Target roles in engineering and product
Intuit's sponsorship activity is concentrated in software engineering, data science, and product management. Focus your applications on technical and product roles, where the company has the deepest hiring pipeline and the strongest history of sponsoring international candidates.
Understand which visa types Intuit supports
Intuit sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and Green Card pathways. Knowing which category applies to your situation before you apply helps you ask informed questions during recruiter calls and signals you've done your homework.
Apply early in Intuit's hiring cycle
Intuit recruits heavily ahead of the H-1B cap season, which runs April through June. Targeting open roles between January and March gives your application the best chance of aligning with the company's sponsorship and petition filing timeline.
Leverage Intuit's F-1 OPT and CPT hiring as a pathway
Intuit actively hires F-1 students on OPT and CPT, which can serve as a bridge to H-1B sponsorship. Landing an internship or entry-level role under OPT puts you in a stronger position to receive H-1B sponsorship before your work authorization expires.
Highlight fintech domain knowledge in your application
Intuit builds tax, accounting, and small business financial software. Candidates who demonstrate familiarity with financial technology, regulatory compliance in software, or SMB workflows stand out against a competitive applicant pool targeting the same sponsored roles.
Search for verified Intuit openings before applying
Not every job posting reflects real sponsorship willingness. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you confirm Intuit is actively hiring for roles that align with your visa category before you invest time applying.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas and is one of the more active sponsors in the U.S. technology and software industry. Sponsorship is most common for software engineering, data science, and technical product roles. If you're targeting an H-1B, applying to Intuit's technical teams ahead of the April cap season gives you the strongest chance of alignment.
Which visa types does Intuit sponsor?
Intuit sponsors a wide range of visa types, including H-1B, E-3 visa, TN visa, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1 visa, and Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 categories. This breadth makes Intuit a strong option for international candidates at different stages of their U.S. immigration journey, from students on OPT to professionals seeking permanent residence.
Which departments or roles at Intuit are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Intuit is most concentrated in software engineering, machine learning, data engineering, and technical product management. These teams drive the core of Intuit's product development across platforms like TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Credit Karma. Roles in corporate functions like finance, marketing, or HR are sponsored less frequently and typically require a stronger individual case.
How do I find open roles at Intuit that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lists verified sponsoring employers so you can browse Intuit's open positions filtered by visa type and sponsorship history. This is more reliable than searching general job boards, where sponsorship eligibility is often unclear or outdated. Filter by your visa category to see which Intuit roles are actively available for international candidates.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored by Intuit?
The strongest applicants for Intuit sponsorship combine relevant technical skills with some familiarity with financial technology or SMB software. Applying early in the calendar year improves your odds for H-1B cap alignment. If you're on F-1 OPT, targeting Intuit for an internship or entry-level role first can create a natural path to full H-1B sponsorship before your authorization expires.
