Target operational and hospitality roles
Sodexo's sponsorship activity is concentrated in food service, hospitality management, and facilities operations. Focus your applications on roles aligned with these functions, where the company has a stronger history of supporting international candidates through the visa process.
Understand which visa types Sodexo supports
Sodexo sponsors temporary and training visa categories rather than permanent pathways. Knowing this upfront helps you assess whether your current status aligns with what Sodexo is realistically prepared to support before investing time in the application process.
Highlight food service or hospitality experience
Sodexo hires at scale across dining, catering, and facility contracts. Candidates with hands-on food and beverage experience or hospitality credentials stand out. Tailor your application to show operational skills that translate directly to Sodexo's client-site model.
Apply early in the academic cycle if you're on OPT or CPT
Sodexo has a pattern of sponsoring F-1 students through OPT and CPT programs. If you're on an F-1 visa, start outreach well before your authorization period ends, since onboarding timelines at large hospitality employers can take several weeks.
Search for verified Sodexo openings on Migrate Mate
Not every Sodexo job listing signals visa sponsorship willingness. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find Sodexo roles where international candidates have actually been hired before.
Consider seasonal and contract-based openings
Sodexo operates under client contracts across universities, hospitals, and corporate campuses, which drives seasonal hiring surges. These openings can be a practical entry point for sponsored roles, particularly for candidates eligible for temporary work visa categories.

Find Sodexo JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Sodexo sponsor H-1B visas?
Sodexo does not have a strong track record of H-1B sponsorship. The company's visa activity is concentrated in temporary and training categories such as H-2B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and J-1. Candidates seeking H-1B sponsorship should assess whether their target role and department align with Sodexo's actual sponsorship patterns before applying.
What visa types does Sodexo sponsor?
Sodexo sponsors H-2B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and J-1 visas. This mix reflects its food service and facilities management workforce, which draws heavily on seasonal workers, international students, and TN-eligible Canadian and Mexican professionals. Permanent residency sponsorship, including Green Cards, does not appear to be a consistent part of Sodexo's immigration support.
Which departments or roles at Sodexo are most likely to be sponsored?
Sponsorship at Sodexo is most common in food service operations, hospitality management, dining services, and facilities management. Roles at client sites, including universities, hospitals, and corporate campuses, tend to drive the most hiring activity. Candidates with backgrounds in culinary arts, food and beverage management, or facilities operations are best positioned to find sponsored opportunities.
How do I find open sponsored jobs at Sodexo?
Use Migrate Mate to search for Sodexo roles filtered by visa sponsorship type. Because Sodexo operates across hundreds of client-site locations, listings are spread across multiple job categories, and not all postings clearly indicate sponsorship availability. Migrate Mate surfaces roles tied to verified sponsorship history, which saves time and helps you focus on realistic opportunities.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored at Sodexo?
Align your application with Sodexo's core business by emphasizing food service, hospitality, or facilities management experience. If you're on an F-1 visa, apply well ahead of your OPT or CPT window closing, since large contract-based employers like Sodexo move through structured hiring cycles. Demonstrating familiarity with high-volume, client-facing operations strengthens your candidacy significantly.
