Overview
Intuit is on a mission to power prosperity around the world. Within our Mid-Market segment, we are building the next-generation ERP platform that defines how growing and complex businesses operate in an AI-native world. To win in Mid-Market, we must deliver vertical editions — differentiated, defensible products purpose-built for specific, complex industries.
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to own Intuit's Healthcare vertical. This is a 0-1 opportunity; healthcare is a greenfield space for us, and this product manager will define what winning looks like. You will translate the complexity of healthcare provider and services operations into a compliance-ready, AI-native product roadmap that makes Intuit the operating backbone of mid-market healthcare businesses.
Responsibilities
-
Define the multi-year product vision for the Healthcare vertical edition within the Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES).
-
Identify the highest-impact workflows for healthcare providers, billing services, and healthcare-adjacent businesses — and build a roadmap that solves them better than any competitor.
-
Develop and maintain the Healthcare "Command Center" vision: the go-to operating system for healthcare business owners and CFOs.
-
Prioritize ruthlessly across compliance, AI automation, and workflow innovation to deliver a roadmap that wins customers and drives retention.
-
Own Intuit's Healthcare compliance posture for the vertical — HIPAA readiness, billing requirements (CPT/ICD coding integrations), and regulatory reporting workflows.
-
Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Security to ensure the product meets the evolving regulatory requirements of healthcare providers without sacrificing user experience.
-
Translate compliance constraints into product opportunities: make compliance a competitive moat, not a cost center.
-
Deeply understand the operational pain points of mid-market healthcare businesses: medical practices, dental groups, outpatient facilities, healthcare staffing, and related services.
-
Build and maintain a network of reference customers, design partners, and industry SMEs to ground the roadmap in real-world workflows.
-
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative signals (customer interviews, usage data, win/loss analysis) into product decisions with clear business outcomes.
-
Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and GTM to take features from concept to GA with speed and quality.
-
Define and track OKRs aligned to Healthcare vertical revenue, retention, and customer satisfaction.
-
Represent the Healthcare vertical in MPR, planning cycles, and executive reviews — communicating progress, risks, and asks clearly.
-
Identify and evaluate strategic integrations with healthcare-specific 3rd party tools (EHR/EMR systems, billing platforms, payroll providers) that create a "1+1=3" value proposition.
-
Work with VARs, accounting partners, and healthcare industry influencers to scale market presence and awareness.
-
Act as Intuit's external voice for the Healthcare vertical at key industry events and with press and analysts.
Qualifications
-
10+ years in product management, with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS, ERP, or a complex platform product.
-
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree (MHA, MBA, or MPH) a plus.
-
Domain expertise in healthcare operations, medical billing, or healthcare technology — you deeply understand the operational complexity of mid-market healthcare businesses.
-
Track record of owning a 0-1 product build or new market entry, from discovery through GA.
-
Comfort operating in a compliance-heavy environment; you know how to ship fast without creating regulatory risk.
-
Strong customer empathy and qualitative research skills — you can run a discovery interview, synthesize 20 customer calls into a crisp insight, and translate that into a roadmap decision.
-
Data fluency: comfortable with SQL, dashboards, and quantitative analysis to validate decisions.
-
Executive presence and written communication skills to represent the vertical with senior leadership.

Frame your PM experience around Intuit's product lines
Intuit organizes product work around TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Credit Karma. Tailor your resume to show domain overlap with fintech, tax software, or small business tools, not just generic product management credentials.
Clarify your visa type before the recruiter screen
Intuit's recruiters handle multiple visa categories. Know whether you need H-1B transfer, E-3, or TN sponsorship before your first call. Ambiguity about your status slows hiring decisions at the offer stage.
Target roles aligned with your degree field
H-1B specialty occupation rules require your degree to match the role's field. For Product Lead positions, degrees in computer science, engineering, or business generally satisfy USCIS requirements. A mismatched degree creates petition risk even with a strong offer.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Product Lead roles
Intuit posts Product Lead roles across multiple business units at different times. Use Migrate Mate to filter listings by visa type and identify which openings are actively seeking sponsored candidates, so you're not applying blind.
Confirm LCA wage level matches your seniority
Intuit must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before sponsoring any H-1B. The prevailing wage level on the LCA must match the role's actual seniority. Ask your recruiter which wage level the role is posted at early in the process.
Build a portfolio showing cross-functional product leadership
Product Lead interviews at Intuit emphasize influence without authority across engineering, design, and data science. Prepare concrete examples of driving roadmap decisions with distributed or matrixed teams, since that reflects how Intuit's product org actually operates.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas for Product Leads?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas for Product Lead roles. The process involves filing a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and then submitting an H-1B petition to USCIS. If you're already on an H-1B with another employer, Intuit can file a transfer petition, which lets you start working before USCIS issues a final decision.
Which visa types does Intuit commonly sponsor for Product Lead roles?
Intuit sponsors several visa categories for Product Lead positions, including H-1B, E-3 visa for Australian citizens, TN visa for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and Green Card pathways through EB-2 or EB-3. The company also works with candidates on F-1 OPT and CPT, which can bridge the gap while longer-term sponsorship is arranged.
What qualifications does Intuit expect for a sponsored Product Lead position?
Intuit typically looks for a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or business, combined with several years of product management experience. For sponsored roles, your degree needs to align with the position to satisfy H-1B specialty occupation requirements. Demonstrated experience leading product strategy across complex, cross-functional teams carries significant weight in the evaluation.
How do I apply for Product Lead jobs at Intuit?
You can browse and apply for Product Lead roles at Intuit through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you can quickly identify positions that match your work authorization situation. Intuit posts openings across multiple product lines at different times, so checking regularly and applying directly through the company's official application process gives you the best shot.
How do I time my application if I'm on F-1 OPT expiring soon?
If your OPT end date is within a few months, flag it early with the recruiter. Intuit's immigration team needs enough lead time to file an H-1B cap-subject petition or explore cap-exempt options. If your OPT expires before an H-1B takes effect on October 1, a timely cap-gap extension may cover the gap, but only if you're already in the lottery.
