Overview
Intuit is on a mission to power prosperity around the world. Within our Mid-Market segment, we are building the next-generation ERP platform that defines how growing and complex businesses operate in an AI-native world. To win in Mid-Market, we must deliver vertical editions — differentiated, defensible products purpose-built for specific, complex industries.
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to own Intuit's Healthcare vertical. This is a 0-1 opportunity; healthcare is a greenfield space for us, and this product manager will define what winning looks like. You will translate the complexity of healthcare provider and services operations into a compliance-ready, AI-native product roadmap that makes Intuit the operating backbone of mid-market healthcare businesses.
Responsibilities
-
Define the multi-year product vision for the Healthcare vertical edition within the Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES).
-
Identify the highest-impact workflows for healthcare providers, billing services, and healthcare-adjacent businesses — and build a roadmap that solves them better than any competitor.
-
Develop and maintain the Healthcare "Command Center" vision: the go-to operating system for healthcare business owners and CFOs.
-
Prioritize ruthlessly across compliance, AI automation, and workflow innovation to deliver a roadmap that wins customers and drives retention.
-
Own Intuit's Healthcare compliance posture for the vertical — HIPAA readiness, billing requirements (CPT/ICD coding integrations), and regulatory reporting workflows.
-
Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Security to ensure the product meets the evolving regulatory requirements of healthcare providers without sacrificing user experience.
-
Translate compliance constraints into product opportunities: make compliance a competitive moat, not a cost center.
-
Deeply understand the operational pain points of mid-market healthcare businesses: medical practices, dental groups, outpatient facilities, healthcare staffing, and related services.
-
Build and maintain a network of reference customers, design partners, and industry SMEs to ground the roadmap in real-world workflows.
-
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative signals (customer interviews, usage data, win/loss analysis) into product decisions with clear business outcomes.
-
Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and GTM to take features from concept to GA with speed and quality.
-
Define and track OKRs aligned to Healthcare vertical revenue, retention, and customer satisfaction.
-
Represent the Healthcare vertical in MPR, planning cycles, and executive reviews — communicating progress, risks, and asks clearly.
-
Identify and evaluate strategic integrations with healthcare-specific 3rd party tools (EHR/EMR systems, billing platforms, payroll providers) that create a "1+1=3" value proposition.
-
Work with VARs, accounting partners, and healthcare industry influencers to scale market presence and awareness.
-
Act as Intuit's external voice for the Healthcare vertical at key industry events and with press and analysts.
Qualifications
-
10+ years in product management, with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS, ERP, or a complex platform product.
-
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree (MHA, MBA, or MPH) a plus.
-
Domain expertise in healthcare operations, medical billing, or healthcare technology — you deeply understand the operational complexity of mid-market healthcare businesses.
-
Track record of owning a 0-1 product build or new market entry, from discovery through GA.
-
Comfort operating in a compliance-heavy environment; you know how to ship fast without creating regulatory risk.
-
Strong customer empathy and qualitative research skills — you can run a discovery interview, synthesize 20 customer calls into a crisp insight, and translate that into a roadmap decision.
-
Data fluency: comfortable with SQL, dashboards, and quantitative analysis to validate decisions.
-
Executive presence and written communication skills to represent the vertical with senior leadership.

Align your portfolio to fintech product domains
Intuit's PM roles span TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Credit Karma. Tailoring your product portfolio to show experience with consumer financial products, tax workflows, or small business tools signals direct relevance to the hiring team before your resume reaches a recruiter.
Clarify your visa type before applying
Intuit sponsors multiple visa categories, but your current status shapes the timeline. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility early. H-1B and E-3 candidates should know whether they need a cap-subject petition or a transfer from a previous employer.
Target roles that map to your degree field
H-1B specialty occupation rules require your degree to relate directly to the role. For Intuit PM positions, a background in computer science, information systems, or business analytics strengthens the connection that USCIS reviewers look for when evaluating petition eligibility.
Use Migrate Mate to find open PM roles at Intuit
Intuit posts Product Manager positions across multiple teams and locations. Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by visa type so you're only applying to positions where your sponsorship need is already a known variable, not a late-stage surprise.
Prepare for PM-specific technical and strategy interviews
Intuit's PM interview process typically combines product sense, data interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration questions. Come prepared with examples from financial services or platform products, since interviewers will test domain fit alongside core PM skills.
Understand the LCA filing step before accepting an offer
Before Intuit can file your H-1B or E-3 petition, their legal team must obtain a certified Labor Condition Application from the DOL. Knowing this step exists helps you ask the right questions about start date timing and whether premium processing is part of their standard process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas for Product Managers?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas for Product Manager roles. The company works with immigration counsel to file cap-subject petitions and cap-exempt transfers depending on the candidate's situation. If you're currently on another employer's H-1B, Intuit can initiate a transfer without waiting for the annual lottery. For new cap-subject cases, timing your offer around the April filing window matters.
How do I apply for Product Manager jobs at Intuit?
Applications go through Intuit's careers portal, where PM roles are listed by team and product area. You can also find and filter Intuit's open Product Manager positions on Migrate Mate, which lets you browse by visa type so you know upfront which roles align with your sponsorship situation. Tailoring your resume to the specific product domain, such as platform, consumer, or small business, improves your chances of clearing the initial screen.
Which visa types does Intuit commonly sponsor for Product Manager roles?
Intuit sponsors H-1B, E-3 visa, TN visa, L-1 visa, and F-1 OPT for Product Manager positions, as well as Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 through PERM. Australian citizens on the E-3 visa avoid the H-1B lottery entirely, making that a faster path. TN visa is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupational categories. Each visa type has different eligibility conditions tied to your nationality and current status.
What qualifications does Intuit expect for sponsored Product Manager roles?
Intuit typically looks for PM candidates with a bachelor's degree or higher in a technical or business-related field, along with demonstrated experience owning a product from discovery through launch. Roles on AI, data, or platform teams often expect familiarity with APIs or analytics tools. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree field should have a clear connection to the PM role, since USCIS requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation.
How do I think about timing if I need Intuit to sponsor my visa?
If you need a new H-1B, your start date can't be before October 1 of the relevant fiscal year, so offers made in late winter or spring carry a built-in wait. E-3 and TN visas move faster since there's no lottery and applications can be processed at a consulate. F-1 OPT holders should track their OPT expiration and STEM extension deadlines against Intuit's hiring timeline to avoid a gap in work authorization.
