I apply for Operations Project Manager jobs at Sodexo?
Start by browsing current openings on Migrate Mate, which surfaces Sodexo's Operations Project Manager roles filtered by visa sponsorship type. Apply directly through Sodexo's careers portal and tailor your application to highlight multi-site service management experience. Mention your visa requirements clearly in your cover letter to avoid late-stage surprises during the offer process.
What qualifications does Sodexo expect for Operations Project Manager roles?
Most postings require a bachelor's degree in business, operations management, hospitality, or a related field, along with direct experience managing service delivery in food, facilities, or contract services environments. PMP certification is frequently referenced. Hands-on experience with client account management, budget oversight, and cross-functional coordination within institutional settings strengthens your candidacy significantly.
How do I realistically plan a start date when Sodexo is sponsoring my visa?
Timeline depends on your visa type. TN status for Canadian nationals can be obtained at the border, sometimes within days of an offer. F-1 OPT requires a DSO-issued EAD, which USCIS targets at 90 days to process. J-1 requires DS-2019 issuance before consular appointment. Build at least 60 to 90 days into your start date estimate and confirm Sodexo's preferred timeline with their HR team upfront.
