Overview
Role Overview
Intuit is undergoing a major transformation to modernize, unify, and scale our global partner ecosystem. The Global Partner Program (GPP) is our unified GTM framework designed to standardize enrollment, tiering, commercial benefits, and support experiences for all partner tracks—including Accountants, Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Developers, and ISVs—under a single platform: the Intuit Partner Suite (IPS).
As Manager, Partner Program Operations, you will build and lead the team that runs GPP day to day: partner onboarding and lifecycle, tiering and incentives, tier-aware support, co-sell protection, and the governance that holds it all together. You will own the redefined Sales Ops remit for GPP — the single interface into Systems/Engineering, BRD and SOP ownership, incentive and automation design, and the unified operating rhythm that keeps Partner Program and Sales aligned. This is a ground-floor role: you will hire, coach, and grow a small team while standing up the operating model itself.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Build & Lead the Team: Hire, onboard, and manage a small mixed team of FTEs and contract workers; set priorities, coach for growth, and size the team against the GPP staffing model as scope scales.
- Own GPP Operations End to End: Be accountable for all aspects of partner program operations — onboarding & lifecycle, performance & tiering, tier-aware support, co-sell & lead protection, benefits & incentives, and governance & exceptions — ensuring policy, process, and systems stay in lockstep.
- Redefine the Sales Ops Remit for GPP: Own the transition of steady-state technical execution from PMO to this team; be the single point of accountability for BRD/SOP ownership, incentive and automation design (wholesale billing, PRM mechanics, MDF), and the unified operating model.
- Program & Incentive Ops: Own the execution of partner tiering, segmentation, comp plans, and rules of engagement — operationalizing GPP even as supporting tooling catches up.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Represent Partner Program Operations with GPP Program Design, Partner Sales, Data and Systems Engineering, Enablement, Finance, and Legal.
- Launch Readiness: Drive the team's execution against the Global Partner Program's launch and the ongoing migration of legacy partners onto the new platform.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Operations Leadership: 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Program Management, Partner/Channel Operations, or a related field.
- People Management: 2+ years of people management experience, or demonstrated experience building and leading teams, contractors, or cross-functional programs.
- Zero-to-One Builder: Proven experience standing up or scaling an operations function from the ground up — process, systems, and team, in that order.
- Technical Fluency: Comfort owning technical/systems-adjacent scope (BRDs, PRM/CRM platforms, automation) without being an engineer — you translate between business and technical teams.
- Program Rigor: Strong analytical and program-management discipline — able to run a multi-workstream operating cadence (WBR/QBR) and hold cross-functional partners accountable.
- Executive Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with credibility to influence senior leaders (VP level and above) and engineering partners alike.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with Global Partner Program-style tiered partner ecosystems (VAR, reseller, ISV, or developer programs).
- Familiarity with PRM platforms (Salesforce PRM, Impartner, ZiftONE), incentive/compensation systems (Varicent), and deal-desk/quoting tools.
- Experience managing a blended team of FTEs and contract workers.
- Prior experience in a SaaS, fintech, or subscription business.

Align your credentials to Intuit's operational scope
Intuit's Operations Manager roles frequently sit at the intersection of product, finance, and go-to-market teams. Documenting experience with cross-functional program management or SaaS operational workflows strengthens your profile for their specific hiring criteria.
Target Intuit's fintech business units directly
Roles supporting TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Credit Karma operate on different hiring cycles. Filtering your search by business unit rather than job title alone surfaces openings with distinct sponsorship timelines and team structures.
Confirm your visa type early in the process
Intuit sponsors multiple categories including H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT. Knowing which category applies to you before your first recruiter screen lets you address sponsorship directly without stalling the offer stage.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsorship listings
Not every Operations Manager listing at Intuit explicitly states visa sponsorship availability. Use Migrate Mate to identify and track roles where Intuit has an active sponsorship history for your visa category before investing time in applications.
Prepare for OPT timing constraints before accepting an offer
If you're on F-1 OPT, your start date and the USCIS H-1B cap-subject filing window in April need to align. Flag this with your Intuit recruiter early so the offer letter and employment start date account for the transition timeline.
Ask your recruiter about the LCA filing stage
The DOL Labor Condition Application must be certified before Intuit can file your H-1B petition. Understanding where you are in that sequence helps you anticipate delays and avoid misreading a slow response as a sponsorship withdrawal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas for Operations Managers?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas for Operations Manager roles. The company has a dedicated immigration support function and works with outside counsel to manage petitions. Because H-1B cap-subject filings are tied to the April lottery window, your offer timing relative to that deadline matters, and Intuit's recruiting team is generally familiar with navigating those constraints.
How do I apply for Operations Manager jobs at Intuit?
Applications go through Intuit's careers portal, but not every listing explicitly flags visa sponsorship availability. To find Operations Manager roles where Intuit has a confirmed sponsorship track record for your visa category, browse Migrate Mate's verified listings before applying directly on Intuit's site. Tailoring your application to the specific business unit, such as QuickBooks or TurboTax, increases relevance.
Which visa types does Intuit commonly use for Operations Manager roles?
Intuit sponsors across several categories for this function, including H-1B for specialty occupation workers, E-3 visa for Australian citizens, TN visa for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students. For longer-term permanent residency, Intuit has also supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through the PERM labor certification process.
What qualifications does Intuit expect for Operations Manager candidates?
Intuit typically looks for a bachelor's degree in business, operations, engineering, or a related field, combined with experience managing cross-functional initiatives in a technology or SaaS environment. Familiarity with financial products, vendor management, or scaled operational systems is an advantage. For visa purposes, the degree must align with the specialty occupation standard USCIS applies to H-1B petitions.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take when joining Intuit as an Operations Manager?
Timeline depends on your visa category. E-3 and TN approvals can be processed at a port of entry or consulate in a matter of weeks. H-1B petitions are subject to the annual cap and must be filed in April for an October start, though USCIS premium processing can reduce adjudication to around 15 business days once filed. PERM-based Green Card processes typically take one to three years or more.
