Frame your domain knowledge around life sciences
Veeva serves pharma, biotech, and medical device companies exclusively. Product Manager candidates who can speak to regulated industry workflows, like clinical data management or commercial compliance, stand out over generalist software PMs in screening calls.
Clarify your visa status before the technical screen
Veeva's recruiting process moves quickly from phone screen to case study to offer. If you need H-1B transfer or cap-gap coverage, surface your timeline early so the hiring team can loop in HR before an offer is extended.
Request concurrent Green Card filing with your H-1B
Veeva sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant petitions, so ask whether the company will file your PERM labor certification concurrently with your H-1B approval. This matters most if your priority date is years away and you want I-140 approval locked in early.
Use OPT strategically if you are on F-1
Veeva participates in F-1 OPT and CPT hiring. If your OPT authorization period overlaps with a cap year, confirm that the company will file your H-1B petition in March so STEM OPT extension covers any gap between OPT expiration and October 1 status.
Map open roles to Veeva's product suite before applying
Veeva organizes Product Manager roles by cloud: Vault, Veeva CRM, or Data Cloud. Applications tied to a specific product area with relevant experience move faster than general applications. Search Migrate Mate's filtered listings to identify which product teams are actively hiring and sponsoring.
Confirm TN eligibility if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
TN status covers computer systems analysts, a category that can cover certain Product Manager scopes depending on job duties. Have a TN memo prepared that maps your PM responsibilities to the qualifying occupational description before your offer call.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Veeva Systems sponsor H-1B visas for Product Managers?
Yes, Veeva Systems sponsors H-1B visas for Product Manager roles. The company has a consistent history of filing H-1B petitions for this function, including both new cap-subject registrations and transfers for candidates already holding H-1B status with another employer. If you are currently on H-1B, you can begin working at Veeva as soon as the transfer petition is filed, without waiting for approval.
How do I apply for Product Manager jobs at Veeva Systems?
Apply directly through Veeva's careers portal, and tailor your application to a specific product cloud such as Vault or Veeva CRM rather than submitting a general interest application. Migrate Mate lists open Product Manager roles at Veeva Systems filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can identify which positions are actively accepting sponsored candidates before investing time in the application.
Which visa types does Veeva Systems commonly use for Product Manager roles?
Veeva sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 visas for Product Managers as the primary nonimmigrant pathways. The company also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for candidates in the academic-to-workforce transition, and TN visa status for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles. On the immigrant side, Veeva files EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions, including the PERM labor certification process, for Product Managers pursuing permanent residence.
What qualifications does Veeva Systems look for in Product Manager candidates?
Veeva typically expects Product Manager candidates to have experience with enterprise SaaS products, and domain knowledge in life sciences, pharma, or clinical operations is a meaningful differentiator. A bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field supports both the specialty occupation standard for H-1B purposes and the role's day-to-day requirements. Product Managers who have worked with regulated data environments, validation processes, or clinical trial software advance further in the process.
How do I time my application if my OPT expires soon?
If your F-1 OPT expires before October 1 and you need H-1B status, the timeline is tight. Veeva would need to submit your H-1B registration in March during the USCIS lottery window. If selected, your petition targets an October 1 start date. STEM OPT extension, if you qualify, gives you up to 24 additional months of work authorization to bridge any gap, but your employer must be enrolled in E-Verify, which Veeva is.
