Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Program Manager Jobs at Sodexo Jobs
Frame your credentials around operational scope
Sodexo's Program Manager roles require demonstrated experience managing multi-site service contracts or large-scale food operations. Tailor your resume to show P&L ownership, vendor coordination, and client relationship management across multiple locations before you apply.
Target Sodexo's healthcare and education segments
Program Manager openings at Sodexo cluster around hospital systems and university dining contracts. Searching by those verticals narrows your list to accounts where headcount is stable and sponsorship decisions are made at the regional director level, not centrally.
Clarify your visa category before your first interview
Sodexo sponsors several nonimmigrant categories, so the process differs depending on whether you're on F-1 OPT, a TN, or a J-1. Know which status you hold and its remaining duration before a recruiter asks, because the timeline affects when an offer can realistically convert to sponsorship.
Use Migrate Mate to filter active Program Manager openings
Sodexo posts Program Manager roles across dozens of states simultaneously and turnover is high. Use Migrate Mate to filter current openings by visa type so you're only spending time on positions where your work authorization fits what the hiring team can support.
Ask about LCA timing during the offer stage
For H-1B or TN sponsorship, your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can process anything. Confirm with your Sodexo recruiter when the LCA will be submitted so your start date and any OPT gap period align with the certified LCA's prevailing wage location.
Prepare for E-Verify on day one
Sodexo participates in E-Verify, which means your work authorization is confirmed electronically within three business days of your start date. Have your I-94, employment authorization document, or visa stamp ready alongside your passport to avoid a Tentative Nonconfirmation that could delay your onboarding.

Find Program Manager at Sodexo JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Sodexo sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Sodexo's primary sponsorship activity for Program Manager roles skews toward F-1 OPT, TN, and J-1 categories rather than H-1B. That reflects both the operational nature of the role and the nationality mix of applicants. H-1B sponsorship is not the default path for this function at Sodexo, so confirm your specific situation directly with the recruiting team during the offer stage.
Which visa types does Sodexo commonly use for Program Manager roles?
Sodexo has sponsored Program Managers on F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, J-1, and H-2B visas. F-1 OPT is the most common entry point for recent graduates. TN is relevant for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management occupations. J-1 sponsorship typically applies to exchange visitor programs. The right category depends on your nationality, degree field, and career stage.
What qualifications does Sodexo expect for Program Manager positions?
Sodexo generally expects a bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field, combined with hands-on experience managing food service or facilities accounts. Experience with client contract management, team leadership, and budget oversight is weighted heavily. For roles tied to healthcare or university dining, familiarity with regulated environments and compliance documentation gives your application a measurable edge.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Sodexo?
Applications go through Sodexo's careers portal, but roles open and close quickly across hundreds of locations. Migrate Mate lets you browse active Program Manager openings at Sodexo filtered by the visa types the company sponsors, so you can focus on positions where your work authorization is a fit before investing time in a full application. Apply directly through Sodexo's site once you've identified the right opening.
How do I plan my timeline if I'm on OPT and targeting Sodexo?
If you're on F-1 OPT, your authorized period is finite, and any gap between OPT expiration and a new status approval creates a compliance risk. Start the conversation with Sodexo's recruiter about sponsorship intent before your OPT has less than four months remaining. STEM OPT extensions give you additional runway, but USCIS processing times mean filing needs to begin well before your current authorization expires.
