Overview
Role Overview
Intuit is undergoing a major transformation to modernize, unify, and scale our global partner ecosystem. The Global Partner Program (GPP) is our unified GTM framework designed to standardize enrollment, tiering, commercial benefits, and support experiences for all partner tracks—including Accountants, Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Developers, and ISVs—under a single platform: the Intuit Partner Suite (IPS).
As Manager, Partner Program Operations, you will build and lead the team that runs GPP day to day: partner onboarding and lifecycle, tiering and incentives, tier-aware support, co-sell protection, and the governance that holds it all together. You will own the redefined Sales Ops remit for GPP — the single interface into Systems/Engineering, BRD and SOP ownership, incentive and automation design, and the unified operating rhythm that keeps Partner Program and Sales aligned. This is a ground-floor role: you will hire, coach, and grow a small team while standing up the operating model itself.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Build & Lead the Team: Hire, onboard, and manage a small mixed team of FTEs and contract workers; set priorities, coach for growth, and size the team against the GPP staffing model as scope scales.
- Own GPP Operations End to End: Be accountable for all aspects of partner program operations — onboarding & lifecycle, performance & tiering, tier-aware support, co-sell & lead protection, benefits & incentives, and governance & exceptions — ensuring policy, process, and systems stay in lockstep.
- Redefine the Sales Ops Remit for GPP: Own the transition of steady-state technical execution from PMO to this team; be the single point of accountability for BRD/SOP ownership, incentive and automation design (wholesale billing, PRM mechanics, MDF), and the unified operating model.
- Program & Incentive Ops: Own the execution of partner tiering, segmentation, comp plans, and rules of engagement — operationalizing GPP even as supporting tooling catches up.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Represent Partner Program Operations with GPP Program Design, Partner Sales, Data and Systems Engineering, Enablement, Finance, and Legal.
- Launch Readiness: Drive the team's execution against the Global Partner Program's launch and the ongoing migration of legacy partners onto the new platform.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Operations Leadership: 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Program Management, Partner/Channel Operations, or a related field.
- People Management: 2+ years of people management experience, or demonstrated experience building and leading teams, contractors, or cross-functional programs.
- Zero-to-One Builder: Proven experience standing up or scaling an operations function from the ground up — process, systems, and team, in that order.
- Technical Fluency: Comfort owning technical/systems-adjacent scope (BRDs, PRM/CRM platforms, automation) without being an engineer — you translate between business and technical teams.
- Program Rigor: Strong analytical and program-management discipline — able to run a multi-workstream operating cadence (WBR/QBR) and hold cross-functional partners accountable.
- Executive Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with credibility to influence senior leaders (VP level and above) and engineering partners alike.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with Global Partner Program-style tiered partner ecosystems (VAR, reseller, ISV, or developer programs).
- Familiarity with PRM platforms (Salesforce PRM, Impartner, ZiftONE), incentive/compensation systems (Varicent), and deal-desk/quoting tools.
- Experience managing a blended team of FTEs and contract workers.
- Prior experience in a SaaS, fintech, or subscription business.

Frame your PM credentials for specialty occupation
Intuit's H-1B petitions for Program Managers require demonstrating specialty occupation status. Make sure your resume ties your degree field directly to your PM discipline, whether that's computer science, engineering, or information systems, not just general business.
Target Intuit's platform and fintech product teams
Intuit clusters Program Manager hiring around QuickBooks, TurboTax, and Credit Karma. Applying to roles within these product lines signals domain fit and increases your chances with hiring managers who understand the complexity of sponsoring international candidates.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open PM roles
Intuit posts Program Manager positions across multiple job boards, making it easy to miss roles that explicitly support visa sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter and track Intuit openings confirmed to sponsor, so you're applying to the right positions from the start.
Clarify your OPT timeline before your first interview
If you're on F-1 OPT, calculate your remaining authorized period before engaging Intuit's recruiters. Program Manager hiring cycles at large technology companies typically run eight to sixteen weeks, and your cap-gap or STEM extension eligibility affects how the team structures your start date and H-1B filing timeline.
Negotiate your start date around the H-1B cap
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed in April for an October 1 start. If your offer lands outside that window, discuss an alternative start under a cap-exempt arrangement or plan your OPT bridge with your employer's immigration counsel before countersigning.
Request a PERM-aware role structure for Green Card planning
Intuit supports EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship for Program Managers. During offer negotiation, ask whether the role description is structured to satisfy DOL's PERM minimum requirements, since a generic job title without defined duties can extend your labor certification timeline significantly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. The company files both cap-subject and transfer petitions for this function across its product divisions. Because Program Manager is a defined specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher, these petitions are generally well-supported, though your specific role description needs to satisfy USCIS's specialty occupation criteria.
Which visa types does Intuit commonly use for Program Manager positions?
Intuit sponsors Program Managers under several visa categories, including H-1B, E-3 visa for Australian citizens, TN visa for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and F-1 OPT or CPT for students completing degrees in the U.S. For longer-term sponsorship, Intuit also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways, with PERM labor certification typically initiated after a candidate has been in role for some time.
What qualifications does Intuit expect for Program Manager roles?
Intuit's Program Manager positions typically require a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a closely related field, combined with demonstrated experience managing cross-functional software programs. Roles tied to QuickBooks or TurboTax often expect familiarity with agile delivery, stakeholder management at scale, and the ability to translate technical requirements into roadmap priorities within a large matrixed organization.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Intuit?
You can apply directly through Intuit's careers site, but not every listing specifies whether visa sponsorship is available for that particular opening. To avoid applying to roles that won't support your situation, browse Program Manager positions at Intuit through Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles confirmed to sponsor and lets you filter by visa type so you're targeting the right opportunities from the start.
How do I plan my timeline for H-1B sponsorship at Intuit?
The H-1B cap registration window opens in March, with approved petitions taking effect October 1. If Intuit selects you in the lottery and files your petition, you'll typically receive a USCIS receipt notice within a few weeks of the April filing date. If you're currently on OPT, coordinate your offer letter timing and start date carefully, since your authorized period and any STEM extension must bridge through to your H-1B activation date.
