Frame your domain expertise for life sciences
Veeva's Business Consultants work directly with pharmaceutical and biotech clients on software implementation. Tailor your resume to highlight any life sciences, clinical operations, or regulated industry experience before you apply. Generic consulting backgrounds don't land here.
Confirm your visa type matches the role
Veeva sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, TN, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT for this role. If you're on CPT or OPT, verify your graduation timeline aligns with a full-time start date, since Business Consultant roles typically require immediate availability.
Build a Veeva-specific application before outreach
Veeva posts Business Consultant openings by product line and region. Review the specific product area listed, whether Vault Clinical or Commercial Cloud, and address it directly in your cover letter. Recruiters screen for product familiarity before passing candidates to hiring managers.
Understand where PERM fits in your long-term path
For Green Card sponsorship under EB-2 or EB-3, your employer files a PERM labor certification with the DOL before your I-140 petition. At Veeva, this typically begins after demonstrated performance in role, so focus on the H-1B first and confirm PERM availability during offer negotiation.
Time your H-1B transfer to avoid status gaps
If you're already on an H-1B with another employer, Veeva can file an H-1B transfer and you can start work once USCIS receives the petition. Track your I-94 expiration and make sure the transfer is filed before your current status ends to stay in authorized status.
Use Migrate Mate to target open Business Consultant roles
Veeva's Business Consultant openings are spread across product lines and locations. Use Migrate Mate to filter for current openings at Veeva that match your visa type, so you're applying to roles where sponsorship is confirmed rather than assumed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Veeva Systems sponsor H-1B visas for Business Consultants?
Yes, Veeva Systems sponsors H-1B visas for Business Consultant roles. The company has an active sponsorship program across its consulting function and files petitions for both new H-1B cap-subject candidates and H-1B transfers from other employers. If you're already in H-1B status, a transfer to Veeva is the most straightforward path.
How do I apply for Business Consultant jobs at Veeva Systems?
Start by identifying open Business Consultant roles on Veeva's careers page, filtered by product line or region. Veeva posts openings across Vault Clinical, Commercial Cloud, and other product areas. You can also browse current visa-sponsoring Business Consultant roles at Veeva directly on Migrate Mate, which filters for positions where sponsorship has been confirmed.
Which visa types does Veeva Systems commonly use for Business Consultant roles?
Veeva sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, TN, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT for Business Consultant positions, along with Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 PERM. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. H-1B1 visa applies specifically to Chilean and Singaporean nationals. Each type has different processing steps and eligibility requirements.
What qualifications does Veeva Systems expect for Business Consultant roles?
Veeva typically looks for a bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, information systems, or a related field, along with experience in software implementation, consulting, or a regulated industry environment. Familiarity with pharmaceutical or biotech workflows is a significant differentiator. For H-1B qualification, the role must meet USCIS specialty occupation standards, which Veeva's Business Consultant positions generally satisfy given the degree-specific knowledge required.
How do I know if Veeva will sponsor me before I apply?
Visa sponsorship decisions at Veeva are role- and location-specific. The clearest signal is whether the job posting explicitly lists sponsorship availability. If it doesn't, confirm directly with the recruiter early in the process. Asking during an initial screening call is standard practice and won't hurt your candidacy. For F-1 OPT or CPT, also verify your remaining work authorization window covers the role's expected start date.
